      I feel that the judge trusted Dr Smith and the hospital staff too much! There’s just too many people with a lot of power who think that they can act like they’re God. Beata ended her life in order to save her daughter’s. She couldn’t even hug her sick baby girl in court 😢😢🤬🤬🤬😱! This story is sooooo heartbreaking. May justice be served. Beata seemed to be one hell of a mother!! All her actions showed how deep her love was for her children and husband ❤. The ultimate sacrifice was to end her life in order to save Maya’s.

I forget exactly which year, but I believe it was 1995 plus or minus 1-2 years. the NIH had on the board, 39 veterinarians, and only 3 OBGYNS. women have been excluded from medical studies in the US for most of our history and most studies used in diagnosis of major illnesses like heart diseases were done using NO WOMEN (AFAB). they have even done studies on AFAB ONLY DISEASES LIKE CERVICAL CANCER WITH AMAB MEN ONLY!!! Bob Kowalski, has a gentle and loving soul. His mother raised her children well, to help other's, to have compassion and empathy, kindnesses and love. I cried along with him, as he described his own experince, of his brother's ( Jack) family. The wound is so deep, of what the Kowalski family has been through, the pain and grief is enormous, healing, there is no healing with Beata gone. A tragedy which didn't need to happen, lives turned upside down. Everyone who took part in such evilness towards the family and extended family must face consequences. They have no remorse, no concious, hearts of stone, incapable of comprehending what it's like to have empathy, compassion and understanding. I hope and pray, from God above, the evil are stopped. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

    During the plandemic, my daughter pediatrician cold called me to schedule an unnecessary follow up appointment, i think to recover from the absence of appointments when they had to shut down. I asked them to let me know how much the appt would cost as I was laid off (due to covid) and was budgeting. The next call I got, unbeknownst to me was from child protective services. I thought she was calling from the billing department after about 45 minutes of "chatting" about how my daughter is doing with all the changes etc.. i asked how much the appt was going to cost and she then let me know there was a misunderstanding and she was calling from CPS and she will report back to the Dr that she is "not needed". I was FLOORED. I never took my daughter back.
    Parents, don't continue to allow your rights to be taken from you. Just because someone has a medical degree does not mean they KNOW what is best for your children.

I'd like to ask the judge, how much does he know about CRTS? There are many judges who aren't knowledgeable on many subjects and therefore, make life saving errors. If I was on jury duty and a judge told me to dismiss the question, after a witness started to speak, I'm not going to. I wish, a jury member, would ask the question of the witness. What's the sense of having a jury, if you aren't allowed to hear everything. 🤔

      Well I agree with you but I definitely felt that she should have listened to her husband and her attorneys…. She was just trying to make sure her daughter wasn’t in pain but she came across as a little too aggressive with the nurses and they had already formed a negative opinion of her … she didn’t help the situation by continuing to question the Drs after the investigation had been initiated- Many Doctors think they are Gods and that mere mortals such as concerned parents should never question them! I really wish Beata had listened to Jack and not continually asked about Ketamine. Jack understood that the Ketamine was the whole problem and for Beata to continue to call and tell them she needed the Ketamine was just pouring salt in a huge open wound- I certainly didn’t know her - but I have to believe there was something significant going on with her in the form of depression or anxiety or some other health issue… I don’t believe the Judge not letting her hug Maya that day he ruled they couldn’t see her or that the investigation was being continued was what caused her to end her own life…. She had a fairly strong accent still and I’m wondering if she was born in Poland and if so when did she move to the US because there might have been cultural differences that affected the situation? Maybe her insistence in calling and asking about the Ketamine is something that in Poland wouldn’t be a problem? Maybe she didn’t understand the power DCFS has? Or the power the Doctors had in being able to actually take her child away- Im not being ignorant and assuming that because she has a strong accent she isn’t American or understand how things work here- but it’s merely a question I’m asking- She loved and wanted to protect her kids so much she wouldn’t have left them just for that ruling being made….. I certainly have absolutely no knowledge about her beyond the documentary but I have wondered if Jack might have gotten mad at her for not listening to him and threatened to divorce her if she continued to do things that might hurt their case….

    Poor Beata knew that only by removing herself would Maya be able to come home to be with her family, and was willing to take that step to end her child's suffering.....and if so, well she wasn't wrong because their "concern" for Maya's safety was irrelevant once someone died and they, eventually, sent her back to where she should've been all along. Only now she has to go through all her milestones, as well as the trauma and challenges of CRPS without one of the people she loved, and who loved her, the most!

    This is the most disgusting case I've ever seen. I have had crps since 2012, and it's a living nightmare. So basically, if you don't kiss a doctors a$$ and agree with recommendations even if they go against the original diagnosis and treatment they are somehow allowed to take your child away, medically neglect their care, and cause parents to either lose their minds or commit s*icide from depression? What laws protect parents from these people? The laws should protect the people, not the f*cking institutions. Especially good parents that only care about their child's health and safety! This mother was a nurse! Her father is a retired firefighter! If it could happen to them, it could happen to anyone. If this hospital isn't held accountable for their mistakes, it will never end! John Hopkins should be shut down. Period.

      Honestly, I doubt seriously she knew that or even thought it b/c there is probably no precedent for that outcome. If it had been inevitable, Family Services would have told them that if they were to separate, they'd give him custody back with some type of supervised visits for the mother. However, Family Services, especially in FL is notorious for making grave errors and stretching things out longer than need be.

    Ohhh my.....this case really brings me such deep disdain and outright anger!
    I lost my daughter on 18th December 2022.....my daughter had SickleCell disease and it presents similar to Maya's symptoms....intense pain....and this particular crisis was really bad....we went to the biggest University Teaching Hospital where we were certain they would help us.....but noooo..they instead thought my child was just exaggerating her pain and i was labelled an incorrigible mother who was just being difficult and demanding.....when all the while i was telling them....i know my daughter ,i know this and that is what she needs....they all ignored me and instead stated to me what they thought and what their protocol was.....well my child died that night....in less than 24 hrs....my baby was dead.....
    These cases are way higher than should be
    It is visceral pain....knowing something could have been done about it
    As a family you are left drowning trying to pick up the pieces😢

      This will be tough for the jury. I haven’t watched or read anything outside the trial and can already tell this will leave them with more questions than answers. Dueling experts won’t help. Ultimately they weren’t in charge of Beata’s mental well being so I think it may be a hard stretch to prove that they were responsible for her suicide.

    • @IAmALawyerToo
      @IAmALawyerToo 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They are liable for all damages naturally flowing from the treatment of/care rendered to Maya. Since that included the allegations of abuse v. Mom & the extraordinary measures of removing custody, a strong argument w/ample case law can be made that the mom’s death could have been reasonably expected - but that is not the crux of the claim here. I’ve represented a number of large medical centers/hospitals & this is unlike anything I’ve seen. If the facts are as alleged, JH could get hit w/a huge judgment.

    • @learningtogetherhomeschool7208
      @learningtogetherhomeschool7208 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@IAmALawyerToo I’m completely open to the possibility that Maya’s family were wronged by JH and cps. If it went down as it is being portrayed then they have a lot to be held responsible for. I would hate to be to one having to disentangle CPs responsibility from JH responsibility. And actually cps would be more to blame in some ways because they should have been there to protect her from the hospital. They should have been involved enough to see that JH was over stepping.
      However, neither cps nor JH main concern should have been the mental state of Maya’s mother. So if it comes out that they truly had cause, then how Beada dealt with it is not on them. Imagine CPS leaving a baby with an unfit mom because it might be bad for the mom to take the baby away. That would be horrific. Now I’m not saying Beata was unfit because I haven’t heard or looked at the facts of the case yet. I’m simply saying it’s a dangerous road to go down. I think facts will have to show intent to harm.
