I think she is still alive because the game developers said that Lilly’s season 4 return was actually supposed to be Christa, but they changed it to Lilly because they didn’t think that Christa was that kind of person. So that gives me hope that she is still alive anyway.

Since christa didn't have her baby in s2, it would be been better if she was lily in s4. Kidnapping kids because you lost a child would be a better backstory.

Maybe but it also may be better for her to be in delta against her well because she lost her child and clem. I have a feeling she would see it as inhumane especially looking at Minerva. Like clem and her child could of easily been like her and may have murdered each other that's like a mother's worse nightmare for your child to die at the hands of the other one.
It also sounds out of character though, since kidnapping kids is usually something insane people do, and Christa seems sane

Christa doesn't have that in her though. I just couldn't see that happening. I could see her being conscripted and going along against her will just to survive but I couldn't see her being a leader of them and being totally ruthless like you could see Lilly being.

From what I heard, the creators said they used Christa as a sort of example of separating from someone and never seeing them again in the world of walking dead. In a sad way... That makes sense. Realistically, when you get separated from a companion in such a world, there's little to no chance you'd reunite with them. ESPECIALLY of you didn't agree on a destination or a marker on where to meet up if such a things happens. I believe Christa did make it, but given the circumstances, I think she just assumed Clem died since... Well, she's still a kid. And what happened has hardened Christa so... Yeah..
This I don't believe because if telltale was to do this the return of Kenny would never have happend also same with lilly returning these sort of situation provide a better cliffhanger so christa I believe if telltale make another game will return
@@mohammedyt1413 Well, we had to see this happen sometime. Besides, Clem wouldn't have experienced this with Kenny because she wasn't with him one last time. It was Lee, so she didn't get to experience this feeling of never seeing someone again despite a part of you knowing they're alive. We all just assumed that Kenny died due to how we last saw him. With Christa, there's at least a 50/50 chance, and it's that sense of loss and concern which continues to run through the story until the end of the game or the next where we have to accept, just like Clem, we'll possibly never see Christa again.

I mean they did have a hint of where the other were going. As christa and clem were heading to Wellington that should of made the search slightly easier but still shit happens maybe christa had to turn back

Christa being written out of the story felt so forced, even more so than Omid. It honestly felt like they just made her disappear to have Clementine be alone in episode 1 for the first half without ever actually intending to bring her back. What makes it worse is that Clementine goes about season 2 mentioning her constantly and asking people if they've seen a woman named Christa and that she has to go look for her and after that she just gives up and Christa is never mentioned again.
Finally, before Telltale shut down and before season 4 was finished, Telltale literally said that they hadn't forgotten about Christa which makes me believes they were actually going to have her return in some form, even if they'd of tweeted something regarding her fate I would've been happy, excluding AJ, Christa was with Clementine for the most amount of time alone (16 months)
Edit: Regarding Winston's group not following Clementine. Ralph was never seen again because he and Mike were originally the same character in season 2. This explains why Mike in the game files has an unused model where his hoodie is up much like Ralph and it also explains his ear as Victor was trying to shoot Clementine and would end up hitting him. Mike would then appear in episode 3 again where Clementine would be skeptical of him throughout the episode. As for Victor, the only thing I have to go on as to why he didn't follow Clementine as that he was needed to reappear again at the end of the episode instead of being killed off with Winston.
Ralph and Victor are the 2 other people in Winston's group.

There’s a slight chance there will be a follow-up game/DLC on Christa’s story eventually. Just look how Lily ended up appearing in the last season - Telltale was real unpredictable by doin that. So since there’s a new Telltale business, they’ll be focusing on The Wolf Among Us 2, new Batman season, and possibly a new Walking Dead for Christa and maybe even Mike and Arvo. It’d be interesting to know if Christa ended up meeting up with Mike and Arvo (Bonnie too if she was alive in your playthrough).
we definitely need a new series (either game or comic) to show what happened to the other characters like, Howe’s (theory video coming soon), Christa and Mike/Arvo
Somehow its realistic that Christa and Clementine never found each other. Remember that Clem after the marauder's attack, she swam in the water for a very long time, and she was in a completely different place. Christa could go in different direction. Maybe she's alive, maybe she found a group. I think its good, how game show us, that it cant be always reunions (Kenny, Lilly)
Honestly I feel like christa survived the attack, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if she proceeded to die afterwards. After losing her husband, child, and now Clem AND being on her own with roughly no supplies, or wouldn’t surprise me if she decided to kill herself, or even just because of the lack of supplies she could have starved to death. Which would also make sense because we’ve seen a main character die in just about every way, but we haven’t seen one starve to death.
she might meet a group of ppl and continue her own life maybe they want to tell us that sometimes ppl disappear and never show up and they want us to feel the same as clementine like she is still doesn't has the answer. well I think that she still alive but I don't think she will show up again. cuz as I said they want to give us that feeling :) glad to see twd fans still remember the game. I miss the game so much :(

Yeah I definitely heard a gunshot when Clem sneaks away.
Maybe with the sneak option, she stole one of the guns from the guys, because they were distracted with Clem, and shot one and ran. The other guy didn’t shoot, but he just ran after her cuz he lost her, that’s why there was only one shot, she then snuck up on him while hiding and shot him while Clem was too far away to hear. I know she was injured but she still could’ve just ran to some bushes, crouched, and he lost her.

What also happened to Molly she was actually pretty cool she should’ve definitely been in Episode 5 and at least part of season 2 I feel Molly should’ve taken Janes place because Jane is a BAD Character
Yeah Molly was so cool. She actually might have died in Savannah since that hoard of walkers would be tough for her to sneak around even with the bells.
Apparently christa was originally supposed to have a role similar to what jane ended up having, where she would eventually come to bond with clem after omids death, and wouldve made it to the end like jane but it all got cut after the first script was discarded by bruenner (or brunner?) the CEO of the time of telltale, who made his own script for the second season, but it was so bad that hes since removed all traces of it out if embarrassment.
Telltales management were incredibly petty basically, and thats how we ended up with weird things like the russian subplot that lead nowhere, to luke not liking mike (because he was originally one of the bandits who had the gun and wanted to harm christa) and subsequently mikes cut death, they just didnt have enough time to cut it all properly.
I could go on too, theres alot more out there then i mentioned here.
I knew that there were a lot of problems during the production of season 2 but I didn’t know that the CEO wrote his own (embarrassing) script
@@Brekdon there was atleast 3 different scripts made for season 2 before they finalized it, first was a bit of a rough draft made by the people behind season 1, second was the brunner script, and the third one was the one where everything was incredibly dark, because we would apparently see how christa loses her baby and where she buried omid, and how she later grew to despise clem over her grief and eventually get over it and bond with clem, the story went along the same way, except clem now had someone who could back her up, a role jane later took on, howes hardware store was supposed to be a bloodbath at one point, with most of the side characters or background ones that show up being killed off, including that girls little sister and herself, with wyatte and the others from 400 days being the original russian group being lead by tavia and followed by some of the other determinent characters, which wouldve still lead to the gunfight.
eddie from 400 days was also supposed to make an appearance as arvo, as noted by the gun eddie had, which arvo now has, and the fact jane calls him a junkie, arvos like a skinny kid, but eddies a known user, even if it was just weed or whatever he did, as theres still many remnants of this cut content left in the game files, including animations, unused dialogue(though not voiced sometimes), and the fact that the game tracks choices that wouldnt make sense, like if you left eddie behind or not being tracked up until season 2 i believe, this all comes from a video i watched from incoldblood.

I’d love to know what happened to Bonnie , Mike and arvo but I presume at least one or two of them are dead due to having no car, supplies and the cold . 🤔

What really happened to her is that she was trying to run but they shot her because of that sound of gun shot
Season 4 ending choice should have been choosing between going with Christa , Going with Lilly, Going with your group , or taking AJ and going on your own

I just thought of this after seeing a top comment, the death of Omid and Christa's disappearance is so forcer just to get Clem on her own. First Omid, where tf did the random scavenger come from and why didn't he live after getting shot basically in the shoulder. Clem is like 12 and she got shot point-blank by a rifle and lived so why can't Omid live after a pistol shot from range. Secondly Christa, it looked likes Clem and her ran in the same direction so how do they not see each other at all, its hard to believe that Christa survived like 3 years he just gets killed by 3 random survivors. If you sneak away why wouldn't she try to fight back before she get stabbed.
JoxicAce well maybe Christa and clementine didn’t encounter any people within the 16 months together and that’s why she didn’t know how to handle people now as people change; and maybe the scavenger came from a different direction and saw clementine go into the bathroom and that’s why she went in there

She deserved AT LEAST another episode before being written off. Saying bye to her AND Omid back to back when they were the most solid characters in the series was just tragic.

Let's all be glad she's gone and stayed gone. Had she returned there is no doubt in my mind she would have be trying to kill Clementine. Christa had a similar personality to Lilly to a certain degree and Clementine didn't even do anything to her. Clementine caused Omids death and most likely caused Christa to miscarriage.

@@pearlkenz9346 Yeah at that particular moment she didn't want Clementine to die but if and big if she lived her mind would have gotten wrapped as time went on. In traditional society if you have a near death experience you aren't the same afterwards but in this series with the constant stress of almost dying every day on top of what other things are affecting Christa already... Yeah she could most definitely hold alot of contempt against Clementine.

there was a couple thuds before the gunshot, you hear her scream then the shot goes off. they probably hit her or tripped her up some way, the thud, & then she was executed. my guess
Actually if Christa got shot in the head we wouldn't of heard any noise as we know from Mariana's death in season 3 and in season 4 Marlons death. Along with other deaths like Carly in season 1 and many others.
When we last saw Kenny in season 1 before season 2 started, a lot of people speculated he was a goner because he was in a room full of walkers, but he made it out, there’s a decent chance that Christa is alive but she thinks Clem is dead at this point, I wonder if Christa will appear in the comics
Christa was one of my favorite characters in the series and I'm still so mad that they wrote her off like that. Omid and her child dying (as sad as it was) could've been a great way to develop her character even further. It never made sense to me why Clem had to start off every season by herself and why everyone died by the end of each season, even the TWD shows don't kill off characters to that extent.
Christa could've easily been a part of season 2 and maybe even season 3. I would've loved to see her become a parent figure for Sarah (another pointless death) after losing her kid and helping her become a survivor despite her mental illness. Depending on Clem's choices throughout the game, Christa would raise Sarah differently and her relationship with Clem would change too.
In my first gameplay, I actually tried to pick up the gun when clem was in wc but there wasn't any options to pick it up, GUYS REMEMBER FIRST RULE OF USING GUN IS DON'T LEAVING IT, IT CAN BE MURDER TOOL

The only hint we get that she might be dead was how emotional clementine said "she's gone" like she was trying not to cry
I think she's dead because whether or not you sneak away or distract them to run Christa is heard to fall like she tripped and then got shot and screams in pain before dying and she isn't with the bandits when we find them all dead later by the river
She could have gotten away by slipping past the raiders and walkers the way clementine did and maybe ended up alone
Christa didn't like cities and Wellington was the only go to at the time so she could have traveled alone the way Jane and eventually clementine had to,
I didn't really care for Christa, one she blamed clementine for omids death when it was THEIR decision to go into the other bathroom and leave clementine alone. Lee gave y'all one damn job and they tanked it for third trimester cuddles in an abandoned bathroom
In the river scene when Clem is looking at bodies you can see there is a body that looks like Christa but this isn't confirmed to be her

I've literally been in like two or three arguments with people who said that it wasn't her, but it literally LOOKS like her and is wearing HER CLOTHES.
In my mind, the men basically kept her as a hostage while looking for Clem, but Carver found them and killed them all at the river, including Christa.

I'm convinced that she's dead. If you run away, she's stabbed, if you distract, you can hear a blunt force sound affect with Christa grunting before a gunshot goes off.
I wish we had more information or something to let us know what really happened to her..Telltale is very frustrating.

I think christa died either way, in the distract the scavengers option u can hear he grunting like she is being beat up, then the gunshot. I don’t know many or know of many people who make noises after being shot, maybe a silent sigh as their final breathe but no more. That’s just what I think tho
I sometimes HATE it how the game treated Christa and Omid. Instead of Alvin and Rebecca, season 2 should have focused on Christa and Omid's baby which could have been named how Omid wanted; Omid Jr.. I never understood why did the developers think it was a good idea to kill two characters introduced in S1 in one fucking episode. I would really cared for their baby and it would have made more sense story-wise. Season 1 of this game series set the bar so god damn high, after Christa and Omid there hasn't been nearly as good or interesting characters. Them dying/disappearing in S2 would have not bugged me that much if it would've happened much later.
I don't know and the rest of season 2 she was never mentioned again I think the first time when I played she was mentioned a few times kind of

@Brekdon my only debate with that is if you chose to stay at wellington don't you think she would've tried to go there considering how much time passed passed between end of s2 & start of s3? I would think that'd b her mindset since clem is all she had left & promised Lee she & Omid would take care of her.

Столько косяков, обрывков и несостыковок, что противно даже порой было играть в это. Понимая что разработчики делали всё на от###сь. Совсем практически не обращаясь назад, к первоистоку. Свой суп варили, добавляя всё новые и новые ингредиенты ненужные, и пересаливали всё это.
Сколько можно было персонажей из прошлого сезона и 400 дней в него ввести. Расписать всё грамотно. Состыковать. Но некомпетентность к сожалению..
Неудивительно что чуть позже последовали массовые увольнения и студия развалилась.
Про третий сезон вообще молчу. Зашквар полнейший. Даже этот высер разбирать не хочется
4 сезон тоже разочаровал, но уже хоть чуть меньше, чем третий.
Интересных и запоминающихся героев после первого и второго сезона - по пальцам одной руки можно перечесть. Даже наверное и этого сделать трудно - Вайолет одна понравилась, и то чисто по внешке и ± поведению, так как я парень.
Первый сезон это шедевр, второй - более менее . Остальное всё - даже нет смысла проходить. Ощущение будто оригинальных разработчиков заменили обычными фанатами, которые до этого только на сайтах фанфики свои придумывали и писали , не совсем адекватные.
Вспомнить ещё комикс стоит о Клементине. Кто там его писал.. Такое убожество. И это, мол, официальное продолжение. Жесть

Well I wish Omid would of still be alive but instead he got shot by that mean nasty teenage girl if only Omid would of grab that gun in time or put something in the door to keep the door open he would grab the gun immediately and it wouldn't happen to got shot I wish they could rewrite that story line of the game and if Omid was still with Crista and Clementine in the woods cooking a wheezle and all of a sudden Crista went to get more fire wood to burn and Omid and Clementine heard talking and she got ambushed and Clementine and Omid saw Crista getting ambushed what if Omid jump in tryna save her? I bet things will change if the story line in the game were different and then maybe Clementine, Omid and Crista would of ran into and meet Pete and Luke and the rest of the family what would happen then?🤔👀 and oh what if Crista, Omid and Clementine seeing Kenny again it would be a big changes and surprises

She isn’t gonna return. In season 2, episode 1, when you’re looking at the river side at the dead bandits full of holes, you find her dead pale body next to one of theirs. It’s sad.
