Too many haters. Too many hateful comments. The video was all about the kids creativity. Stupid people can't even realize that. Sir thank you very much for your service. Your kid is very creative he's a young genius
Black Bear I agree! I have stopped looking at most replies for a long time. I used to be upset by all the haters as well! I can't figure them out and have come to realize that all they can do is discourage my son. I have taught my son to use my tools safely. He asked if he could try to build something while I was gone for the weekend and my wife was home. He did this 100% on his own and way before he even had a cellphone or access to the internet. He was in 6th grade. I wouldn't have cared if it didn't even get off the ground! He was using his imagination, creativity, and engineering skills before he even knew what engineering was! He was not happy with the results and asked me if I had any ideas how he could make it better. I gave him a couple thoughts I had and he ran with it and improved it for his second attempt. Unfortunately he then tried to use it to lift some heavy logs in the woods and broke it. Then he wanted me to buy a welder so he can make it even stronger. I wish I could afford one because there are so many things that he could try and I would like to learn to use it with him! Thanks for all the positive comments over the years from everyone!
he gets an A for effort.... id rather have my son out building things with trial and error, than inside playing video games all damn day .... good job kid
I love it totally thinking out of the box on that one. Your son has a bright future in front of him and I recon a very proud dad also. Keep up the good work.
That's just awesome! Pretty dang clever to be so young. Looks like he could put just a couple brackets on the front side of that thing and really be in buissines! Great job bud!
If you make it out of square steel tubing or solid steel beams, with a stronger winch. Mount it a bit better, to the utilities racks. It could be used like a full size forklift. Pretty neat.
Good job.. If you look at the side view, there is a triangular gap between the lift and the front bumper.. If you make a wooden 'wedge' where the triangle becomes more than 90 degrees, when you activate the winch, your forklift will 'lean' towards the vehicle, just like a real forklift would.. Next, start looking underneath wooden kitchen/dining tables. Older, well constructed ones that you can add extra leafs in had a wooden sliding mechanism. By building something similar to the shape of your current lift, and by stretching the winch cable up and over the table's slide mechanism, you can stack pallets on top of each other..
reminds me of me when I was that age, and about 45 yrs later I still do the same thing. wander how many people thought Bill Gates was just a dreamer. Great job.
WITH AWESOME FATHERING COMES FORTH ONE AWESOME CHILD. STANDING👏🕴 OVATION 🕴👏 TO YOU GENTLEMEN. LOOK FORWARD TO THE FINAL RENDERING OF THE WHOLE PROJECT.
Dad says they don't have the money for a forklift, so son uses his brain and builds one!! If I was Dad I'd start thinking of things a want that can't afford tell your son about it before you leave for the weekend.😏 You may get things you never knew you could afford. GOOD VIDEO!!!
Great attempt but if wanted here are some things you could do to make it better. 1. Make it out of steel. Two Make a sliding mechanism to slide to forks up and down. I made mine for about 300 bucks for my ATV with some steel from the scrap yard, 2 60 dollar 2500 pound winches from harbor freight(Might not be the best but I have had them for over a year and they still work great), and some casters from harbor freight to take the weight off of the front of the atv. I also used metal sphere I bought off ebay for the sliding mech. Mine is not the best and as far as weight goes can not hold much(Maybe 1000 pounds at most and even then it does not work as good as something only a few hundred pounds) but it gets the job I need it to do done.
Super job!! Now think about a chain with an adjuster to tie the font shocks together, so they don't compress with the load. You are an ideas man kid!! Well done
Tell 20 teenagers of today to go and build a homemade forklift all by yourself... And I guarantee only one or two will be able to do it! Who are those two? The ones with an engineering type mind! Give that boy a full engineering scholarship at the engineering school of his choice. Forklift today... Space shuttle tomorrow!
teach him to weld give him $50-$100 send him to a scrap yard and he'll have some think that will work better wood is great for building prototypes now he just need to build it make an upside down T and hook that to the front A arms of the four wheeler and make the forks slide up a metal center beam with a pulley at the top to the winch not sure how old he is but if you teach him to weld grind and use a torch he will be set for life
Good Job, this makes me proud of YOU, , this is what using your brain is all about, not just there to keep your ears apart, in time you will find refinements, and use different materials, , but YOU have a great start, and the mind to make it work.!!!
If you guys have nothing better to do than to mock a kid on here who is willing to go out and build something to make is job easier than to sit around mocking other people on TH-cam like yourselves then maybe you should glue a mirror to your computer screen and phone screen so when you look at it to mock some one you will be mocking your self. And to the kid great job the shows that you are creative enough and have learned the concept "work smarter not harder" and that is a very good concept to learn for the farm or any job for that matter why work hard when you can build something to do the work for you
Wow, have a engineer help you make it out of metal and put a patent on it and you're in the money buddy. Great ideal bud. Thanks for the video buddy, thumbs up.
William Santiago it would be way too heavy and wouldn’t be able to hold anything you can see in this video already the back tires are about to come off the ground
Great job, considering most American men and boys under 40 don't know how to change the oil in their cars! However... couldn't the 2 gas cans just have as easily fit on the back seat?
damn when i was i kid we couldn't even afford wood. let alone a 4 wheeler. im not joking either. but i was fixing dvd players and stuff as we couldn't afford to get much new.. i couldn't afford to be creative. i wanted to build so many things but only had broken trash to use.
Hayden Mulkey lmao you idiot. He’s using a chain wrapped over plastic, connected to foot rests and wrapped around wood. Plus the shocks can’t handle shit or the front suspension. That whole machine would break if he attempted to use any power from that winch to lift any more than 200 pounds
Two or three inch lift on the from little taller tire just all on the from back sits nice and high do that to the from kid I think you got it from their. #sharktank 🤘🤙👍

Good thinking, now you need a stick welder and some old bed frames, and let the games begin.
Your son is a genius. That is awesome.
Teach this kid to weld and the sky is the limit, way to go bud.
Only lifting about 4 inches off the ground doesn't do much use but the kid definitely had the right idea
it would help if the wood wasn't so flexible. or at least reinforced better.
Very creative mind. Great work young man.
he gets an A for effort.... id rather have my son out building things with trial and error, than inside playing video games all damn day .... good job kid
Awesome. I bet he would still like to have one even 7 years later lol
Very neat
Very smart young man...just the thought of putting together a contraption like he did... Great job youngster!
I love it totally thinking out of the box on that one. Your son has a bright future in front of him and I recon a very proud dad also. Keep up the good work.
Great job Ryan, I love your creativity. Keep up the problem solving ideas they are valuable lessons that last a lifetime.
Young master engineer in the making. 👍 👍
Not bad buddy. Nice to see a young person solving problems instead of asking others to do it for them.
That's just awesome! Pretty dang clever to be so young. Looks like he could put just a couple brackets on the front side of that thing and really be in buissines! Great job bud!

Good job. You will get better.

Nice job. I like it. well done.
good job young man don't you listen to the naysayers keep it up
Nice Job!!! Great to see kids doing something useful and creative other than playing on iPads and phones. Best wishes to you buddy!
This kid is going places... Nice job
Congratulations, very smart guy!
Your son has a good imagination
Nice work man.
Very smart kid keep your brain working u can do anything u put your mind to

Ive seen a lot worse designs. It works. Well done mate.👍🇦🇺

pretty ingenius if you ask me! Love It!! Love You Ryan Great Job!!!!
thank you!
love u too!
good effort young man. now he just needs a welder so he can make some stronger tynes.
Smart kid. Maybe you should keep him?
🤣 I will!
Good job!!!
Lol idk y he needed/wanted a forklift but this is awesome
Nice work! Keep at it and you'll end up with a forklift that can lift anything you want. Ignore the haters with their negative comments.
Great job kid!
Awsome
good job young man.
He is smart! I bet he can make a great one from steel
Very cool just a few modifications and it will be stronger n work better!
This is awesome but how durable is it?
Man his dad did a good job
Super job!! Now think about a chain with an adjuster to tie the font shocks together, so they don't compress with the load. You are an ideas man kid!! Well done
Use the front rack then in a swivel hook so you can lift higher and more weight
Beautiful. God bless y'all
I'm impressed!

More like a pallet jack than a forklift but still super cool.
The contraption is only as strong as the wood those chains are attached too.
So if he run the winch cable over the front rack and cam down depending on the weight of the pallet he could go a little high right
But yes great job
Cool now make it out of aluminum then run the rail to the rearend so you so your weight will spread to the whole four wheeler
great video
Good Job, this makes me proud of YOU, , this is what using your brain is all about, not just there to keep your ears apart, in time you will find refinements, and use different materials, , but YOU have a great start, and the mind to make it work.!!!
Ben Scoles people like you make the world an enjoyable place
Great job

already existed from many years ago , i see is some company here in Washington state , USA, selling but no idea how much
*applause * nice!
great
AWESOME!!
Your son reminds me so much of my son..
Always making things like this!!
Good stuff.
Great job, considering most American men and boys under 40 don't know how to change the oil in their cars!
However... couldn't the 2 gas cans just have as easily fit on the back seat?
sdas7327 OR JUST WALK THEM..LMAO
just for show
seriously?!?! it's just a demo of how the thing works!
Hats off to a creative young mind. Its nice to see a kid putting his energy into something positive.
sdas7327 yeah. Idk how to change oil in a car because I drive a truck.
Cool but that four wheeler need a tune up it runs horrible and misfires at an idle
DUDE WHAT SHOE SIZE IS YOUR SON? BIG BOOTS!
😂💀💀
Smart thing to do
Good job
damn when i was i kid we couldn't even afford wood. let alone a 4 wheeler. im not joking either.
but i was fixing dvd players and stuff as we couldn't afford to get much new..
i couldn't afford to be creative. i wanted to build so many things but only had broken trash to use.
Well if you can't buy it make it haha.
Mabey if he put more wheight at the back be could have it more of the ground
This is ingenious. There's a creator
BhutuPhoto Uplink I take it your not mechanically inclined?
BhutuPhoto Uplink kdh
very good :)
Smart
great job kid ...
I'm better off doing it by hand.. LMFAO.
Goat
wood??
🤘🏻
It'll fail after a week...but good idea
Cool but it's wood and not strong enough 😂
Luxxy he prolly wont be lifting stuff heavy enough to break the wood
I wanna see tha "forklift" lift 200 pounds 😂
luis quadlife he's running a 2500 lb. winch, I'm sure. Better luck next time bud.
Get da f out 😂😂😂
That’s wood it cannot carry 200 pounds
Hayden Mulkey lmao you idiot. He’s using a chain wrapped over plastic, connected to foot rests and wrapped around wood. Plus the shocks can’t handle shit or the front suspension. That whole machine would break if he attempted to use any power from that winch to lift any more than 200 pounds
michelle macdonald LMAOO!😂
Might need some Wait in the back. 😂
Get em a stick welder
Yep, I believe I saw this on The Red Green show. Of course he used duct tape.
If he cant lift 2 gas cans... Sell the quad and but a weight lifting station....this is coming from a 13 year old😑
Never knew I needed a forklift just to carry two gas cans and anyone can build this son
Why did he even want a forklift
smart kid
better patient that!
IRAQARMYVET WHAT KIND OF COMBAT BOOTS THEY LOOK BRAND NEW TO ME
Lifts about 4 inches
oh more like 2 inches
😂😂
wow it lifts 3 inches
Get a wild hare Atv front end loader
Damn only 4grand, good call 🙄
@@erikdale9145 good point
Uncle red vibes
Carry two gas cans or... well carry them
Two or three inch lift on the from little taller tire just all on the from back sits nice and high do that to the from kid I think you got it from their. #sharktank 🤘🤙👍
Front
Good idea, that's until you break the plastics on your quad.
Red Green did it better with a Dodge K car an extension ladder and a pair of cross country skies.
