You can be more healthy and look more youthful at any age, but you can't stop the aging process. Keeping a positive outlook on life and remaining active is the key.
I am so glad you included long hair and some gorgeous long hair looks and tips. I am over 60 and still have longer hair. I have always preferred long hair to short especially here in Florida. I am glad I clicked on this video (I almost didn’t) because so many stylists suggest short dated cuts that require lots of products, bold hair colors that look unnatural and require lots of maintenance rather than a softer more modern look. I am going not for a youthful look, but a modern, natural look. Thank you for sharing these tips
I am getting ready to,get a pixie cut and I am 65 years old. I was letting my hair grow but no one seems to like it so I am going back to a short hairdo. I really want my pixie to be piecey and I hope the stylist can do that. Thanks for sharing this video. Great timing.
I’m completely white haired at 50. Dyeing it every-other-week to keep my roots from showing was a pain. I went from my light brunette to blond but it was still a pain. Went short, white, and spikey and love it! Nothing worse than a woman in her 50’s trying to look like she did in her 20’s. Nobody’s fooled. Unless you have massive surgery on your face like most of the actresses you showed did (Jamie Lee is fab), Jane Fonda admits to her facial work, most women will not look like your models. Why not have a video on aging gracefully?
Angela, I love your comments. I always feel kind of sorry for any woman who worries so much about trying to look younger or even sexy, lol. I love my grays and my shorter hair. I frankly have always thought the beauty industry is first and foremost about making $$$$, and they can't make any money on women like me. When you learn to keep it simple and can cut and style your own hair, you can save a fortune and still look really nice. I could care less about keeping up with the Hollywood crowd.
@@blush-n-bashful4790 Oh please. Karens (read bitches) come in EVERY gender (real women or fake ones), age, size, shape and color and wear their hair all different ways. They can sure enough have the latest celebrity wanna be hairstyle. Lol.
I had my hair cut in a pixie (I'm over 70) and, because my hair is thinning, the shortness on top seemed to exaggerate it! Thank you for your tip on keeping the top longer. I believe that will work for me. My hairdresser is talented but missed the mark on my last cut. I'll be showing her a picture of what I think will be a better look for me. Thank you so much.
I’m too timid to try it but I love Meryl Streep’s hair in the Devil Wears Prada. She doesn’t have perfect symmetrical features and the asymmetrical cut just seems to pull your eye away from the imperfections and balances her features.

Your information is very good, thank you. That said, I was so hoping that information about cuts for thinning hair would have been included as this is an issue for many of us as we age.
After COVID hit, I FINALLY let my dyed hair go natural...and I LOVE IT! Had to cut my long hair short, and bite the bullet! Now I'm experimenting with different layered medium styles, and your advice is PERFECT!! Thnx so much...Lisa
Oh that is wonderful!!! I LOVE natural hair. I think the dimensions of color are just stunning. Why fight that horrible grow out when you can embrace the beauty of it all? I’m happy for you.
I am 58 now and have long strong hair. I usually pick it up and have no bangs since several years. I have been tring to figure out a cut that would make me look a bit more colorful, since right now nothing frames my face... Its just easier with my hectik and busy life. Thank you for this video Gabi, you gave some really good tips and I hope to figure something out! By the way... Please, ignore the negative words some commenters have and keep on doing what you do! I love your channel and all the wonderful tips you have! ❤😊 To anyone having negative comments here....Why don't you just keep on clicking and go somewhere else!! 🙄🤐
No, you are not the only one. I have had many haircuts that were short. Looks good in the shop but on Day 2, forget it! I am not clever with styling my hair. I finally stopped coloring it and let it grow. It is SO easy. I like a high ponytail, or an over the shoulder pony, or put it in a bun. I like it and now that its grown out from yet another short mistake, I'm keeping it slightly above my shoulders. That is the easiest ever.
I am glad that you have identified the fact women can still look good with longer hair! Not necessarily really long, but not short. Also, layers are good - but don't they need a lot of upkeep?
You saved me, thank you! I was considering just chopping off the majority of my hair, because I can't get the ends in the back to stop looking scraggly and full of blank areas. I've always thought that, because my hair is fine & thin, I needed to keep it short, which is probably true, for the most part. But, how short, especially since my turkey neck & overall wrinkles have become more prominent. Thanks to you, I won't be chopping it all off in desperation.
I'm 65 years old, and have long hair for the last 30 years. Fighting short hair advice. :). For the last year, I put the hair in the bun when I was sleeping. In the morning, I got the soft curly hair without killing them with hot curler. Your advice about laying the hair around my face was very promising. Hopefully, My hairdresser would know how to do it. I also love bang. Thanks for this great video ❤️
Gabi, I grew out the colored hair and now it’s a natural silver. It is now just at my chin and I’m growing it to a longer bob. My face it extremely round and I’m 70. It was so refreshing to hear that I can still have longer hair which will be a first for me. I have always had short hair of some type so I’m venturing into a new phase of my life. I am lucky that I don’t have lots of wrinkles yet but gravity has been with me for a while now. I believe that a softer look is much better for me now and I am so happy that you agree. Much love and keep the styles and advice coming. Now that I found you I can search for more great information on your channel. 🥰
OMG....I have a stunning white hair color and a short bob. I got an appointment for a pixie cut. I'll delete it tomorrow. You're SO RIGHT! I've to cover a few things and will let my bob grow instead. Thanks for saving my appearance, I'm 75 and still working.
I love your advice! I am 74, I have always had short hair, very fine hair. I have a terrible time trying to get a complementary haircut. I want style but not fuss. I am a sporty type, very outdoorsy so I have tons of wrinkles that I will not touch! I’ve earned every one of them. However I really want a good cut as you have said. My hairdresser works at a high end salon but does my hair out of her home, old friends daughter. I think she works a lot on longer hair. I think she sees me as old so I seem to get the same cut and color. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you for your video, very informative! Judy
Keeping in mind the pictures of "older" women shared in the beginning with long hair are celebrities and actresses who potentially have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery. I'm not saying I disagree but let's be upfront about what we're looking at.
I think you just saved me from getting the Jamie Lee! I want to transition from my dyed red hair to my natural color and I thought I should just cut it all off since I've sported that super short pixie before. BUT, I'm mid 50s now and definitely have some features I'd like to downplay. Thank you!
Thank you so much for affirming those of us of a certain age. And thank you also for affirming that many of us look great with long hair at our age. Love your videos and outlook.
I agree. I have two pals with beautiful long hair and they look stunning. I wish I had thick hair but it’s thin and grey. Hey we do the best with what we got ❤
I agree !! I kept my long hair and have been told on many occasions that I look very young for my age so the pixie cut is not for everyone :) especially curly hair people! 🤗
This video is so informative. I have long hair and have been fighting getting it layers for ages. I use to have it that way then got it in my head that i wanted it to get as long as possible til I leave this earth. but realize the best is layers. I love all of your ideas and willl be showing this video to my hair stylist. thanks again. such great info for us ladies who want to keep our hair especially if it is thick and in good condition
Jamie Lee's pixie is iconic! I can guarantee she does not give a shit what anyone thinks about her hair. Had pixies when I was younger, now it's a shag and I love it.
She probably doesn’t give a shit and she shouldn’t. I was using it as an example of what many of my mature clients don’t like but it doesn’t mean she shouldn’t rock it or doesn’t look damn good doing it. I always think that if you feel good, then do it! This is what I gather from client’s opinions on how they feel but if any of these “don’t” make you feel great, then it’s a do!
I pull my hair up in an updo to give my face a lift. I don’t wear it tight but a little loose which adds volume and distracts away from the fact that my face is getting droopy. (58 years old)
This Video was Very Helpful . I just wished I would have found it before I went crazy and chopped my hair off. Lol I am 51 and in the last Three years worth my hair chemistry changing it has been a struggle to find a hair style for me. I feel like I am a serial hair style killer. I have gone through more styles but nothing seem to check off all He boxes I want. It also doesn’t help that my hair is very fine and can get frizzy in Humidity, which living in Fl does not help. I think I need to change my hair stylist, it has been a love hate relationship. Some times she gets it and I’m happy but then when I go back for the touch up it’s lie she doesn’t remember what she did last time and something just isn’t right . This last time I went the pixie.. the Hailey Berry style it turned out great ! Middle of summer was perfect, but I go back for trim and I got old lady style 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ So I’m so frustrated. I’m letting it grow out so I can start all over again .. I just wish I could fined someone that could just look at my face .. and hair and give me the hairstyle meant for me!
Thanks for sharing this Content and debunking the myth that everyone over 50 has to have short hair. However, I think it would’ve been much more helpful to show the hair styles and effects of the hairstyles on women who actually need this information. And not celebrities who have most likely had cosmetic work or at the very least I’d probably spent 2 to 3 hours in hair and make up before those pictures were taken.
Excellent advice. Thanks for taking the time to let me know your thoughts. I will definitely work on that for future videos. Comments like these help me to learn and grow.
@@GlamGirlGabi You’re welcome. I should have added that the tip to not blow dry on the part was exactly what I needed! I have long hair, which I love, but I always feel like it falls flat and pulls my face down. I am definitely going to try that next time I wash my hair.
Great idea for adding lift to the top of the head on down for those of us with curly longer hair that just wants to do what it wants. I use hot rollers and can roll it front to back rather than from the sides down. My hair is dry, and I've lost some of it, but it's thick and not noticeable except near my forehead. I have to spend more time on my hair than I used to.
Great video and just what I needed as a woman of sixty. I love the bob cut and longer lob cuts. A few months ago my hair was 1 length to my shoulders. I went to a place to get a lob with subtle long layers and came with plenty of photos of the style I hoped to achieve. What I ended up with was a shaggy, short layers on top and back of hair, longer layers towards my face hideous mess.....When I tried to style it I looked like a throwback to the 80's!!! Which of course aged me terribly and I've been hiding ever since. I just need to find the right stylist that knows how to do bob or lob. The last one I went to clearly had no idea and when she asked me what a Lob was, I should've realized this hair cut was gonna end badly!
Thanks for the feedback Patsy! I’ve had that suggestion a few times and will definitely take that into account when creating more content. I’ll try to get more and more people on the channel to demonstrate.
Thanks for your suggestions. One day after Christmas I have an appointment with a new hairstylist. I want a bob with a length until my jaw. Can't wait. Merry Christmas!
Well, I liked this video up until she used Jamie Lee Curtis as a “bad” example of a pixie. I absolutely love JLC hair! Her style makes her beautiful! She is one of THE best examples of beautiful aging!
Loved your suggestions. I want to look my best, not youthful. Youth was gone a couple decades ago. I'm working with what I have to be the best I can look as an older person.
Very Informational. I am 79 and struggle with my hair because it is thin. So I wear wigs and hair pieces. Your suggestions are helpful as to what style to buy.
I love your channel so much. You have built a really lovely community! At 60 I look best with a super cropped pixie because it takes years off of my tiny face (think Judy Dench). It's all about finding someone who will customize your pixie, make it work with your gray pattern if you are going with your natural color and, of course, how you style it. I never think of my hair as my "crowning glory" but as an accessory to be updated and played with.
Great timing! Over Covid I've let my hair get fairly long and one length. I know I need layers but I'm just not sure what I want to do and where to go. Love my regular stylist but she just asks what I want--and layers in the past have not been my favourite because she thins it out too much. Thanks for a great video!
Do you have very fine hair Susan? If you have super fine hair what you could do is cut the hair just passed the shoulder, keep the entire back blunt and do face framing throughout the front of the haircut. Then you have softening around the front but thickness throughout the haircut!
I wish all hairdressers had educated suggestions like you do! Most hairdressers don’t offer any ideas b/c it might take too much time; it’s just in and out!
Interesting! I am 73 and have long wavy hair - again. I am a hair minimalist so whatever I have has to be wash and wear basically. I am debating donating and going all Judi Dench again - but I really cannot decide, it will be a coin toss in the stylists chair next week!
Great tips😍 I am not 50 yet, but I would like to change my hair from very long to stylish medium. My hair is wavy and thick, they get easily frizzy and bushy looking. I don't like to spend hours to style them, I like to wash and go. I wonder if there is a good sexy style to cut my hair?
I also love long hair on quite a lot of my over 50 clients. But I would love to add to this discussion that frizzy hair ALWAYS ages. To wear it long, no matter the color, the hair CAN"T appear witch-like. I apologize if I sound blunt. Conditioner isn't always the solution, using styling tools properly works wonders
Layers are great unless you have thin hair. How do I get volume with such thin hair? It seems like to blow dry it and use volumizing products just causes it to break off. I am at my wits end!
Nice tips, thank you. Also, one of my pet peeves is the many female TV personalities who are well into their 50s/60s who wear super long extensions, it looks silly on most of them. A shoulder length would be so much more attractive and age appropriate.
I'm 58. I had long hair and cut it into a pixie 2 yrs ago. It felt great to be short but very quickly as I got used to it short the good feeling went, I'm currently growing it long again and this time will have it layered. It will probably be my last shot at long hair. 😁
I’m 63 and did the very same thing… I had below shoulder length and got pixie two years ago & I loved it but my husband hated it. He would ask me - why do women cut there hair short - do they want to look like a man? I decided to grow it out again… had a bob for a while - it’s now below the shoulder again & I find myself pulling it up or away from my face constantly. Now the gray is really coming in & I think I need to go short so it won’t look so bad growing out… Plus I’m also not wanting to keep up the $130 it cost to get a trim & color every 6-7 weeks. I’m just perplexed as to what to do.
@@Shirley61581 Exactly, the upkeep of a short haircut is way to much. When my grey begins I definitely will go short but after I'm become all grey I will grow it long again. Hair upkeep is expensive, Every visit to hair salon usually costs $188 to $300 I think there is lovely rinses, the blues or links that look great over grey hair. The lady across my road has a beautiful soft pink.
Hi just found you and love the advise you give…. New sub here xxx I’m in the UK and find it extremely difficult to find a good hairdresser that can actually cut long layers and style hair without using straighteners. Perhaps you could do a vid on how to find a good one and the red flags at consultations that we should be aware of ?
What is best for a round face and curly hair on bottom, straight on top. I have had all lengths but need just the right cut/length during my aging process - I am 58 years old. Want to slim my face and look more youthful! I have bangs and will keep them.
Love it! I have had long hair all my life and always will… problem is I am 62 and only 40 year olds are interested in me… I am hounded by my older sisters to cut my hair as I am old for long hair… oh well, I will have long hair if I live to 95!!
I have just turned 84 and have had longish hair for years which i find easy to take care of. Had it cut a few months ago and was horrified so now back to longer. I love pixies on other women but they make me look like a floor mop
Thank you very much for all that advice. You are radiant and you explain your profession and all the tricks to rejuvenate with a good haircut. I love it!
I was told by my FORMER stylist to keep my hair very short, she wouldn't even cut a Bob for me, wt...I am now rocking a Bob thanks for demanding self, lol😊I was also told no fringe/bangs I wear my bangs long and love them. Great video, Gabi ❤I say I'm aging gratefully because I'm grateful for each new exciting day I'm blessed with.🎉
Thankyou.....I feel short hair shouts age, nice to see longer hair. I wear glasses 24 7 and bangs are a total pain for my fine hair. Luckily at 74 no forehead wrinkles.
I have natural, silver gray hair, but it is very fine/thin. Are there semi-permanent products that make the texture thicker? The way blonding or bleaching does? But without the upkeep or damage?
I'd love to see examples of these styles on women who aged naturally instead of celebrities who had multiple facelifts. When you show us women who've had work done on their jawlines, necks, and faces, you're not really illustrating how a good haircut can soften those areas.
Enjoyed this video, but not sure how to apply it given that I have find thin hair that sits at the top of my shoulder. Are there any videos for unfortunates like me that have fine thin hair. There seems to be a debate as to whether layers hinder or help fine thin hair would love to know what you think.
What kind of haircut works for someone with naturally curly hair? I'm about to open a business soon and I would like a signature look for me. What do you suggest?
GABI👋 GREAT VIDEOS.👍👍👍👍 I HAVE THESE QUESTIONS FOR YOU : 1- WHAT'S YOUR FEEBACK ON PUTTING ORGANIC HENNA ON HAIR? 2- HAVE YOU TRIED RINSING YOUR HAIR WITH VINEGAR? FRIZZY HAIR 3-DO YOU STILL USE THE LASER CAP TO GROW HAIR? 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Hey!!! Thanks for watching and for the support! To answer your questions: 1. I have never used henna before and I don't know anything about it but this is AN AWESOME idea for a video. Let me do some research and I will get back to you and shout you out. Make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so you don't miss it. 2. I have never tried rinsing my hair with vinegar. I haven't done any of those natural remedies like vinegar, coconut oil or rise water....maybe worth a try. My hair is so fine that I get scared trying out things like that bc I'm worried it will weigh down my hair. Another great idea for a video. 3. Yes I do! I will do an update soon for you. My hair is growing like crazy after the transplant. My husband uses the laser helmet as well because he has noticed some thinning too.
Thank you so much for your insight! I'm 60 yrs old but I love the Bob. My problem is my hair is thick & naturally curly. I refuse to spend time straightening my hair. Often my hair comes out like a triangle but no height on top. And lastly, I'm not sure if it should be cut asymmetrically or not. Do you have any suggestions?
I have gotten out of wearing make up since the cove hit. I’m 69 I’m going to be 70 and I’d love to get back in wearing make up and looking good every day for just myself to make me feel better but I’m really struggling to get back into it. Do you have any suggestions?
Oh I really enjoyed looking at this video so much. I'm 64 with really good thick hair but all the hairdressers keep saying you have too much hair to be growing. Saddens me I can't find hairdresser who understands me 🍀🇮🇪

I am 65 and want to do whatever I can to look younger -- I don't care how I feel on the inside (which is 17), I want to look in the mirror and not be reminded I'm 65. I so appreciate videos like this that recognize older women exist, but don't want to be reminded that they do.
I feel sorry for you. You don't like yourself very much do ya ? No matter what you do to yourself you'll never be 17 again. Think of others & less on you & you'll grow. Time to leave the merry go round and help others.
@Jade From Bushwick Grow up.... You need a reality check. I'm tellin' it like it is and you can't swallow it. Too bad. We all get old including you. Develope a personality & you'll enjoy life more.. p. s. ... I am relaxed lol. You need to grow some hard skin.
I like the idea that having longer hair CAN make you look younger hair of course DEPENDING on the 💇♀️. I am 57 yrs. ago & I let my hair go gray about a year & half ago, I work in a factory so the cut has to have long layers to keep it out of my way but want a youthful cut .
Guess i must be doing something right, with my pixie cut and even no makeup, most think i am 40 to 41 lol 😂 Love Jamie Lee Curtis she has aged naturally and always rocked the pixie cut. She also doesnt plaster on the make up Less is more as one gets older, embrace who you are, aging is a gift not attained by many ❤
They have all got straight hair which is easy to cut and style.. My hair is frizzy and dry.. I've got it short now with layers it hard to get a good hairdresser who can cut hair..
Here's a saddish lesson...in our western (American and UK) life, the idea that being older is a something to be ashamed of from our very first birthday. Yhe words, "HOW OLD ARE YOU NOW?" is where the subliminal msg start...compare this with the Spanish "how many years do you have?" This subliminally says you HAVE something, and the more one HAS, the more lucky or honoured one is. The Chinese and Japanese also ask, "what is your age?" Again no mention of OLD implied. I could go on and on, but the bottomline is, American culture is one that seeks to shame persons for a whole range of things, and age is one such thing.
Wow! You are right, never hear anyone say an older lady can have long hair. I have very thick, that have decent volume and a natural wave. It was getting waaay to long, it was past my breasts. Now is just past shoulder. It looks soo much better.
OK I need to make an appointment with you! I’ve never found a stylist who takes my face shape into consideration. I’ve even asked that specific question before to no avail. What can I do??

I am 58 now and have long strong hair. I usually pick it up and have no bangs since several years. I have been tring to figure out a cut that would make me look a bit more colorful, since right now nothing frames my face... Its just easier with my hectik and busy life.
Thank you for this video Gabi, you gave some really good tips and I hope to figure something out!
By the way... Please, ignore the negative words some commenters have and keep on doing what you do! I love your channel and all the wonderful tips you have! ❤😊
To anyone having negative comments here....Why don't you just keep on clicking and go somewhere else!! 🙄🤐
that pic of jane fonda at 8:54 is a total wig, and shes been pulled more times that christmas taffy.
It's a wig too
Lol😁
I had short hair before. It was way more work to keep looking nice. Long hair is so much easier to take care of. Am I the only one who feels this way?
No you´re not. Long hair looks so much nicer on a woman and is so easy to take care of.
No I totally agree. I have 3 colicky and long hair is the only way for me to manage it. I'm 58 and just cannot bring myself to cut it off
I am glad that you have identified the fact women can still look good with longer hair!
Vicki Bruck by softer hair styles do you mean face framing layers pls?
Vicki: I don't understand why you needed a random stranger person online to give you permission to have longer hair.
Wigs
Haircuts for thinning hair over 50 with a round face has been my biggest issue. I'm really restricted for suitable styles
Love ❤️ your honesty and I am soooo relieved to be able to keep my long hair in my senior years. Thanks for all the great advice
In my opinion, shelly needs low lights put in through the middle and top of her hair. It would look much better.
I got to agree with Glam girl. Its too severe & looks like she gave up
I pull my hair up in an updo to give my face a lift. I don’t wear it tight but a little loose which adds volume and distracts away from the fact that my face is getting droopy. (58 years old)
This Video was Very Helpful . I just wished I would have found it before I went crazy and chopped my hair off. Lol
I am 51 and in the last Three years worth my hair chemistry changing it has been a struggle to find a hair style for me.
Stop people when you are out and ask them who cuts their hair and if they are taking new clients
Aging is not a curse but a gift you are still alive..better than the alternative 🤗
That was awesome! I love the visuals! I just turned 70 and have shoulder length hair. I want something different and might try bangs again. Thank you!
What is your opinion of the medium- length chopped/ textured/ messy bob for older women? (60s)
Here is the real issue. Finding someone who is creative and talented is tough.
If you're out and see a woman with a great cut, just go up and ask her who her stylist is. Most people are flattered and will tell you.
@@judithryan2958 This is a great idea! Thanks.
I'd love to see these hair styles on people other than celebrities. Thanks.
Well ,Jamie was never a looker but she knows how to promote her individuality.
Exactly! JLC rocks a pixie and owns her greys - and she looks fabulous!
She was not saying it was bad on her she was giving an example of not being able to hide our imperfections.
I know right? But I guess the agenda here is to create the "illusion" of looking like you're young. Won't be watching this channel again.
Yes, I admire Curtis's attitude about aging; unlike so many celebs, she looks natural, not strangely unhuman like so many who have work done.
Gabi, you are adorable! Thank you for caring about us older women. 💜
Made me laugh when you mentioned Jamie Curtis. By the standards of someone your age she has a lot of wrinkles. To a 70+ woman she looks good!
For me,58 years, the pixie is fantastic 😍
Same here at 64.
Loved your suggestions. I want to look my best, not youthful. Youth was gone a couple decades ago. I'm working with what I have to be the best I can look as an older person.
Thank you so much for the longer look. I love my layer long hair with a wave from and wave iron. It softens my lines in my face.
Excellent advice.
I’ve always believed in the power of a good haircut.
Thanks!
I really enjoy your common sense approach! Thank you for these videos.
Very Informational. I am 79 and struggle with my hair because it is thin. So I wear wigs and hair pieces. Your suggestions are helpful as to what style to buy.
Very good advice! Love the photos used to illustrate. Who doesn't want to look youthful?
I love your channel so much. You have built a really lovely community! At 60 I look best with a super cropped pixie because it takes years off of my tiny face (think Judy Dench). It's all about finding someone who will customize your pixie, make it work with your gray pattern if you are going with your natural color and, of course, how you style it. I never think of my hair as my "crowning glory" but as an accessory to be updated and played with.
I just found your channel, Gabi, and I'm learning a lot with you.
love your videos. can you or have you done one on going grey naturally and how to stay current. thanks
@@GlamGirlGabi It's fine but I have quite a bit...but thinning in front. Thanks for the suggestion, sounds good.
I wish all hairdressers had educated suggestions like you do! Most hairdressers don’t offer any ideas b/c it might take too much time; it’s just in and out!
It isn't Covid it is The Wuhan Virus!
Question, can I still get a perm or is this a no-no? I have really straight hair and humidity just takes any effort I make away.
I'm not tooling my hair lady.
Put a cap on for awhile. Tames it down. And do noT wash ev day ,dry on hot or
Go out in rain uncovered.
@Nancy Morris a flatiron
Layers are great unless you have thin hair. How do I get volume with such thin hair? It seems like to blow dry it and use volumizing products just causes it to break off. I am at my wits end!
Commenting on the ladies you talked about with old-fashioned haircuts ……these styles look very nice
Hi. Yes I love going to the hair salon. Talking to the hairdresser, makes my day. I like watching you video's.🌹♥️
@@jo-penford I love short hair
Hi just found you and love the advise you give…. New sub here xxx I’m in the UK and find it extremely difficult to find a good hairdresser that can actually cut long layers and style hair without using straighteners. Perhaps you could do a vid on how to find a good one and the red flags at consultations that we should be aware of ?
So this video was very informative. I really like the way you approached it and how ell you explained the different hair cuts and styles. Thank you 😍
What is best for a round face and curly hair on bottom, straight on top. I have had all lengths but need just the right cut/length during my aging process - I am 58 years old. Want to slim my face and look more youthful! I have bangs and will keep them.
Thanks for mentioning the long hair..its the first time i hear somebody confirming what i have always said. Good video. Thanks
Love it! I have had long hair all my life and always will… problem is I am 62 and only 40 year olds are interested in me…
I am hounded by my older sisters to cut my hair as I am old for long hair… oh well, I will have long hair if I live to 95!!
I have just turned 84 and have had longish hair for years which i find easy to take care of. Had it cut a few months ago and was horrified so now back to longer. I love pixies on other women but they make me look like a floor mop
THANK YOU for explaining why the layers!!!
I am enjoying seeing the videos you made before I found you on TH-cam! They are all great!!
Glad you like them!
Great video, Gabi ❤I say I'm aging gratefully because I'm grateful for each new exciting day I'm blessed with.🎉
This is so helpful! What do you advise for women who wear glasses and still want to cut bangs?
I agree with the comment about the emphasis on looking younger. Just look the best for your age.
Jamie Lee Curtis is beautiful. Her hair is beautiful.
GABI👋
GREAT VIDEOS.👍👍👍👍
I HAVE THESE QUESTIONS FOR YOU :
1- WHAT'S YOUR FEEBACK ON PUTTING ORGANIC HENNA ON HAIR?
2- HAVE YOU TRIED RINSING YOUR HAIR WITH VINEGAR? FRIZZY HAIR
3-DO YOU STILL USE THE LASER CAP TO GROW HAIR?
🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
Hey!!! Thanks for watching and for the support! To answer your questions:
Saddens me I can't find hairdresser who understands me 🍀🇮🇪
I am learning so much from your videos (I have been doing so much wrong for so long!) Thank You!

WHAT ARE THE BEST HAIRCUT STYLES FOR WOMEN WITH LESS HAIR ON THE CROWN AND TOP OF FOREHEAD.?

That is an excellent suggestion! Thank you so much for the comment. I’m going to look into this right away.
@@GlamGirlGabi This is EXACTLY what so many of us need to know....please consider this topic for us thinning women , love your videos
Vid was VERY helpful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I like the idea that having longer hair CAN make you look younger hair of course DEPENDING on the 💇♀️. I am 57 yrs. ago & I let my hair go gray about a year & half ago, I work in a factory so the cut has to have long layers to keep it out of my way but want a youthful cut .
Guess i must be doing something right, with my pixie cut and even no makeup, most think i am 40 to 41 lol 😂
Love Jamie Lee Curtis she has aged naturally and always rocked the pixie cut. She also doesnt plaster on the make up
Less is more as one gets older, embrace who you are, aging is a gift not attained by many ❤
They have all got straight hair which is easy to cut and style.. My hair is frizzy and dry.. I've got it short now with layers it hard to get a good hairdresser who can cut hair..
Suggestions for thin, fine hair with a pumpkin face?
@ Ingrid Mcfarlane - Excellent analogy of how various cultures view aging. Unfortunately you are absolutely correct about America's viewpoint.
How can we see the effect you are explaining if the lady doesn’t remove the mask?
Have her take a picture at home
