HELLO???? THE SMOOTHENESS, THE WAY YOU'VE PLAYED AROUND WITH LIGHTING, THE STUNNING CAMERA WORK, THE EXPRESSION CHANGES AND OCCASIONAL LIPSYNC??? The improvement from last video is palpable! It looks amazing!!! I'm obsessed with some of the details you've included, like the way they all bounce when running and carrying the club. I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite part, but 2:42 all the way to the end of the Athena sequence with the light turning red again to indicate him ending the quick thought and the frame at 3:24 are pretty damn good. Can't wait to see what else you make!

This is actually incredible. Disjointing the arm from the slot to get a better range of motion does a LOT for the fluidity and body language here, and it's a very clever technique. The increase in quality between the last one and this one is absurd, and I'm OBSESSED. This might be my favorite recreation of Remember Them I've ever seen. Editing cuz I NEED to talk about the Cyclopes scene. 2:15 is such a chilling visual, Polyphemus alone, eye gouged out. He's surrounded by darkness, because that's all he can see anymore. That's _bleak,_ and it makes the following scene all the more heartbreaking for him.

everything about this is so unbelievably stunning?? the animation itself and how smooth it is, the changes in expression and how seamless they are, the attention to detail when characters are gesturing, the framing, composition, cinematography, choreography, lighting, just. absolutely *everything.* the amount of fluidity and impact especially with the club sequence is out of this WORLD. i don't even think i possibly could pick a favorite moment, but i think the trident in red lighting at the end is a close contender someone needs to get this in front of jay yesterday, this is CRIMINALLY underrated and easily *the* best EPIC animation ive ever seen

THIS IS INSANE WHATTT omg the amount of thought that went into this!! The cinematography is stunning and the details are incredible (odysseus' hair moving in the wind?? FANTASTIC). The transition to and from quick thought is also so cool, i love the difference in lighting and the fact that odysseus can almost conjure up the image of the infant since it's in his mind. Absolutely phenomenonal work 👏👏

Your Polyphemus + Survive was so smooth that my only complaint was that the way they talked was just them moving their hands so it was a bit funny to me but here you used different heads to make them talk and that must've taken a lot of effort and time so good job man!
This is awesome. I always felt like Cyclops Saga wasn't getting enough love from the animators. I loved your Polyphemus/Survive one and this one is even better. The camera shots are so sick. I keep rewatching 1:07-1:50

I teach stop motion to kids with Lego. It's incredibly tedious and takes an insane amount of patience and creativity. This shit is impressive as hell.
I remember I did a summer course YEARS ago… it was a ton of work for our amateur results. I can only imagine how difficult higher level ones are.

Animatics are like story boards. They aren't meant to be detailed. They're what's made before actual animation. Stop motion takes precise changes.
