Welcome to PC World! When I first started in Mod 2, I remember standing at the Invoking Circle in PE and you couldn't move for characters, from level 1 to 60. As a healer, any random queue popped instantly. Now, the place is deserted, one or two layers at most. And it's not because there are more instances of PE open. Queues can take 30 minutes or more, even for a Healer. {:o:O:}
This would have been my 10th mod since I started playing, but I must say I’m glad I took a break. The new equip bonuses show just how little intent developers wanted players to use this gear. Like why waste time coding it in if you expect nobody to utilize it? This company needs better management of time and resources.
I haven't been able to try TIC because I lack the motivation to do it. Just seems like the drops aren't interesting enough to be worth the grind. I've been only logging in to get my keys and do workshop stuff to prepare for Summer Fest and Gond for about a month now.
Hey Gus, it's not just the mod that sucks. The game in general has lost whatever bit of luster it had. I've been playing since day 1 on PS and now I have no interest in logging in past getting my vip key, and my vip is up soon. I probably won't be logging in at all after that. I just can't find the excitement in the game the way I used to.

@@bankusmotius3667 I heard that they only shutdown the services for PC and left the Console version. I’ve been playing for a good 8 months now and really enjoying it. Some places are a little difficult to read, since they don’t have proper locator functions to help you navigate the map and it’s even harder when you have a group. Because I’m playing with a small monitor, I get constantly bashed by my friends who are irritated by my lack of direction lol. It’s very very easy to get lost because the world is quite vast and you have lots to explore. I would say that this is easily more of an exploration game which is great for those players who like big worlds. Dungeons are amazing as well and enjoyable to adventure in. You can do solo or group.
i started ac odyssey for a week now, i'll return for battle pass tho but you are totally right that you noticed players leaving,we have 80 days till next mod and i'll refine my 25M rough astral every day but i play less cause the grinding is too much for items that are medium tier and not top tier
PC people are dropping fast also with the ad. The backlog now is 43,765,289 as of yesterday. It used to be 50,208,507 last July. Those still playing the game are pulling out of the exchange to buy everything with their ad. I'm not even worrying about the new equipment as it isn't worth it.
Hi there. Our alliance is very active. If you host MDM in alliance chat, you should be able to fill soon. Look for any guild from Cobra Alliance looking for recruits.
I wouldn't get any of that gear even if it just cost the AD (definitely wouldn't spend the resources on them as well). Even if these items were not bound, nobody would farm and AH them, as they're ALL utter trash 👎
all the endgame players are gone because dungeon was to easy and there is nothing to sell at all that’s why my entire friend group who farms and does free carrys isn’t running anything
Besides the tremendous grind I find almost all the gear as things I will never see. I do not have patient "friends" to run advanced and master content so I never will get any of that gear. I do not know these types of dungeons and all their tricks so I end up being a drag on groups. Rather than be the cause of failed runs I plug along at other content. Even if it cost more trinkets I would sooner do that if that was an option.
And since part 2 is not yet uploaded I will say why they made all gear bad- they are afraid to make good gear for entry level because they know the endgamers will riot, and they are afraid to make endgame gear good because it will increase the gap and lose new players. Of course there is a way out of this paradox, but it is not simple, nor self evident, and requires active current knowledge as a player and lots of negotiation between devs and suits. Atm they chose the easy way out- everybody gets placeholder items. .

Yes you can:) if you make it account bound, all your characters can claim it. Only downside is that if it is unbound, it becomes bound and you can never sell it. But worth it if you play many characters.
I think m27 m28 is the worst chapter ever.. I dont mind the gear, i think it was great for supports but i guess dps wise is island content, good for wildspace only and theres no reason to return to wildspace as of now. Some of the gear will remain relevant and advance moondancer is pretty good place to gear up. The campaign is horrible to play, the side quests are annoying and the whole instance divided in mini planets is horrible for heroic encounters and doing your weekly stuff. Module 26 was to me the best we got in a long time.. the dungeon is great and its is relevant for weapons, gear and ad farm. Campaign is easy to do, enjoyable, farmable because of the hunts which actually give good stuff such as rough ad, multiple campaign currencies, good starting gear....all hail m26
As far as the gear is concerned you are correct that it's trash and you have new players that don't really realize IL means nothing. It's what the gear does for you. Now if it's a marketing plot it's an ad sink for people to break themselves and buy zen to make quick ad cause they aren't experienced enough to utilize the market
Putting AD cost to upgrade rings plus reagent is such a dumb move by cryptic awful part for a ppl like me who doesnt spend money on the game just playing grinding everyday its ok if the gear is best in slot in everymod but it is not every mod cryptic being worst and worst if im a god right now i will reduce the lifespam of every devs on this game trust me .
That was only the enchantment mod and get some gear in Werk one because of bug of aic and that was it the weapon are shit because at a watlock healer the off hand Has to damage rating no healer rating gg neverwinter and it's trash anyway that mean wait 74 days to have fun again The hope dont be dead for mod 29 a next dungeon hope it Has better gear ore better artefect Sets
I will say something unpleasant but it needs to be said. Sure, good items and good farms to help with char progression are important. But they are not the main reason to play a game. A game should be fun in its own right with no rewards other than the gameplay itself. Whomever plays the game only to get stuff it does not matter if they stay or leave, they are not gamers , they are enviournement. The true question is where are the gamers, and the mmo population has declined all across, with studies that show less interest in long term planning, strategies and challange. Even if devs do everything right, the playerbase would still decline in high numbers.
Tinkering with stats to build the perfect character can be fun in its own right for some people (I am one of those), and arguably the most planning you will ever have to do in the game if you take the time to put some thoughts into it by yourself. The thing is in Neverwinter there's not much to do past a certain point because there's a lack of true randomness (rerolling stats or bonuses on a piece of gear, stuff like that), so the only joy you can get in that regard is to replace your old pieces with newer ones that are more powerful/fit better together. A whole mod with an array of horrendous gear pretty much means you can't have your fun for 4+ months. (but I suspect it's going to be 6+ from now). Let's not even talk about celestial upgrades which were pretty much a one button push and be done with it. I kind of agree that the fun is also playing the game and enjoy the content but the thing is the content itself and your ability to access it is tied very tightly to getting good gear, so it's hard to completely detach from it
Yes, you may be right. But this game has shown time and time again that if there is value in a dungeon, players will run non-stop daily until their eyes bleed. We have missed this aspect of the game the last 2 mods.
I think the last time I was really enjoying Neverwinter was back when Dragon Hunts were introduced. They were accessible to nearly all and even though it was a grind to get to level 100 on 3 toons it was so easy to get a group. It was also around the same time they got rid of Tales of Old event which I loved and hated. If they had fixed the bugs it would easily have been my favourite grind. Since then its been pretty meh.
The gear is garbage and there's literally nothing to do. No new grindy stuff no new events no new reason to do old content... It just seems like they made a gear randomizer and just let it go ham.
the mod is a turd because the dev team is a turd The developer would rather sell you coal motes (3 for 1000 zen or whatever) in the zen market than make fun content. They are cashing out while they can. They dgaf about content. They want your $$ thats it. More the same shit coming mod 29 30. They will Cash the F out changing everything to celestial. Prepare for the next AD sink and terrible content.
@gusarcher5446 Lol here's to hoping. The bad lag and server instability killed mod 28. The first few weeks of the mod were misery. The game was unplayable because of lag by many on ps5. We had problems of encounters and powers not working at all. It was a joke.
I feel this mod is just a cash grab from new players that's why everything cost ad and we not had any seal gear that new players can get for free this is the reason the back log has stayed down because alot of new players are probably exchanging zen to ad. I got 2 more weeks and after I will not even dip my little toe in wild space AIC and MIC is a flop all the gear is trash there is only a had full off pieces that are worth it mostly for healers for the divinity recharge all dps and tank pieces are trash the whole mod is trash big ad sink and nothing to make ad on so disappointing after the long wait for the mod.
Wasn't mod 15 beloved? You're thinking of the massive shift for the game in mod 16 I'm guessing. But rven then starting out as a new player it was fun af in m16

The drops are retarded we don't even get gear in chests, you only get 6 currency too each queue.
Is clearely just an appereance item, you can buy extra slot to preserve them.

I have enjoyed those aspects of the game you mentioned as well. Plus others. But this mod is a soul crusher for fun.
