My wife has to have her cats. I told her no new curtains and no new furniture. Bought all furniture used on FB two years ago when we bought the house. The cats have destroyed the corners. I asked her what about the new Thai house and she said we will build a little house for the cats to live in 555. And yes we will be shipping our 7 cats to Thailand when we move to join the 15+ Thai cats. One battle I won't win 555
Hi Mate, with your fish pond try doing a PH test. The concrete pot may be sending the water very alkaline which in turn will slowly kill off your plants.
I did that, it is 8.2. a bit high but not crazy. The large dirt pond tested the same. I tested my softened water and it is 7.3 so maybe just use that but concerned about lake of nutrients. If the sun lamp does not work I will be buying some buffer.
I had a huge snake in my outside bathroom, got in from sugar cain via drain ! I closed the door very quickly and next time I checked, he was gone , same way. I keep the drain cover on now all the time with a brick on top ! 😅

They were referring to the game as "footie" so maybe that is what it. Game was called "The Grand Final". I have lilies in the new pot at the front now, 4-5 hours direct sun. The light for the other has arrived and will be in place by the end of today. I will figure it out sooner or later. Thanks Mike

If I may say… good decision regarding the cat. I’m a dog type of a guy but have always loved my own cats over the years. Mine were always mostly outdoor cats but would come in about 1/3+/- of the time. My mom’s cats were always indoor cats and their last she did have declawed, I didn’t agree, but then I wasn’t around when she had it done… mine never were. totally agree with you when it comes those fricken litter boxes!!! Let me throw you my two cents when it comes to reviews… 5 are nice but what I really wanna read are the 3’s. I always feel like the 5’s can be easily manipulated (not all but many) and the 1’s by customers with unrealistic expectations, box had a hole from shipping or maybe even the competition. 3’s pretty much tell me what I wanna know… The good along with the bad. Always appreciate the good but as long as I understand what the bad’s are… Well then, I feel like I’ve made a fairly informed decision. And I agree… I think you’ll have a better go with kittens. Kind of like bringing a dog home from the pound… You never quite know what it has experienced and that can make them unpredictable. We have caught 6 cats in two months on our property. My brother in law takes them several kilometers away so they can enjoy their new village and begin taking shits on other people`s property. CATS: A sensitive subject! I just finished editing a video with the sign translation, Keep Out, or face legal action, or something on that line. Sign has been there for 10 months, put up right before construction started.

The other thing about Discus is they are from South America and they like very soft and slightly acidic water - the complete opposite of what my Africans like

You can also trim the nails like you do with yours, we do that and never have problem with curtains, just do that every week.
