Looking at those charts, the the ultra 9 285k (£550) was offering similar performance in gaming to a AMD 9600X (£230)......that's not a good look. Come on intel..we really need some competition here. just look at the price of the 7800x3d jumping from £310 to £450 over the last 2 months with the poor 9000 launch...this wont help either. Hopefully the 9000x3d's will actually be good, and drive the price of the 7000 one down again, but without competition, we'll just be seeing the manufacturer slapping on a bigger profit margin
@StomerMadGermzOfficial There's no point to get a 7 thousand dollar thread ripper unless your running serious AI programs. I've seen them at universities. That thread ripper will be obsolete long before games ever catch up to it lol.

@xpodx exactly! People act like their gonna get the 4090 and ultra 9 and run it in 1080p LOL. If you did that you'd be wasting your money not to run it in 4k.
@CheddarbobOriginal i mean if they want 540fps go low res and smoother. Get a 9800x3d, I'm not gonna judge. I mean not to much xD even 1440p 9800x3d. That case looks like a nightmare and the giant empty gap above the motherboard looks weird. Using water cooler seems silly. I got the 7800x3d for $366.80 just in time before they became $450 and up. Yeah its good for FPS but not for non gaming. Good to see some 4K comparisons.
Hello, content idea.... - challenge all your rival toobers to a fusion 360 learn and 3d print challenge - end goal being a 3d printed mini itx case.
Is 12th gen intel cpu a good idea for a new gaming pc in 2024
no
it’s old
@eduardo_guzman11 then which??
@eduardo_guzman11 ryzen 7000 is very expansive where I stay
@@daredevilgamingyt 14900k should be on discount
@@eduardo_guzman11 that is out of budget
So this would cost an estimated $5k not even including a keyboard, mouse or monitor 😭
no look on newegg, They have 4090 rtx and ultra 9 with 32gb ram for $3,500
Has he ever explained what happened with his personal rig? he did part 1 and we havent seen anything since.
Goodness, me, the clickbait is real with this one. Doesn't even come close to the fastest gaming CPU.
At least people know that anything from Intel called “Ultra” is not worth buying
unless they want the best specs in their cpu
@ yea I should of said “for gaming” Core Ultra isn’t so bad in productivity apps
It runs cooler and more efficient than the 9800 with only a 10 fps drop in 4k. Don't care about the lower RESES because if i had a 4090 id only be gaming in 4k. Why would you buy this pc if your running 1080p?
Yeah I need all that power (plays Lords of Midnight and Doomdarks Revenge...)
I'm good on my 5800x for now... :D
I need someone who has experience to answer me to this:
I build my pc a few months ago
RTX4090
I9-14900k
Corsair Dominator DDR5 6400
1200 PSU
6 Corsair Fans
Nzxt z73 AIO
Asus Z790 E gaming WiFi 2
PC had BSOD every 20 minutes lately that turned to everyb5,4,3,2,1 minutes and then died. took it to the repair shop and nothing fixed.
Tech told me Asus MB are terrible and he said to get the Gigabyte z790 Master.( I don’t want to get it because I have dual set up and the specific motherboard doesn’t have line in)
Do I go for another Asus and pray, do I go for the MSI Tomahawk WiFi, or do I go for the GB Master and just add an external usb for line in and line out.
the 13 and 14 series are the worst 19s you can buy, ticking time bombs and major issues with them. the ultra is better.
@ I switched to 7950x3d and 4090 of and I get significantly less performance like -70-80 fps
@vsm_dracarys6282 the 7950 is worse than the ultra 9 look at the benchmarks. People are just trolling on here or are AMD fanboys. Kuzz the benchmarks of the ultra 9 are way better than the 7800.
@vsm_dracarys6282 i would go with a msi aegis rebuild. I've had 1 for 5 years still works fine with my i7 and 2080. I'm upgrading soon though. Check out the msi aegis comps.
Staying with i9-14900K for another couple of years.
Amazing 😍
Anyone that brought the 5800x3d is laughing so hard!!! DDR5 and next gen motherboards were a waste of money. 5800x3d has to be the best gaming cpu of all time. It is still going strong in 2025!! Haha
its a low range calm down
R u joking, The bechmarks of that pro are ass compared to the ultra 9 lol
@@CheddarbobOriginal Intel are irrelevant, end off.
Forgot about the sensor on the pc case😂👌🏻 and I’m not talking about electrical components ahaha
Why do people keep using Intel and saying it's the best out there 🤦🏾♂️
Great content! Would love to see a PC build that can run Ark: Survival Ascended on full epic setting and get 120 fps 🤣
Maybe AMD and Intel are just releasing the new stuff so everyone else can figure out what needs work faster then either company could accomplish with in-house testing.
This is not the most powerful cpu. It’s an utter disaster. You’d be better off with an i9 12900k than this.
I dont think this title makes any sense... MOST POWERFUL Gaming and Intel in the same sentence? I dont think so😂
You have to configure Intel default Settings for CPU Powerlimits in BIOS, then the crashes will be gone.
Good Morning Sir 🙏

Wild that the Ryzen 7800X3D still smashes the new i9 in performance

It is the worst CPU launch ever... Bulldozer was a walk in the park in comparison...
How can a company bring out something and it not work properly, baffles me!.
Jokes on you intel I'm still gonna call the 15th gen i9 i7 .......
7:26 you forgot thermal paste lol 💀
?
lets see a Threadripper Pro 7995WX build ....
@StomerMadGermzOfficial There's no point to get a 7 thousand dollar thread ripper unless your running serious AI programs. I've seen them at universities. That thread ripper will be obsolete long before games ever catch up to it lol.
I am hearing 265k is selling out fast...!! ~ some already sold out.

@Subzero2151 there prolly won't be anything more powerful than the 4090 till the 5070 ti. Which is probly more than a year away.
@@CheddarbobOriginal best estimate for the RTX 5000 release date is January 2025, based on rumor and speculation, as Nvidia hasn't officially announced a date. According to the latest rumors, Nvidia is planning to unveil the RTX 5090 and 5080 at the CES tradeshow in January 2025, with a full release coming soon afterward.
@Subzero2151 I heard they would support 8k. Can you imagine the cost of a 8k OLED 240hz or higher monitor LOL. I would get the new 5090. but the 4k 240hz monitor are already close to 1000 dollars. The only point of getting the 5090 would be for 8k gaming. Which would cost you a fortune for a good monitor. But yeah if i hadlike 6 thousand dollars to blow for a 5090 system and 8k monitor when it comes out I'd wait for the 5090 to.
Cases before O11 Vision/compact: too little space at the top of the case, can barely connect CPU power cord etc. O11 Vision/compact: too much space at the top XDXD
CPUs are general purpose processors they don’t just play games so if you do anything else your good as well seems like it games really well I’m sure the early bugs will get fixed this is their first chiplet remember first gen ryzen
9800X3D in 2 weeks like 👀
Using 4k 144hz+ on this chip is the use case of the cpu. Thank you. I understand when people test at 1080p but that's not what you would do if you got this chip. It should be able to handle the 5090 and 6090 later fully probably.
But 4k max native and beyond the 285k is looking like a better product being wayy better at multicore. As I render and video edit as well. Well see if intel improve it, but also wait for the 16c x3d variant. I might be going amd after all.
And next week we will have a video titled "The MOST POWERFUL Gaming PC Build Ever?! 😍 AMD 9800X3D, RTX 4090, Gameplay Benchmarks!"
The Core Ultra motherboard is very expensive comparing to Ryzen B650.
I hope you realise that testing at 4k makes you GPU limited.
Intel doing apple things
8 core 3d chip are insane.
Glad you put a question mark on the title, else we might have to call you a liar. 7800X3D is still the fastest, most efficient, chip on the planet. Intel takes that hard L.
Can someone for the love of god recommend me a build. I have a budget of $2500. I want 1440p and stable 280hz gameplay. Somone please!!🙏
With an intel? You must have been missing the news lately….
The new CPU'S from Intel are awful.
Ive used Intel for years, no more.
Im switching to AMD next time.
Also, this is not the most powerful Intel PC you can build as the 14th gen i9 is better.
THE 13TH AND 14TH GENM i9s are the worst on the market, tons of issues they say they are basicly ticking time bombs lol
can t wait to watch this video! Hope u will show us the benchmark on 4k :)) i m tired to see people talking that 285k is slower than 7800 x3d in full HD .. we are in 2025 almost ! pleass lets move on from that resolution :)))
You do not understand how and why that works. Watch Daniel Owens video he posted a couple days ago explaining it in a very elementary way. Maybe you'll understand it.
at 4k GPU is more responsible for performance than cpu.
Why would you test a cpu in 4k? You clearly don't understand.
So when will the rad companies and fan companies put magnets in the corners to just stick the fans on the rad without the use of screws I HATE RADS
HP PAVILLION FTW
That case looks like a nightmare and the giant empty gap above the motherboard looks weird. Using water cooler seems silly. What’s the point of saving watts on the TGP if you have to add extra power to the board’s pci lanes? Intel fail all around. They nailed it with the mobile chips and give us this weird garbage on the desktop. :(
Read the title, and i said: defenetively not.
unsure if its the most powerful, more click bait. If you had written the most power hungry I may have believed you.
What is this Embargo you keep harping about?
