Couple aerospace tips for the MotoXperts shop, switch out all their steel picks, punches, and pry bars with brass and/or composite. Induction heaters are preferred than torches for heating stuff up where applicable. Finally, soft jaws are a great start, but flat ones can still crush tubing out of round when hammering on stuff. Teflon or phenolic jaws with cutouts on a pivoting vice are much less likely to dent casings. Keep up the excellent work!
Dude! Thank you! This series has put out some incredible information. And some AWESOME eye candy. I had to sell my bike because life happens. But Im on ksl daily waiting for the right bike! The market is just nuts right now! I hope people can see how valuable your contributions are. And just how much time money and effort goes into this.
Thank you for the feedback my dude! It makes me super happy to know you and others are finding value from the videos, that is the goal. I learned so much myself it was insane. I try to share with others what I would want to know. But good luck on the new bike search! The prices right now are crazyy but keep searching KSL on the daily and something should come along for sure in your price range, especially with the season just starting.
@@cannonmead2766 not sure how much work you're trying to do, or what you're looking for, but I just found a pretty beat up 99 KX250 on FB Market place in Wendell, ID, $500.
Great video! I could watch videos like these all day long LOL I’m getting ready to tear apart an RM 125, I just may have to send the suspension out to the Moto experts. Look forward to the next video.
Thanks Jerry! It's so fascinating to watch and learn for these videos, especially from a true professional. Some much insight you gain. Good luck on the RM125 tear down, I may have to do one in the future as well ;). But let Camaron know you saw this video and spoke with me when you talk to them about your suspension. They are really cool dudes, if they can make it work, that's awesome! Thanks for watching. Keep me posted on your build too!
Right on my dude, thanks for the feedback! Let Camaron know you saw this video and spoke with me when you reach out to them about your suspension. Good stuff, let me know if I can help in any way!
Thanks Gus! It was really eye opening to hear how much more goes into suspension rebuilds than meets the eye. I wish I knew all of this information the first time around when I rebuilt this stuff. I appreciate the feedback as well!
Glad to provide the insight Colin! Kevin really crushes it with the suspension. So pumped to try it out. Keep you posted. Stop into the shop next time you're through that area. Cool dudes for sure!
Great video. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 01 Yamaha yz426f and was just going to rebuild the suspension myself as I don't want to spend 1-2g's more on a 20 year old bike but now I'm contemplating sending it out. Curious as to how much a basic rebuild with gold valves would cost.
Right on! Especially with something that old, it's hard to know what to look for that might be damaged that us average folk don't know about lol. Hit up The MotoXperts and let them know I sent you for a free quote! Doesn't hurt to find out
@@GregHitchko I learned some things just the video was different to what I expected based on the title. I guess the title worked to get my viewing though!
Don’t believe the hype ! Put proper springs on, set the sag, grease the needle bearings and learn your clickers. You DONT need your suspension done. Don’t believe them.

Damn that was probs the most informative suspension video I have seen, wish there was more like this! A++
Glad to see there’s great suspension shops out there. There are hacks out there but these guys do it right and they’re not afraid to show it.
Full transparency goes a long way for sure! Do it the right way first and you won’t have to do it a second time around 👍🏼💨💨
@@GregHitchko amen to that 👍
superb informations, a joice to watch: real handcraft and know how. thank you all!
Glad you enjoyed brother! Thanks for watching

Anytime! Glad you found the video valuable dude. Ton of good stuff in there
So much to these suspensions, I have messed some of it up myself and I work on German cars for a living 😅 gotta love it though
So much to them but i enjoy it I must say!

Hope you can take something away from it Stephen, thanks for the feedback!
Hi, Greg can you please investigate where can I order That spring compressor?, my dad has a shop and that tool can be really useful for him
And also that drill that he uses for removing the shock nut, the one that he drilled in the video
No doubt, I will ask them for you my dude!
@@GregHitchko awesome thanks 🙏🏼
@@GregHitchko hey, could you get the info?
Enjoyed that!
So satisfying eh?? And so much knowledge dropped. Thanks for the feedback on that type of video, stoked you enjoyed!
I had no idea there was a suspension shop in the Wasatch valley! Thanks Greg

does anyone sell that suspension oil drain thing on the end of the bench or do you have to custom make it
Pretty sure it was custom made! It's a sick set up eh?
Those headlights at 5:52 are awesome, can anyone tell me where to find them?
Check out Baha Designs! They might be the company that makes them 👍🏼
