If you dont have a steamer just get a pot, put little water into it and let the heat vapor the water it will cause steam and then u can use a cup or whatever u have in house to curve. After steamed Wrap the hat around the cup as demo and then add 2-3 rubber bands, Let the hat sit for 1-2 hours
@@FunkoChimp last season i attended a ballgame and went to their shop to try on hats to get my head size. As i was trying them on i would slightly bend the brim and noticed by doing that the hat fit differently. Felt slightly larger. Would you confirm bending the brim does this? Also, over time do the hats shrink or expand?
@ThisNamesNowTaken definitely does make the size slightly larger. I mean I wouldn't say it necessarily gets bigger in size but def does fit better. If you think about it where the corners of the brim meet the hat the corners will create a slight gap. By bending the brim it takes those little gaps out of the corners of the hat and will fit better IMO. Next time you put on your flat brimed 59fifty take your index finger and feel the gaps where the corners of the brim meet the sweatband and see how much space is there. That's how much space you're losing by keeping it flat. I now bend my brim slightly and takes away that tight feeling and now no more red lines across the forehead!!!
Those obvious visible fingerprints he left on the brim is why I stopped letting lids/hatclub stores curve my hat. Do it yourself, it's easier. Wash your hands.
I work at for lids for 4-5 months corporate wanted us to charge them for curving the hat but don’t bring up ! So basically we asking to curve there hat and not telling them the fee 🤣💀 lids corporate will desperately for a fucking 5 dollar feee 💀
You don’t get the same curve trust me I’m ok school bend the brim until about 4 years ago when I learned the steamer tric.. it makes the brim curve perfect
They stay curved if you can leave it like that for like an hour or two. I used to just steam and then bend it with something to create the curve and I would do it for like 30 seconds but then they would always start to go back straight, one time I used rubber bands and left it curved on a bottle for like an hour maybe it was a little more and it stayed curved for a while, like months, and even still barely even went back to normal. People say that’s too long but from my experience they stay curved way longer so you don’t have to keep repeating this process.
Leads employees are not allowed to curve it's a felony this employee in this video was fired I have receipts and proof this is the used to police routine of 55 and were paid by TH-cam you see fitteds are a license product you can't do anything to them you shouldn't want to because they decrease value but people are idiots so the guy that did this was fired actually this store is no longer there that's how bad this was

This really is one of the best and fastest methods to get a great curve on a brim .

Would have liked to seen the end result. Been wanting to get a low profile New Era and take it to Lids to do this
sure i will make a video, its been like 6 months since i made this and the hat was still curved.

Truth
Those color ppl are usually dirty
What visible fingerprints?
Notx curve band
I use a steamer and just use some thick rubber bands to get the perfect curve. Works all the time
I love this store
I do that but i went the extra mile and bought a new era “brim bender” idk what its actually called😂 and ill put it on the brim for a longer time
I’ve boiled water on the stove and hold it over the pot of water. Works great
So lids curves it for you
I just buy already curved brim hats or dad hats they also fit better imo
Man I Would Love To Have That Hat In The Demo.
Then buy it lol wtf u mean
I could do the shi right their I rubber bands no nothin😂
I keep mine straight
Are we starting to be the minority?
@@angelgregio100%
Straight all day
40 oz bottle works perfect
I tried this method and it came out perfectly, but after 2/3 days the brim start to straighten back. What should I do to make it permanently curved?
They sell brim benders on Amazon that can bend them.
Keep rubber bands on it for a long period of time.
That’ll be $10 extra sir
yes it’s bs they charge for this lol

How much was the cost to get it curved like that ?
I went a couple of days ago and they told me $5 each hat
I got it free of charge, this was a year ago
Curve your own hat....wuss.
I went yesterday the lady on the counter told me $5 , but I got my own steamer.
That’s too much you might as well buy a golf hat. All you need is a little wave
May sumilip na buwan 😂😂✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
How NOT to curve the hat. Only the real ones know to curve from the back corners, never curve the front
That’s right you only need a little curve. At that point of the video might as well buy a golf hat

Lol you think your dad's was curving hats like this, it's simple follow the middle lines on the brim and you will get the perfect curve
This is free or paid? I just got two hats and the guy charged me 5 dollars for each hat. It should be free get a hat that fits the way you want.
Take the sticker off brohh

I keep my straight as well ruin a perfect hat
That is a violation to a 59Fifty
Nahh. It's an offical on field base hat. Anything goes. But the real violation is to not bend it.
I’m old school, therefore, YES to the bend!!!
