I don’t think the leather one is heavier. The lambskin they use is very thin for them to do the quilting. They are both lightweights consider the size😆
I have a question, do you think this kind of material gets dirty easily ? I dress mostly in black and I’m thinking of getting tan or cream but I’m worried my winter jackets might stain it !
Most light color bags can get color transfer regardless of material. You can spray your bag with Apple Garde amzn.to/3BsulPu or Carbon Pro amzn.to/3BTCXQF before using your bag, it will be easier to clean if it gets stained 😊

Yes you probably can fit a laptop inside, I wouldn’t carry some too heavy though, I would worry the bag would break 😅
