The "rain down" part brings me back to 2018 when I saw Radiohead live for the first time in Bogotá, Colombia. It started raining when they were playing this specific part, it was one of the most magical moments in my life.
I was wondering why he wants it to rain down, I love the rain because everyone stays indoors and I can walk about alone lol, but not sure what HE means... :)

The paranoia is obvious in the first verse, as a result of all that anger and disappointment. So, he asked God for some divine comfort to get rid of (the unborn chicken voices in his head). But, he didn’t get that from God, so he’s mocking him in the “God loves his children” line.
Started listening at 2001, No youtube, no google video or anything like that on these days... It is late 2017, i am still listening that song. I'm from Turkey.. If i will have a kid, he/she will listen that song surely... That's importance of sincere music when the song is a legend one...

Nowadays most people listen to pop/rap and that type of music so bands like radiohead don't have the amount of fans and recognition they deserve compared to rappers or pop bands, but i think radiohead has a pretty good fanbase.

I'm not entirely sure how an experimental band like Radiohead has managed to sustain itself in mainstream media, but it's such a shame. They are the only band I can think of spare bands like Muse (who have somewhat digressed). Why can't bands like Porcupine Tree and The Mars Volta hit the Charts?

Radiohead aren't underrated at all, every one knows they are the best, some times they don't get as much credit as they deserve but that's only from people who either don't know them or don't appreciate music
I hear this one many years ago from somebody "who needs drugs when you got radiohead", 5-7 years later i found myself that so-callrd radioheader, nothing but their music gave me all the spectre, not only melancholy. But now i do believe their're a lil bit depressed but its ok, i can put ip up with it for another radiohead kick. Thom, on Fridays wouldnt have become so widespread even with the same music. People either hater or love the title so much that its not even funny. As a linguiat i can say - the title was waiting for ok computer. That kind of music has never been popular before. So professional they are from any side (web-site, music, philosophy and even gigs perfomance except festivals). Too much overempressed people made them really tired. I guess we wont see another album. Thoms probably hate most of the audience and ita fine. They deserve better. Make an acoustic album, like that electro idm shit which i dont like but using only acoustic guitar tones and drums. Acoustic techno for post post modern society! Thats rite, radioheads atill kicking!!! Fuck if only i knew it hit so clever!

This is the greatest song ever written. The solo singing part is pure music. Beautiful
