Going into the game that day I think he need 4 hits to get to 1000 and ended up going 5-6 or something like that. The grand slam too like you mentioned. Man, what a game. One of, if not the best, I've ever been too.

Absolutely great moments, especially when the opponent misses a throw or a catch. Those are the ones you really want to remember. And then Yordan against Seattle in the ALCS in a game the Astros, admittedly, should have lost, that was pure legend!
Minute Maid Park is one of the most underrated ballparks in MLB! That place must be around till at least the year 2100!! Unbelievable place and an Unbelievable Atmosphere! It’s like attending a big party especially in the Postseason!
My favorites were the Bogusevic grand slam and Pence hitting a walk off single against Kenley. I remember the commentary exactly: LINE DRIVE….. OVER FURCAL!!

I saw somebody talk about the ultimate grand slam When you're down 3 runs. NO. The ultimate grand slam is if/when you hit one in the bottom of the 9th inning with a full count 2 out with the bases loaded in Game 7 of a freaking World Series. NO ONE Has ever done that. THAT IS THE ULTIMATE GRAND SLAM.
