I wonder why it takes a month to delete it. Do you know? Most things are immediate.
From my understanding, it is immediate. Everytime I have deleted an Instagram account, it said it would be deleted on the day I initiated the account deletion.

It's weird. From what I've read, the account is instantly deleted but not fully removed from the platforms servers until a month later.

Yeah, they really don't want you to delete the account from their platform. Sometimes, depending on the size of the account, it will take longer to delete. I for one think this is just there way of hoping you will change your mind.

If I have multiple accounts all on the same email and password and want to delete one will it delete all of them because how would it know to delete the pacific one?

Hi! I deleted one of my instagram accounts today using this method and I got an email from instagram afterwards stating that I have today to change my mind before it is actually deleted. It said that if I wanted to keep my account then I need to let them know. I got scared that deleting this account of mine would somehow delete my main instagram that I don't want deleted, so on that email they sent me I clicked the button "keep account." After clicking that it said that my account has been reactivated already. Does this mean nothing will be deleted? Please help!
Do you have all your Instagram accounts under the same login email address? If so, I believe it will delete ALL accounts associated with that email address.

I recently made a form to delete my account for safety reasons . It said my account will be deleted in June . But thinking better , I would like to have this account . I logged back in and everything . Is my account going to be deleted still or not anymore ?
I am not entirely sure but I think if you go through the deletion process and you log back in, it will stop the pending deletion. I may be wrong about that though. I would do some more research or reach out to Instagram and ask via customer support.

Why can't you recover it? You should be able to. You will need your password to delete the account.

Did you use the method I describe in the video? Sometimes it can take up to 30 days to delete it permanently from their servers.

It can take a month or so before Instagram totally removes your account from their servers.

I believe once your account is permanently deleted that everything included messages are deleted.
