Nice work. The lift and forklift made the tank removal easy. Swapped mine on my Landrover in my drive. Was not fun. Blue air. Glad to see that subtle work with a lump hammer is still part of the art of fixing modern cars.
Another great video Nelly. I bought a dent removal kit and a wing to practice on, well it cant be that hard can it? Sold the kit after 6 months, the wing I was practising on looked like it had been in an I.E.D explosion when I'd done 😂. There's definitely an art to it for sure. Cant fault the new impact gun!
Great content and very useful for me as I'm just about to do mine I've got red polly bushes for the subframe I'm tempted to go mad and go full coil over but not sure if its worth the expense and I've just started fitting a black leather 155 electric interior that I got off eBay last week looking forward to part 4
@Italia Autos I know you're probably a very busy person, but I was wondering if you could help me out on a sort of personal project involving a 156 1.6 that I'm taking on, I bought the car with the only problem being that the speedo wasn't working, turns out when I got home I realised I had been scammed pretty hard and the car actually has quite a few problems, I know you're quite wise on these cars which is why I came to you, I was hoping you could help me figure out the problems and I could even buy some parts from you if it makes sense logistically, I was even planning on doing a few videos showing how I fix the problems, while obviously linking to your channel. Thank you!
Neil am I right in assuming that the front and rear suspension and subframe work on the 155 is the same as the Fiat Tempra ? Also is it true that you need to align the front subframe with dowels ?
Hej , Do you know where the oil level sensor is located on a alfa 159 2.0 jtdm? It shows low on startup and on the dipstick is the level ok Thx in advance
My alfa 147 1.9, has problems starting, i mean it starts! But does not start well, takes a good second or 2 to start, the glow plugs are fine, so I'm guessing the starting motor is not good? Is there anything else to check before i buy a new starting motor?
Always a pleasure watching these great videos.Only one problem it has created a lust for an Alfa.If I may pick your most knowledgeable brain where would be a good to purchase from.Scottish borders on the east side. Many thanks.
it would be easy to knock rust on near quarter-century-old Alfas with 150k miles. ... but to be fair, that's no worse than my old Audi... if anything probably a bit better. so glad you are having that shot-blasted rather than attempting to do it by hand. Rust removal is a shitty job.

I was also thinking of trying it but decided against it. Got loads of old panels.
@@ItaliaAutos have a go pal..just don't buy a cheap eBay kit like I did. They're really not up to it.
As always, such a nice work. Well done Neil!
Thanks
Would love to see more of the paintless dent removal next time Neil. That's some skill.
Noted!
I'll second that notion. It's one of those miraculous things that I'd love to learn
@@steveoc64 you should watch 'Man of Steel PDR' channel on here...mind blowing what he can do.
@@alancampbell1008 found. That's incredible stuff.
I love your Ossidazione Milanese make up!
Lovely Jubbly, coming along nicely Neil.

As always Neil, great video......
Glad you enjoyed it

That rear subframe is exactly the same as my multipla.
I think they share a floor pan, amongst other parts.
Yep.
Brava also,as it has a box chassis.
So satisfying :)

I'd probably try and buy a car from down south. Scottish alfas tend to rust far more cus of the weather in my experience....
Is there pt 4 as yet ?
It's all finished it's going back to its owner today sorry no part 4
