It’s abundantly clear she believes she’s shining on that stand and will never consider the fact that she’s performing for a captive audience. How can someone possibly be so intoxicated and swept up in the glow of the spotlight to the point that they’re completely unaware that they are a defendant in a trial with the most bleak future awaiting them? I think any woman who has had a man on top of her knows kneeing him in the groin is not an option. It’s just not physically possible to get the force and have enough space between bodies to make contact. You wind up weakly bringing your knee up to the air. The only way you could knee him is if he is suspending himself in the air three feet above you (or if you are the one on top of him). PS: When you are lying down, you can’t “pull back” from a kiss. Your head is already against something. It’s as though she hasn’t ever been in a situation similar to this-it’s all imagination, zero lived experience.

But even with the truth you gotta be really careful, every single thing is going under a microscope the instant it leaves your mouth. The brass tacks though? Her attorney is grade A proper shite, terrible at her job. Ezra should have never under any circumstance taken the stand. A good attorney would have told her to look really sad, cry as much as possible, especially when the prosecution shows crime scene photos, don't talk! Called oh I dunno, more than 1 witness. She could have tried to sound confident, and professional, it's sad. Lastly she could have made some effort to get Ezra to fix her story, because there is no doubt she was guilty. She needed a lawyer that could sell ice to an Eskimo and create reasonable doubt.

36:47 - "I got out of the tru- car" - I think this was a slip on Ezra's part. If you look at the crime scene the car got stuck next to a green flat bed truck which was open on the top. I've long thought through what actually happened that fateful day to Alex because the crime scene makes very little sense. Ezra's recollection is clearly fabricated as to frame Alex as the instigator.
I think what happened is that she lured him out there and possibly suggested them having s*x one last time, and as he was in love with her I doubt he would have refused. Her mentioning him needing to pee is so out of left field I can't help but feel there is some truth to it - that this was something he actually said during this sequence of events, however not after being stabbed 15 times. I think they attempted to have s*x in the back of Ezra's car - explaining the muddy footprint on the ceiling of the car, but a lack of space meant it was uncomfortable, but there was another suitable hidden spot - the green truck. If you look at the crime scene photo you can see there is some equipment in it, but its pushed to the front of the truck, making space behind it, more than enough space for two bodies. Needing to pee becomes an issue for males before they have s*x - and so this is why I think this was said and hence why Ezra has said it, but changed the context of it to avoid mentioning their attempted (or successful) s*xual encounter prior to his murder (seeing as her ultimate intention for murdering Alex was to get Jason Mengel back). It would explain why there was no blood on his trousers, or underwear, why he removed his coat despite the snow outside, why Ezra removed her flannel, trousers and shoes - because the only marks on her jeans were dirt and the superficial tears she ripped into them. She was found wearing only her socks, leaving her shoes behind. I couldn't find whether Alex was missing his shoes also, but it would make sense if he wasn't wearing shoes either as to take your trousers off you need to remove your shoes (but not necessarily socks!)
The majority of the blood was found next to the green truck, which would be where they would have climbed out. As Ezra had almost no blood on her, she clearly took him by surprise and attacked him from behind, stabbing him first in the head. Personally I think this knocked him over as he wasn't expecting the blow, hitting the floor. I believe he was unconscious from the head blow, so she turned him over, likely to assess whether the initial blow had killed him. Seeing he was still alive, she then rained blows with the knife while he was on the floor, explaining the lack of his blood on her, including slashing his neck. His lack of defensive wounds suggests that he was unconscious while the rest of the attack occurred. She then gathered her things, stole his phone from her car and fled the scene, leaving Alex for dead. The carving of the word "boy" into her arm may have happened here or it may have happened while she was moving away from the scene. Alex regained consciousness at some point afterwards and attempted to re-enter the car, likely to retrieve his phone to call for help, only to find it missing. He then died hanging out of the car from blood loss.
This is what I suspect is the true course of events. Poor Alex, he didn't deserve to be murdered by this egotistical maniac.

Ezra’s main concern was Ezra’s well being and her anxiety. She has to be the most bizarre person I’ve ever seen. You know when she’s lying is when she’s talking. She was concerned about not using her tent to give her car traction but stabbing a person to death was her result of having freedom to be with the love of her life. It’s too bad Jason didn’t pursue his uneasiness about the way Ezra’s was acting. Listening to her testimony about what happened it’s hard to believe she hadn’t been diagnosed with Some kind of mental disorder.

After Ezra’s car got stuck, her story about how to deal with it was so bizarre. She didn’t want to call a tow truck because of the cost. Most of us have been stuck whether in mud or snow usually one pushes and the other is behind the wheel. Usually the stronger one starts to push. If the tent would have helped I would had used it. It probably was bs like the rest of her story. She didn’t want to wreck her tent, she didn’t want to pay a tow truck so what just leave the car there? The anxiety excuse was weird. I get panic attacks but I still can try to solve a problem. If anyone should had been anxious it should had been Alex. The part where she’s been told how she’s beautiful, a shining sun and handsome. What a nutcase.

I tried to help him pee because that’s what I do. I help people. After she literally just stabbed him in the head. How absolutely delusional.

Her story sounds like a midday movie she's written the script for. None of what she says sounds believable.

I’m sorry. She’s cute and all that. But when she said this guy who attacked her got out the car after she stabbed him to get him off her. Then she stands around and waits for him to say something. He says he needs help going to the bathroom. So she goes and helps him for him to grab her and it starts all over again. I’m like guilty. If a woman is attacked and is about to be rapped. Once she gets free she’s running until she finds help. She went to him because he said he needed help going to the bathroom. And she just wanted to help him because she likes helping people. WTF. That’s the best she could come up with. She’s crazy.

She asked for a new trial last December claiming the jury never heard "the whole story". The judge announced that there will be no new trial, as "it would be a monumental waste of resources" and that the evidence of her guilt was "overwhelming".

Why does she repeat questions that the defense asks her before every answer? It is a stalling technique so she can think of the right answer?? So she doesnt make any mistakes?? Similar to Amber Heard eating food when she was being asked questions by Johnny Depps lawyer?? Im curious of others thoughts on this??
