Literally a 1:1 of my first ever PC build I just did in February except I went with the 4070 Ti Super! So far it has blown my expectations coming from console gaming since the OG Xbox 💪🏼😂 the master race is real!!
Right such a good build
Yeah that's a better card than the gre
Bro, what games do you usually play and at what resolution ?
@@riichobamin7612 I’m not OP but I have the same build and you can easily play anything at 1440p and have over 60fps.Even can do some 4k but may have to turn some games settings down from ultra to high.
same i7 14700f and msi gaming x slim 4070ti super i am over the moon with it
Small tip, when installing your Windows 11, select English (World) at the installation, this prevents it from installing any of the Windows Store crap and other crap like Instagram/etc/etc. The start menu is clean. Once your inside the OS, just change the language to your proper one, and as always run Chris's Windows Utility to quickly clean up all the telemetary/services that MS spies on you.
I literally built a 7800X3D and a 7900GRE with 32gb 6000mhz RAM, the same 4000D case and cooler two days ago!
Me to! ;)
relative bad build considering that you have overkill cpu and mediocre gpu so basically you will get same performance even on 1080p high refresh monitors as with r5 7500f/7600 which are almost double cheaper cpus
How is it?
i was literally thinking about this build yesterday . thank you for posting
Exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you sir!!
last week I built my dream pc with 7800x3d+7900gre
Building mine in 4 weeks cause I'll have all the parts by then
Built mine back in March
I don't get what happened, been doing research for a month now and they entire time all I ever heard was the best value gpu is the 7800 xt, now when im buying my parts it's all 7900 gre and no one is recomending the 7800xt. What happened I can't afford the GRE
@@teckersguyo7783 7800xt is great, gre is just a higher tier gpu, making it more demanding
its less than 100€ difference bro@@teckersguyo7783
Really love your content... will keep watching currently saving up for a PC build... but suspect it will take a while :)
I built a very similar system except it was mini-ITX in a Corsair 2000D case. Got similar results on temps and frame rates. Loved seeing this!
Marcus, the one thing I like about your pc building videos is that you test different games whereas other PC channels test the same games every time
Yes! I've been waiting for u to build in the 4000d again.
Hope to build in it soon.
And u went for a similar build : )
great job marcus, another awesome video. loving the colors as well!
Thank you! I needed to know the info about the motherboard. Really helped me out man! An Thanks for every single video. They’re all pretty awesome man. I hope Carl is paid well!
Had this build for about 2 months. It's a great combo I went with 64gb of ram since playing stat citizen
Built my PC this week with the same board, RAM, CPU and GPU. Very happy with it. Happy to see my build on here.
How’s it been?
Love to see so many new builders in the comment section, i was litterally this person 2 months ago. I must say the videos are wonderfull but if you do hit a wall, the discord that Marcus has is superb for that final bit of technical advice. Thanks to Marcus I am now part of the Master Race. :)
Thats actaully crazy, I came home after buying my PC components load up youtube and see that your using almost exactly the same parts as my build (-AIO, -Fans)
My PC died 2 weekends ago, so I upgraded it last weekend. So this weekend I'll be smashing some quality gaming..... 1st game CRYSIS.... Will it run on ultra? 😂 7800x3d, 7900xtx, 32gb, msi gaming plus mobo all in my classic military green Corsair c70 vengeance case 😘👌
Solid choices
Amazing!
Amazing content
Love that mobo. Been eying up this combo for my uprgrade from 5800x3d.. not sure to wait for 9000 series now...
Built a gaming pc with pretty much the same hardware in March. My gpu is the rx7800xt which I bought myself for Christmas and the 7900gre hadn’t come out then. I’m very pleased with the results and would be hard pushed to consider anything but AMD in the future
Hey Markus, you're gonna go crazy by sniffing the new MB like that!😅😊😮
This video is brilliant
Good stuff, interesting with the HYPR-RX would like to see that with the RX 7900 XTX.
What monitor are you using?
Such a beautiful pc, you are very smart.
I love the system ... I am sold
i have this set up its very good
Heck yeah. I literally have the same Motherboard, Ram, Cpu, and Gpu(i have the Sapphire Nitro+ though).
Killer setup!
If you don't mind cables I actually prefer the Be Quiet Light wings in white. They look amazing, really quiet and cost waaaayyy less than Corsair.
My new system mirrors this build somewhat. Instead of all the Corsair stuff, I've got a DeepCool CC560 V2 case (comes with 4 ARGB 120mm fans), the DeepCool LE520 240mm AIO cooler (ARGB) with a CWT GPX 850 Gold PSU. Motherboard is the Asus TUF gaming B650-E WIFI into which I've dropped the 7800X3d and 32GB of RAM. I'm still waiting for the GPU which is the Sapphire Nitro+ version of the 7900 GRE. The fan cabling isnt as streamlined as yours, but I've got the fans split between 3 different headers, CPU FAN for the radiator, CHA FAN1 for the 3 at the front, and CHA FAN2 for the fan at the back. This is my first ever build without any 2.5" or 3.5" disks.
Hello, Mr. C! I love your content as it has more personality than the typical tech videos! Thank you for being you and have a great day.
Glad you think so :)
I'm building a 7800x3d 7900 gre system too. Just waiting for a new case bc the fractal meshify C was too small. Lian Li O11D EVO should do it. Went with arctic liquid freezer III and got some of their bionix fans too. Got everything non rgb as its not my thing.
Soooo I got myself a GRE and a 7800x3d [= [= my first ever build and it is really cool to see a video come out right now about those specifically so thank you. I got myself an air cooler though instead of an AIO. the Dark Rock Elite. i figured the cpu is great on thermals so i can avoid AIO to make things easier but still went big on a good air cooler just in case. I still have yet to get a case/mobo/ssd/monitor but i am so excited.
Is it a good idea to enable expo or intels version of memory tuning before installing windows? I had a nightmare installing windows when the memory i picked was incompatible at its rated speed, had to back it off 200mhz when i finally figured out the issue 😂
My next build wil definently incorporate some of those easy fan configurations. There are way too many cables in my current build
Great set up. Nice to see a AMD suit. One question... I have the same mobo. Cannot yo the life of me turn off the RGB off the mother board after it's turned off.... which bit in bios do you turn off to address that?
Just ordered my 7900gre
I'll just wait for the upcoming 8000 / 5000 series cards
So I keep changing my mind but now I'm sticking with Corsair. so Corsair 5000d the old corsair fans until I can afford to upgrade to new system. I'm pretty sure it's same Corsair PSU as what you got and motherboard and RAM I going for maybe the new mp700 pro if i can afford this aswell and I've got the ROG Strix 4070ti with Samsung QVO 4tb and Samsung 990 Pro 2tb. also got most of my parts from Scan Computers. I actually go to the shop and it's like heaven but then I realise I can't afford most of it lol. Loving this Content!
Marcus, a good alternative to free range is - creative control. 🙂
Hi, I'm about to build a very similar system, if you get the second icue link as you mentioned, do they just plug directly into each other seamlessly with the cable included? Thanks
I just built this exact set up except an aircooler and man it’s absolutely amazing I use it to stream and game works like a charm it high frames in all my games at 1440p
do you need to buy the red wires and what air cooler did you get instead
@@k1lyan I bought the thermalright peerless assassin $30 I think and it works very good temps stay around 58-65c so no you do not need red wires they are just for looks
I literally just built my first pc with a Ryzen 7 7800x3d, Gigabyte AMD RX 7900 GRE, Corsair Vengence 32 GB 6000MHz RAM, Corsair RX 120 and 140 mm fans, Corsair H 150i ELITE LCD cooler and the Corsair RMx1000 PSU, (I bought the shift and had to return it as it did not work well in the HYTE Y60 Chassis and did not fit the Corsair custom cables) - could have used this video a week ago ;)
That's exactly what I have been looking for, just cut all the fluff and all those fans and expensive cooler and can build with same performance for 500 bucks less, thank you
Out of all the cases I have built in the 4000D Air Flow was the best thermals of all of them, even better than 5000D Air Flow with 10 fans. It is still better than the one I have at the moment - NZXT H9 Flow with $900 USD worth of iCue Link fans and 360 AIO. I gave the 4000D to my daughter for her 1st Gaming PC and she loves it
The idea of my graphics card not having any X's would make me feel sad somehow.
mine doesn't have any Xs and I am very happy about it.
its the GOLDEN RABBIT EDITION which sounds so much cooler in my opinion
if that's the case, NEVER use any nvidia cards 😭
just built a 7800x3d-7900 gre PC last week, and im loving it. I really like the Adrenalin software over geforce exp.
@@lynch42o how is it for editing like after effects
The build I'm running is very similar. only difference is I'm still on am4 with the 5800x3d. paired it with the powercolor red devil 7900gre and a 240mm aio. as sad as it is to say, the only reason I haven't upgraded to ddr5 and the 7800x3d yet is because all of the available rgb ddr5 ram is quite ugly imo. when I find a set I like with good specs, ill upgrade.
Just upgraded my case to a Lianli Lancool 216RW. The 4000D would absolutely have been a better choice....if I hadn't gotten the 216 for just ten more Canadian on some kind of weird unannounced sale on Newegg. But I did, so yay me.
I'm new to P.C. been studying through you and other resources. Where can I go to build a P.C. that suits around my needs? I'll spend what I have to for reliability and years of upgrades, but I'm not really looking for flashy, just more for study, possibly video calling, and some gaming. My main goal for gaming is to be able to play the shooter games I like with knowing I have confidence in my setup, and I'm not lagging or something due to having outdated materials. Please point me to a website or video so i dont spend unnecessary money for my applications.
Is it just me or were there multiple points in the video where flickering was an issue? I initially thought it could be something with my monitor but the flickering happens at the same spots while rewinding every time so I think it is an issue with the source?
Hey bro please tell me if it's fine. Budget is extended already for GPU now so the question is should I scrap the build or go ahead with this(no upgrade)
i5 12400f
H610 asus prime (really cheap in India. B series mobo is 1.5 time its price)
3200 mhz 16GB RAM
NVME SSD
C tier PSU 650w
7700XT GPU
Will drill holes in a cheap office cabinet for plenty of airflow.
What are your thoughts as I need UPS as well so budget is maxed out...
*Great machine*
I am building a 4080 super, B650, 32 dual channel 6500hz in a few days, all the parts in but that dman 7800x3d is 3 days out since everyone is buying it. Is it really that good of a cpu ??
Do an all DEEP COOL build
So watching your video i saw that you said this motherboard was ready for the next gen stuff... would this one also be the same as that ASUS - ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI (Socket AM5) AMD B650E ATX DDR5 Wi-Fi 6E Motherboard - Black?
This is the build I’m doing for my sons 10th bday.. I have the x3d with a 4070 super myself
happy to hear that, he will 100% love it!
Amazing build as always, but it's a bit too pricy for me 😅😅😅
I had to uninstall the adrenaline software. It was making a few games stutter like crazy
Amazed scan got your address right!!! my 4070 went missing for an entire day and I only got it by calling the carrier on their mobile phone. Label printed from scan didn't have my address details on :S and my monitor went 3 doors down on my street the second time I ordered shocking service.
And to top it all I used to work there as an account executive for specialist components.
I’ve just bought a rig with this exact setup except it had an RTX-3090 -FE and 5tb of wd black ssd drives ,same case fans Second hand for 1k And it is an absolute monster performing pc
I built a 7800x3d 7900xt system. Its Perfectly Balanced. Not one bit of over priced corsair crap.
If I were to build what other ones should I get
@@azazazaza1231 other ones?

Would you be able to fill up all the NVME slots in this motherboard without cutting down the GPU from 16 to 8.
can this case fit a galahad 2 280mm aio top mounted its 30mm thick and the fans are 25 mm would there be enought space for ram and motherboard clearance 😢 plz help
The Corsair 4000 series case is literally the perfect size In my opinion, Large enough to fit plenty of fans and hardware in it. Any larger and it's just getting ridiculous.
I thought you were only supposed to use PSU cables that come with the PSU?
I literally build a pc with the same GPU and CPU just now rest is little bit different bc of budget and mobo is X670E
Ryzen 7 5700x with rtx 3060 12 gb for blender and Adobe after effect ?
Name model of the monitor and why ? you preffer 34 ultra wide, oled, no ?
How do we feel about the Ryzen 9 7950X3D? Would that not be better than the 7800X3D?
2000£?mate 😂did my PC with 1985£ and i got a r7 7800x3D with a RX 7900xtx asus tuf card. 32gb ddr5 1 tb gen 4 and 4tb gen 3. All that in a NZXT H5 Flow. Just use a Air Cooler man for that procesor is cheaper and it enough for that CPU. Those RGB is pointless more expensive for not bringing anything. Is my first PC build and i love it , performs excellent in any game and i didn't break a bank for it.
You mind listing the rest of your parts mate? I'm dropping 2k on a setup and your cpu+gpu pairing is great
Ill be running my 7000D for YEARS to come 😂
finally
7800x3d+7900gre or 7500f/7600+7900xt for 1440p???
the 7800xt is $150 cheaper vs the 7900gre in my country so im obviously picking the 7800xt
Monitor Model please
I want a computer for picture editing. 7900 for me with 4080
21:50 what do to in this screen ?
7900gre or 4070 idk what 2 get any suggestions and reasons backing them?
amd is ass, a billion stutters and bad support etc, save yourself the trouble and get a real gpu
I'd go with the 7900 GRE it's faster at pure rasterization most of the time & you get a little extra VRAM as well. Now the 4070 is most likely better at RT. Also, DLSS is the superior upcaller as well. Plus Nvidia seems to be a little better do getting work done like rendering. The 4070 is also better on power. But that 12 GB of VRAM kind of kills any of the pluses the 4070 has at least in my opinion.
Comment from an older PC tech. I'd say you should save some money by getting a Artic Cooling AIO instead of that Corsair one. Then shop for som cheaper fans. Corsair is good at one thing, making money from their brand. Well they are good at making server memory and have a pretty respectable line of PSUs. But for cooling they are not really that good. Fancy looking memory they are also pretty good at but there are many other brands to choose from, and often at better price and/or higher performance. Corsair cases are a mix of a few good ones, but also a lot of disappointments. And again they are very good at keeping prices up high.
So cheaper fans, cheaper and better AIO, perhaps avoiding the ASUS motherboard, that's a few things to get the price down a bit and hopefully the warranty I mean on the MB is better than what ASUS has proven lately.
I mean the parts in this video isn't bad, some of them are just a bit more expensive than needed, and ASUS was recently caught doing the dirty as far as warranty is concerned.
The AMD cpu boxes are all the same because they just need to do the manufacturing for one size to include the stock cooler so there's less waste in the manufacturing process.
