I was at all three shows in Philadelphia, PA on this tour. One in 1987 at JFK Stadium and two in 1988 at Veterans Stadium. Both venues are gone now. They opened with "Echoes" at JFK. The song was shortly dropped from the setlist for the rest of the tour. Every show was awesome!
I saw the Momentary Lapse of Reason tour in Madrid in 88 (a month before this video was shot). When the show first started we were pretty far back and one of my friends remarked that the sax player was hot. We worked our way to the front and he realized the truth. We busted on him for a long time after that! Oh, and it was a great show!!!!
I've always considered myself fortunate, i saw them in 75 Ivor Wynn Stadium, in 78 Montreal Olympic stadium, in 80 in New York, Dark side of the Moon, Animals, The Wall, after Waters left, sorta felt robbed because of their egos. Still listened to and enjoyed all the Pink Floyd catalog.
I would say that this is my favorite album by Pink Floyd, but that would be a lie! They all are! And don't get me started with their concerts. Which is your favorite concert?
I beg for this Release on 4K Ultra HD including the 5 "Bonus Tracks" in the right Setlist Running Order. And my Dream was a Release of the France Chateau Versailles.
Audio wise i still prefer the Live in Atlanta 87 version ,which of course was shortened in it's intro for original vinyl release and its ending shortened again for the Later Years Box Set with the "thankyou, thankyou very much..one more song here then were going to take a short break" taken out. It's been a while since i saw the original DSOT on VHS but i thought the live singing "Dogs of war and men of hate" was co-ordinated with Gilmour on the screen film. The remixed version here appears to omit that.
the dog has lived... the human doesn't... the human bleeds, steals and dies in self destruction... but if the human became more like the dog things could turn around...
Three words......
BEST. BAND. EVER.
Pink Floyd is more than a band it's a stellar experience..
Wonderful song, this version is stunning.
The best Band, I love them.

They should release the footage from there if they have it
@laurielo6447 I have a fan-made bootleg DVD of the JFK show. Poor video quality, but better than nothing.
Oh my luck, you are the best I want to see the atmosphere there at that time
Still have my father's original cassette
Still have your father too?
@@camel303 yeah, we listen to it almost every day
Big carbon footprint for pink floyd
I freaking love that concert.
Underrated song!
Greatest band ever!!!

If I had a time machine and could only use it once, this is when and where I'd go.

Awesome!😎
There are few sights as cool as the beautiful backup singers dancing to this classic.
When this album came out (A Momentary Lapse of Reason), I didn't like it, today I love it! I saw the band 10 times in Paris on that tour!
Scott Page's saxophone play truly ROCKS, full of passionate and shine on!

Very good ❤❤❤😂 Rick Astley's new hair style... I'll tell him. 🎉🎉🎉
Is this remixed reedited version of DSOT allrready available on Blu Ray? The link in the description does not show it.
Who is that girl on the right?
😎👍😉🤘🎼🖤☠️🥃⚡💀
The original audio was much better, dirty, heavier. This new one is " clean and soft "
This song feels like Pink Floyd trying to be Pink Floyd, but not quite pulling it off
What is going to be different about this version, if anything?
Thank you.
It's not a new version. It clearly says "2019 Remix." You're welcome.
They removed the gated reverb from the drums. It was an 80's staple that sounds really bad in 2025.
Thank you, Joel.
@wassupnomesayin I didn't state it was new.
@@joelmarksbury4376Thank you.
Сколько нас ребята таких - в 2025 году - всем привет 🤚💯
Pink Floyd and I convinced She-Hulk to join alcoholics anonymous.
So Mark Ruffalo is in AA? Good for her!
@wassupnomesayin nice one 😎
Roger was right. "A pretty fair forgery", so 80s, so cheesy, overdubs all over the place, especially noticable at 6:31
Roger was just as cheesy in the 80's with his band members and plenty of overdubs
Quite possibly one of the worst “Floyd” songs. This is so bad, loads of mullets, woo-hooing, and middle of the road, soft rock nonsense.
