Thinner Better than Samsung fold 6 , better than One Plus open , better than Google Fold, better Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, and most importantly it is higher tech than iPhone!
Yup, I bought one and been using for 3 months already. Physically it's awesomely thin for a foldable phone. The Magic OS interface only have minor issues when open, not all the apps can cattle it yet it's still great.
Our Magic V2 is an office phone and it goes through a lot of hands and everyone comes back saying how much they enjoy the phone! Honor did GOOD things!
This would have likely been the best foldable of last year if the cameras were better. The mix fold 3 and one plus open both have way better cameras especially the zoom. Other than that this thing is great
I loved this phones..much more better than the z fold 5 ... the only problem with this one, the PWM/Oled what gives Migraine /headache because the Oled" but otherwise almost perfect...i loved the camera. Btw Now the price is only 1340 Euros
Shame, that's awful to hear about your migraines but maybe your specifically sensitive to it, there is a Blue Light filter available on the phone, I'm sure that will help a little, I know of someone who had the same issue on their Samsung and the blue light filter helped a lot! Good luck!😁
I immediately thought the same thing but I realised that they probably can only make it so thin because there is a lot more space to fit things into it, if it were just the phone, it would be 50% less phone and 50% less space to put hardware in it🤷♂️
Id say samsun and google are at the bottom of the pile. There are other foldables that are beasts just not available in the west 😢 it seems they're not allowing them to get full google services 😂
Aaaah great! Thanks for the sub! 😎Yeah Honor did it right and is showing a lot of people how to do it properly but yeah, it's a very difficult decision to switch phone brands when your used to one brand! Honor is a good switch to consider👀
It's BEAUTIFUL....and that screen, having it in your hands, looks so good! But dude , put those scissors down, 😅..absolute monster! So paper floating phone video...when do we see that...!
Yeah, it's a great looking phone and even better looking in hand! I do what I want, its my scissors!😅 I reallyd did the floating on a paper but camera wasn't recording...such a shame!
Hectic...How is yours water and dust resistant😯! I see that Honor says they coated each internal component with P2i-Nano coating that protects against accidental spills but I don't think they can market it as Water resistant?🤷♂️
@@WeDoTech well I work in very dusty environments and have dropped the phone in a puddle 😂😂 it's still works. I don't unfold the phone when working in dusty places as if any grit gets in between the screen it will damage it as it folds flat. 👍 Not had any problems yet with the phone
Yeaah that makes sense, it's a lot of dollars not to have waterproofing...we come to expect it tough from every high end device but still a great phone to use!
I compared V2 with the vivo xfold3 3 weeks ago in China and decided for vivo because of price and camera setup. But V2 lowered prices to be competitive again. I paid roughly 900 euro for the xfold3.
Vivo X fold 3 pro is amazing just a shame its onky CN rom. Seen then lainch in India but its pricey compared to the CN rom. Would be nice to see if it makes it west 👍 if it does i guess itll be late in the year
@@chrisc2252 cn rom works well with me. But I don't use android auto what could be a deal breaker. honestly, even for free I would not flash for global rom. Because everything works for me just perfectly with origin-os
Nice Video!!!! I have had this phone since September(China ROM) and LOVE how light/thin it is(even with a case on). The software is not as sophisticated as Samsung's but the hardware innovation BLOWS theirs out of the water. I was able to get it off Swappa at the time for $1400 for the 512GB. Recently i was able to find an Ultimate Edition 1TB version which I bought off EBay and will sell this one. VERY VERY HAPPY with the Honor Magic V2 and Samsung + Google need to really kill it with the Fold 6 and Pixel Fold 2. 📱📱♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Yeah this isn't just another attempt at making a fold phone, the Honor V2 might be the new benchmark, and as you said, with it being so light and thin it fits so easily into your lifestyle. What do you think Honor can change when it comes to their software to bring it up to par with Samsung?
@@WeDoTech, thanks for the follow-up message! One thing I miss is being able to spilt apps horizontally(the option is is on my phone but I can't click on it). Another one would be to be able to save app pairs to a folder. But honestly, like said before it is AMAZING how light this is and it made me stop wanting to use my Pixel Fold(GREAT phone but felt like a HEAVY BRICK by comparison). You should do the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro if you have the chance; a FANTASTIC phone which I just got. Anyways definitely curious to see what the Honor Magic V3 has to offer(wireless charging + official water resistance?)
The Honor magic v2 really impressed me! Is there anything bad about this device that i missed?
Performance

Summed it up perfectly...!

Nice to have a South African review
Honor'erd to bring it too you...👀😅
Damn! That actually looks like a great phone
I prefer this over the Samsung Fold
NOICE....👀
We all do, it's just not available everywhere 🤬
This would have likely been the best foldable of last year if the cameras were better. The mix fold 3 and one plus open both have way better cameras especially the zoom. Other than that this thing is great
Yeah we are really enjoying it here in the office but the camera could get better!
How's the tech support
Yeah, it's a work in progress...

Wish they make normal phone this thin

Next level, can't believe its only 10mm thick. Might give Samsung a huge go in the future?
I think they are doing that already!
Id say samsun and google are at the bottom of the pile. There are other foldables that are beasts just not available in the west 😢 it seems they're not allowing them to get full google services 😂
Great video! You earnt a sub 😃. I am a samsung fold user here, but the honor magic v2 looks even better. Though, I am a fan of the samsung UI

Such a nice phone! I want one😂
Would be nice Neh!😎
That Z Fold ad tho 🤔
Yeah...what about it...?👀
I have this phone and it's amazing. Honor v3 is out now 😉 also the v2 is water and dust resistant well at least mine is 😂

No ip rating dont get water on it
Yeah it is a proper downside! Consumers are very used to waterproof products these days!👀
Im a klutz, so i will be waiting for z fold 6. Id rather not lose 1500 usd to some rain or a puddle
Yeaah that makes sense, it's a lot of dollars not to have waterproofing...we come to expect it tough from every high end device but still a great phone to use!
rain doesnt matter to this phone. trust me
Best foldable of 2024? It's a year old. Current best foldable of 2024 is the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
I that's very true, The Honor Magic only arrived in SA this year and I'm going on that...the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro hasn't even launched yet...
I compared V2 with the vivo xfold3 3 weeks ago in China and decided for vivo because of price and camera setup. But V2 lowered prices to be competitive again. I paid roughly 900 euro for the xfold3.

How to buy in USA?
You can order it here: amzn.to/4blB11S
You're do damn handsome 😍
The bad thing about the phone is that it doesn't run IOS... Or have an apple logo on the back 🤣
And here we can see the proverbial "there is always that one guy!"
Agreed !! Always one denier
