@angusor8718 yet the X Fold 3 has no stylus support. At least the V2 allows us to fully utilise the big inner screen as a tablet for notes and drawing

Just came upon your channel and I enjoy your detailed explanation & CHILL voice. I've had the Purple Magic V2 512GB since last September. For a while there, it was annoying as there was no Google Services so I had to use workarounds. But that did get solved after a bit, and I have LOVED using this. I had to sell my Pixel Fold because it felt like a BRICK compared to this. I was fortunate to find a Honor Magic V2 1TB version that comes with a stylus for $1200 on eBay so I bought it and will sell my 512GB one to mitigate the cost. I'm just wondering if you talk to your friends about phones and are interested in tech, bc thats what I do. Anyways I look forward to your channel blowing up!!! 🎉🎉

Are you sure you are running android 14? Any issues with the UI?
@@refrefwgwgwegew yes, its Android 14, Ive not noticed any UI issues so far. Mine is Chinese ROM Magic OS 8.0.
after it updated to 14 wothin 24hrs I received I received another update that fixed UI issues which I hadnt noticed any ways.

Yes it is. HONOR knows that they are ahead of Samsung when it comes to the better hardware, and they make us pay for the slimmer design and lower weight 😄

How are you finding the phone? What are your positive and negatives of the phone?
@@Readyplayerf1 it's a great phone and the camera is also great. The phone is very slim and good looking. I had the fold 4 and that was very heavy compared to that. The inside screen is also amazing giving you a great viewing experience. The phone also comes with a lovely case which is the same colour as the phone I have the purple one .
The main screen is also nice to use and you have a lovely screen protector inside and outside of the device. The phone is worth looking at I would say.

My question is : now there’s Android 14 & Magic OS 8 in this device, did you switch to the Magic V2 as your daily phone ?? 😋
Currently, i can get the Magic V2 for 1100€ in France which is a very competitive price ! The only issue, to me, is the quality of the photos/videos… not so amazing…
I’m waiting August 13th to see what Google reserves with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, to make a decision… And good bye Apple and iOS !!
Have you already decided? If not, maybe it's worth waiting for the Honor Magic V3? Sure, more expensive but maybe better in camera and definitely again thinner than it's predecessor.

I wish more foldable options were available for the US i haven't taken the dive yet because of lack of options
Owning a Global model in the US (on TMobile) it is a real change and I am enjoying as a daily driver. I have run into a few quirks with the OS but have found solutions for all so far. Honor needs to drop the iOS morph they built in - it makes the Settings a bit odd. IMO.

The Honor Magic V2 seems like a very good phone, overall. From your (probably) limited time with it, what percentage of time did you use the full large screen versus the regular front screen? Curious if the added cost and bulk of a foldable is actually worth it.
I would say 70% of the time I used the outer display and 30% of the time the inner display. For me personally these 30% are definitely worth the extra money.
I really want a Samsung competitor. Tired of being ripped off. Does this support wireless charging? Stylus out here in Europe?

Great video, because of the stylus I did not buy it and knowing that the updates are not for sure (android system) I guess I'll be looking for another choice (not Samsung) because the front display is too narrow.
