Been in LA 6 years no one ever stepped to me about a hat. I have seen them get on people top for being from different hoods. I wore red a lot in the downtown area even though i was warned not to. Ironically it saved me one day. Overall LA is like a huge mental institution. People get blasted for no reason everyday. Lately i wear blue more because it seems safer.
