I love watching your podcast. Just to add to the narrative that that has been on wife burning is fake news spread by missionaries of India back then but also the truth there have 43 recorded cases of this as such and putting on the entire Hindu community is just to show Hindus in bad light we have suffered 1000 years of brutal Islamic conquest and 300 years of colonisation and yet we survived and that the victory of the Hindu community and this story should be told for the world to know

What I love about Sunil is that he uses the term 'we' when talking about the good and bad parts of british history.
Many non ethnic british people will use the term 'we' when they want the benefits and good history, but other ethnic brits when it comes to the bad side of british history.
If you are british then you have to be part of the good and the bad.

If someone is on benefits as a result of poor physical health or a serious mental health condition then I don’t see the problem. One amazing thing about our nation is that we take care of one another. However, if it’s simply a religious belief - that’s not an acceptable reason and causes harm to those that truly need it.

They like to exploit the western welfare and they are also lazy and most importantly their religion don't allow them to work . If one is practicing that religion they are obliged to follow it. And that prevents them from working. The only work they are allowed to do as per their religion is bringing up children ( which they do in double numbers . Lol ) and cooking n house chores and be at service to men on bed.

I grew up in Birmingham in the 70's and have been very proud of it being a multi cultural city. Caribbean , Indian Hindu, Sikh, etc l believe multi culturalism does work.
The problem we have now is Islamic dominance on mass that do not adapt to mulitculturalism or respect western values. I am not at home or safe in my home city anymore. We should be able to discuss the reality of this disturbing issue of Islam and the disrespect towards women and the push for sharia law. The present government and media are in denial of the extent of the problem and deem us as far right. My family are mixed race I am hardly far right. The need for outbreeding was recognised millennia ago. For reasons of creating bonds for social stability, and also because of the damage caused by inbreeding, tribes would exchange females. Those that did not were the losers. Having healthy offspring was of paramount importance in an age before medicine.
What causes inbreeding? Religio-cultural issues. Particularly the religion-driven cultural features. Restrictions on marrying outside the cult. This is successful for the cult as it propagates across generations as a mind virus, but what is good for the mind virus has nothing to do with what is good for the human hosts thereof, ie the mind virus is not a conscious being with any interest in their wellbeing, it is just a collection of mental concepts which pass between generations with a high degree of fidelity (just as DNA does).
And so inbreeding can become a part of that collection of mental concepts, and in the long term, it can cause the community embracing it to falter. But in the modern world we have medicine, so medical interventions can extend that period of faltering, but not prevent it.

They used to intergrate, while keeping traditions at home. All immigrants have done that. From the 19th century onwards, immigrants have come for a better life and worked hard to overcome the poverty they escaped. Jews, Hindus, and Muslims, people from all over the world. There was always a small minority in each group that has lived a very traditional way of life, bit they still obeyed the laws. What happened to then? What happened to the immigrants from the commonwealth in the 50s and 60s, the people from Asia and India that came and worked hard and adopted the local culture? The people that gave us Frank Bruno, Floella Benjamin and others. Just as British as anyone else in this country .

My grand parents came here after the Biafra war in Nigeria, my grandfather joined the British army my grandmother became a nurse, they initially faced a lot of challenges including racism but they were determined to fit and and eventually did. The immigrants coming here now do not want to fit in, they make no effort what so ever because for over 30 years certain immigrant groups have self segregated and formed ghettos so they have no incentives to fit in with the dominant White English society.

We have the same problem in Austraia. Don't get me wrong, I have met loads of immigrants who believe that they should fit into our holding their beliefs and culture at home.
I personally don't care what your religion is, or anything else for that matter, but when you interact with society, you should conform.
That doesn't mean you can't try and better the society and voice your different ideas, but No means No.
My partner has parents come to their work and demand that she makes their kids pray and do other things in line with their religion, and then they demand we don't follow our own. Not having Christmas decorations for example.
Luckily they are told that this isn't the way it works, and that they are welcome to come in when needed and do all those things with their kids in private. It's just the attitude that's disgusting.
If you don't like how a place works, then don't go there. It's so unbelievable arrogant.

I also believe, to be fair, that we need to consider the systems in place that colonialism replaced. I'm fairly certain that most people found little difference living under the colonial system compared to the local despots that ruled before. Before anybody claims self-determination, there wasn't much self-determination in the feudal or tribal systems that Britain replaced. I'm also not suggesting that colonialism itself was good; I am suggesting that replacing the boot on your neck with a different boot is a morally neutral act. Can one really say it's so much worse to be ruled by a foreign queen than by a local king?
I'm against oppression, and I believe people should have self-determination and while colonialism was certainly unjust and exploitive, it often laid the groundwork for systems of governance that allowed nations to eventually achieve self-rule.

With all the talk of Britain being built on slavery...we've forgotten that it actually, physically built by the British working classes. Most lived in poverty in the shadow of the workhouse. Children had to go through the winter without shoes. When will the post-industrial areas which have been thrown to the wolves by successive governments receive reparations? Or is a broken social security system another word for reparations? A system that leaves the great unwashed without a voice.

How many young people can access The corridors she took on, without being thrown out on their ear. I live in Toronto (Canada) and we are very proud of our multi-cultural city. There are more languages spoken in Toronto than any other city in the world. This worked because all cultures adopted Canadian values which include the values of equality for all (men, women, race, sexual orientation etc.) , freedom of religion or lack there of, freedom of speech and expressing opinions, individualism, liberty, democracy and the peaceful transfer of power, etc. Today, some people feel cultural values must supersede our common, societal values even if they conflict with our societal values. This is the cause of our problems today. We must decide as a society which values we want, promote those values and create immigration policies that favour people who are willing and able to follow those values. If this happens we can indeed be a multi-cultural society. We cannot thrive as a society if we allow multi-value- ism.

Multi-cultural societies will not work, especially in the West. Multi-ethnic/racial societies, on the other hand, can work. Some cultures practice FGM, child marriage, wife-beating, honour ki11ing, finger removal as a sign of grief, animal and child s@crifice, eating of dogs/cats etc. Should we allow those to practice their culture in our society? After all, multi-cultural means acceptance of another's culture within society's whole. People who are not willing to give up their cultural practices do not belong in the West. After all, if they wanted to continue those practices, why did they move to a society where those cultural practices are not accepted, or clash? Why not stay where they _are_ accepted? It makes no sense. And it makes no sense to move to another's society and culture, and demand and try and force that society and culture to accept them and their ways. No. Just no. If I wanted to live within a Pakistani community, I would move to Pakistan. If I wanted to live in an Islamic caliphate, I would move to an Islamic caliphate.

@@db7084 Clearly you did not read or understand the nuance of what I was saying. What you are describing is a conflict in values. Values drive behaviors. I said only when society agrees on shared values can multi-culturalism work. You said "After all, multi-cultural means acceptance of another's culture within society's whole" Yes, when shared values are followed by all ("within society's whole") then we can accept any cultural behavior because there is an implication that so long as any cultural behavior does not contradict our shared value it will be accepted. I agree with those unacceptable things that you do not want practiced in your society. These things that are unacceptable follow a different set of values that do not espouse or want (that was my point about shared values) and yes anyone who still wants to follow those values can stay where they are and stay away. Curious.... What is the difference between multi-cultural versus multi-ethnic/racial?

It wont be as bad for us as it was for them before we act ?, he said about Denmark. He clearly do not know what he is talking about. Just for reference, as of the last count on 1. December 2023, there were only 12 ghetto parallel society areas in total in Denmark (defined as an area with more than 1,000 people and over 50% of residents being immigrants or descendants of “non-Western countries) in compare with 28 ghetto areas back in 2019.
There are also only 14 asylum camps in total in Denmark today, while the number was as high as 98 in 2015 less than 10 years ago. Denmark has opt-out's regarding the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers in the EU, and have also not accepted their absolute UN "mandatory" share of minimum of 500 resettlement refugees per year since 2015. So during the last 7 years, only 235 quota refugees have arrived in total, coming from refugee camps in Rwanda and only 1 resettlement refugee was granted a permit in 2023.
It's could seem kind of of crazy that there can be so much of a gap and difference between the media and old Socialist parties in Denmark, in compare with especially neighboring countries like Sweden + the UK, but the difference can be traced back to the Danish Muhammed cartoon riots of 2006 in the Middle East, with burning Danish flags and embassies, with following terror attacks, that was the eye-opener that changed everything in Danish immigration and refugee politics.

Muslims who feel as Jinnah did should emigrate to Pakistan just as their parents who did not feel as Jinnah did immigrated to Britain. We should pander to them no longer.

Same, I operate a wide- range of Investments with help from My Financial Adviser. My advice is to get a professional who will help you, plan and enhance your management skills. For the record, working with Michael Wayne, has been an amazing experience.
