But the best rooftop is not of a hotel or cocktail bar but of SNCFC ( Stavros Niarchos Cultural Foundation Center) and definitely the cafes there are actually significantly cheaper. You can see the best part of Athens, the sea, Faliro bay, Castella Hill of Pireaus and a part of Athenian Riviera. You have to use an installed Telescope there to see the Parthenon and Acropolis there cause it's over 4-5 Kms away.

I think Greeks would enjoy more Norwegian and Swedish but for a broader acceptance you need English as you already know.🙂I have seen the comments, nobody mentioned the rooftop,of the Acropolis Museum! Also I like Beyond the Horizon,Lokali and of course BIOS ❤️which probably has the best view of Acropolis! Best cocktails? Retire!

If you are looking for a really great rooftop then head to Castella in Piraeus and on top of it search for taverna-restaurant RIGAS (ΡΗΓΑΣ) and if the weather is good definitely head for a table on its rooftop. It's the absolutely best view of in Pireas where you can admire the whole Faliro Bay most of Athens and it's Riviera. Αnd of course I have visited this place multiple times and eaten there in the summer. There is also another restaurant there named Ladopitta which serves only meat and not on plates but on a huge piece of special paper by that name (Λαδοπιττα) which is above the Bowling Center of Piraeus and it's terrace has about the same view. It's perfect even in winter if the weather is chilly.
