Just graduated High School where I used to learn about Musical Theatre every day, and now I’m seriously lacking in new info. Thanks for bringing me a bit of musicals to help me get started!
I just did elf jr since we were a school we didn't have our own stage so we didn't make it snow but the community theater did elf in 2015 what they did is they got with feathers pices of paper ect and rigged it up on a set puces then someone grabbed it and dumped it (they where behind the set pice)
I never would have thought of feathers, BUT that might be the most brilliant idea ever because they would float down just like snow! I would be a little concerned about actors slipping... but as long as you don't do a big dance number directly after the feathers falling, it may be okay, but I LOVE this idea! Thanks for sharing! What is the next show you have coming up?
My community theatre dropped feathers into the audience and pieces of paper as snow during the show Honk! It was actually a really cool effect and we would always tell people to sit in the third row…
