It's a common question you'll hear when Steven Universe is discussed: how were Rose and Pearl able to keep Rose's secret identity a secret if the Crystal Gems were always fusing with each other? Steven Universe showed us that fusions know what their components know after all, and Steven Universe also showed us that their components know what their fusions know.
Except, that's not entirely true. Steven Universe isn't going to make a simple mistake like that with something as crucial as fusion, and if you pay attention you'll see that it's always been quite clear about how fusions' memories work.

what i'm wondering is if rose quartz actually fused with the other gems other than pearl. rainbow quartz 2.0 is the only of the steven-gem jusions that has a "2.0" in their name as rose and pearl have fused. tho i may just not have the info.
