@@andiparker3733 there’s a video that they did on it
Man I love the dark clone armor
What's next, a THRAWN TV show?
“So Dave, how wholesome and dark do you want this episode to get?”
Filoni: “Yes.”
That's basicly all of his shows
nah he shied away from the clones being dark on tcw hes only noe getting to teh good stuff
realistically clones whould have bombed an invaded more cis worlds and not all of that had to be droids
finally he gets darker
@@kR-qj7rw you are right
Filoni: “Yes, I will have Crosshair kill civilians”
@@TheAntiYuu
Writing crew and audience: "WHAT?"
Dave Filoni: "uhhhh..LOOK! Omega got a new room. Isnt it cute :D"
Man really brought a flamethrower as his primary to a forest environment. They must have been real confident of their aim lol
Or he had no confidence in his aim and just thought "screw it, burn everything down!"
Don't think the empire minds some collateral damage
I think think that trooper wasn't a "man".
We can see on board the ship where they had their helmets removed one of the female troopers was holding the flamethrower, so I think she was the one who was using it during the battle.
But yeah, interesting choice of a weapon xd
It was a rainforest, living plants have a natural resistance to fire, flamethrowers are good for distractions and many other things
or maybe they don't care?
Wrecker making Omega her own room is so wholesome.
Him putting blankets up to child proof it is even more wholesome.
I actually teared up a little, it was so sweet!
Crosshair killing those civilians really touched me too. Very wholesome moment. This episode was very wholesome.
Teared up at that part.
@@RiotnRespect so beautiful
Crosshair is becoming more ruthless each time they examine him. He’s actually giving me Winter Soldier vibes and I like it. The rest of the batch getting more comfortable with Omega is great, especially Wrecker making her her own room
Bucky is a great metaphor for Crosshair, almost the same backstory if you think about it
@@willdavey6570 Very true. Both soldiers who are expert snipers part of a special squad until they fall into the wrong hands and are brainwashed into following orders they would never do under their own free will. You can see when they’re examining Bucky in the vault that he’s remembering more of his past life and begins questioning his actions and the look Crosshair has on his face in the barracks he’s following orders, but he doesn’t look happy about it
I feel like it's not even the empires manipulation that much, I genuinely think this is just who crosshair really is. His behavior feels like a lot more than just a chip making him follow orders
@@apassionatenerd.3564 I mean? We know how absurdly overwhelming the Inhibitor chips are. Even Faulty ones. And every clone in that facility is operating with an active chip, and they still can be goaded into food fights. Rex and Jessie both continued to show elements of their own personalities while ruthlessly being compelled to act in accordance to their programming. With Rex genuinely attempting to hunt down and kill Ashoka, and Jessie dogmatically following orders that he knew would result in both him and his brothers deaths.
@@cardbutton892 Exactly, even when Crosshair wasn’t being controlled with his inhibitor chip he was shown to be something of a loner even amongst his squad and he wasn’t the type to blindly follow any order. When the bad batch went on the mission to Skako Minor, Crosshair was the one who questioned if Echo was alive or if it was a trap. He went through with the operation but he hardly showed blind obedience like he is now
“Officially, there never was a 'Clone rebellion' on Kamino. Unofficially, approximately twenty years after we were created, a special detachment of the Imperial 501st Legion was dispatched to Kamino with orders to eradicate an army of clones that had been bred to take arms against the Empire. Our mission commander, an expert on the inner workings of Kamino, was a young bounty hunter named Boba Fett."- 501st Journal
What I remember about the rise of the Empire is ... is how quiet it was.
During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip. We all knew what was about to happen, and what we were about to do.
Did we have any doubts? Any private, traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word.
Not on the flight to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple.
Not a word.
There was a novel too where describes what happens to the Bad Batch after Order 66 was given and it was hell different from what we are seeing.
The bad batch was then give new armors, more Empire like looking and a new member was added (Not Echo or Omega) who lately take the leader position and yes, they’re evil and a spec ops team of the Empire that probably were deploy to track down vital objectives like the rebel cells or some Jedi that were able to escape order 66.
That novel about the Camino clone rebellion could change too, after all, the show already include Camino and his relation whit the empire and put the pieces together about what could happened whit this 2 in the future, the posture of the Empire to substitute the clones whit recluits and train them whit expert clones as well the Camino to try to prove they clones are heavily superior to any other posible army that existed (which, honestly, they’re damn right) and currently seeking a way to prove it.
I honestly prefer this curse for the Bad Batch because they are explaining in more detail what’s going on whit the clones, why they react like aggressive and rude (at the time the E-III was released, order 66 was think to be the order to kill every Jedi and that’s it) against everyone who’s not their superior only if he’s acting weird too (Like Jesse whit Rex arguing about Ahsoka not being Jedi and Crosshair argue whit Hunter for his behavior) and how extended was this order 66 because clones try his best to kill any lightsaber users except Anakin and Palpatine and we can see this whit Ahsoka and whit Maul (both aren’t Jedi) as well to obey whit any exception and be very violent, as we see whit Senator Organa, the medical droid and civilians in general.
We never see what’s going on whit the Caminoans (other than the novel show us and the 501st battle agains the Caminoans and their army) and in the movie those details weren’t clear.
I find it very interesting how the Prime Minister as well the Medical in charge are very perceptive about the posible curse of action that the Empire could take and te fact that they’re no longer working whit the Republic or accesible people. From his point of view, they’re neutral about anything, but if they see a new better client, they’ll definitely will cut relations whit the Empire or at least, they will provide whit effectives to their new client (could be their own clones or a new Rebeld cell) while they give the Empire a diversion.
Could be interesting to see Boba in the show too, a way the Bad Batch show him some tricks.
@@unincognito3689 he's talking about republic commando book series more so I believe omega squad. This tv series takes a lot from the Legends book series. The kid was also in the book but she wasn't a clone she was a Jedi.

@@General_Arcturus506 yeah I know but we can only hope he was stretching it out so he could stay behind 😂
@@General_Arcturus506 yeah, we know. It’s more about what that hit from the crash landing might’ve done to his chip. It possibly reactivated it. Wrecker has endured worse pain, he literally got shot two eps earlier, which is why we’re all worried about what his headache really meant.
The dark tone of Crosshairs story is just what I want, and is perfectly contrasted with Omega’s uplifting stance on the world
For such a Dark Episode that part with Wrecker saying "We're gonna die we're gonna die...we're........gonna be...fine" 7:38
one of the best moments
I think it was pretty funny
I appreciate that Omega didn't have to be rescued when she went after the animal, like you'd expect a child character to need. She took Hunter's gun to defend herself, got the component, and even solved the problem without violence.

Complexity of the human experience. Can't have some light without the dark, and viceversa.
friendly reminder that wrecker is afraid of hights. so he fought against his fear to make sure that omega wouldn't be scared during the crush
Funny, he wasn't afraid of crashing in Clone Wars.

@@thewerewolff7248 That's true, good point.
Definitely my favorite episode so far. Crosshairs wiping out Gerrera’s enforcers was brutal, and I’m worried that Wrecker’s chip might be going off after he hit his head. Definitely a darker episode than the last two, so I’m excited to see where the show goes from here
Crosshair's voice is so badass
Agreed. It's perfect for the character, just stays so cold and disconnected.
@@iainxl8040 DBB said that he based his voice on a coiled snake, its perfect for Crosshair
I’ve NEVER heard a character sound more like a snake lol.
If Wrecker says "good soldiers follow orders" we are in trouble.
always love hearing crosshair's voice. idk if its meant to sound like the original boba voice, but its certainly what it makes me think of. always gives me goosebumps just a little
The way he says "Good soldiers follow orders" after he kills the imperial, with the ominous build up music. Pure chills. Very quickly becoming a favourite villain for me
In an interview, Dee Bradley Baker said he modeled Crosshair's voice after a hissing viper ready to strike which actually fits rather brilliantly.
"it's like the ewok mission in BF2" I felt this reference at this moment so hard :D
Space Vietnam with Killer Teddy Bears
FUN FACT: Jonathan Lipow is the voice of Wrecking Ball in Overwatch and Dee Bradley Baker is the hamster driver Hammond in Overwatch.
There’s actually even more coincidences with Overwatch. Matt Mercer voices McCree in OverWatch and also voices Luke in EA’s Star Wars Battlefront 2. Genevieve O’Rielly voices Moira in Overwatch and plays Mon Mothma in Star Wars, live action and animation. Jennifer Hale voices Ashe and has done the voice for Aayla Secura in Clone Wars and Bastila in the KOTOR games. She’s done many voices in Star Wars and did additional voices in Clone Wars and was also in Star Wars Resistance.
So Aaron is Crosshair according to the opening...
Should we be worried? XD
I always worry about Aaron 😛
Dave...eheheh, always though he was a bit WEAK.
It could have been ........him 😔
Not as long as you follow orders.
Again I still can’t get over the pureness of omega. My fav character and I love the relationship between her and the bad batch. It’s like hunter is the dad and the rest are the uncles with reckor as the fun uncle 😂😂
Really? I can’t believe you are even comparing her to the bad batch
I mean, in truth, they are technically all her brothers, sorta.
As well as she being their sister.
After all they are all clones.
So it's not so much a father-daughter like relationship, but more of a big brother-little sister relationship.
It’s like Full House, but a million times better.🤣
@@ihaveafettfetish9348 now there’s an intro I wanna see😂😂
This one was way better than episode 2 imo, I think they should keep the perspective switches between the Bad Batch and the Empire for as many episodes as they can.
This episode was better because of episode 2. Each episode builds up to the next.
I wish they start showing more of the Empire's side of the story. Because we barely got anything about them other than novels and comics. I want to see the battles they go through.

if Omega gets hurt I will actually throw hands with Dave Filoni
Better hope she's not force sensitive then, since the most important force users seem to always end up losing their limbs.
On the flip side she'd get a cool robo prosthetic.

If Dave Filoni gets hurt I will throw hands with you. Three hands.
Meh we don't know her enough to be that defensive.

The point that the Kaminoans were saying is that they need Omega cuz she was the current Kaminoan experiment to create a new genetically altered clone
I remembered when the trailer for The Bad Batch people though it looked liked a kids show, now I just them to watch that scene where Crosshair orders a his troops to gun down and burn civilians.
People thought Rebels and Clone Wars were for kids too
@@bemasaberwyn55 rebels was more so (most notably slicing blasters instead of people) but it also had some dark ass moments
Rebels is definitely a kids show. They dont’t even show stormtroopers dying by blasters, I hate it, but this show, this is my Star Wars, I love the dark tone, hope they don’t slow down
@@legohunter77 I stopped calling calling it a kids show after enough decapitations.

3rd episode of Rebels: We're bringing in a few original trilogy cameos
3rd episode of the clone wars: We're stopping a battle station
3rd episode of Bad Batch: KILL THE CIVILIANS!!!
I appreciate the resistance inclusion despite it being y’know... resistance
3rd episode of the movies: KILL THE YOUNGLINGS!
I love this family dynamic for Omega. Hunter is Dad. Wrecker is the rough, strong, protective big brother that's really just a big softie. Echo and Tech are like MY big brothers. Brilliant, but somewhat emotionally and/or socially aloof.
This episode being simultaneously wholesome yet dark af has me nervous yet so excited for how their stories turn out
the ending was a great foil. Omega gets her new room with the bad batch, a place she feels she belongs, while crosshair goes back to his old room (now cleaned) with his new squad and feels out of place and alone.
Funny how the Empire thinks that crosshairs new squad followed through with the mission out of blind loyalty. In realty, their were motivated by fear.
A nice detail I noticed is that it seems the crosshairs squad fire red blaster bolts now, since they'd be shooting people and not droids which was apparently an actual difference between the blue and red
Yes, blue bolts are ion lasers
@@sirboomsalot4902 beat me to it
I love the voice DBB does for crosshair it's so creepy and menacing
I wonder if that female in Crosshair's new squad is related to Iden Versio or if Filoni threw that in as an Easter egg. She looks just like her.
Also, Vice Admiral Rampart is voiced by Noshir Dalal, who voiced Charles Smith in RDR 2 and did some va the PS4/PS5 Spider-Man games.
And he also voiced Varko Grey in Squadrons, and Rass Ordo in The Old Republic's recent Mando-centric flashpoint.
Maybe Fennech?
That was the first thing I thought too was Iden Versio. Could be the start of Inferno Squad.
She looked just like Iden Versio. Probably is the beginnings if Inferno Squad
Same
Crosshair being the primary host for the Death Troopers is very likely. Tall and lanky with good aim.
So happy to see Samuel Kim getting some recognition
According to TV Tropes, even in his brainwashed state, there's still at least _some_ of the old Crosshair in there, because he misses his old squad, as much as they miss him 🥺😔.
Once again, the DAD Batch is back at it! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️.
YO!!!!!!!
The new intro with the group in the bad batch armor is now my instant favorite, keep that intro from now on, every time a new bad batch episode drops.
Wrecker is quite resourceful on making Omega’s room and it is a sweet way to end a chill episode. Also, I’m kinda worried that Wrecker’s injury can mean so much significance, but we’ll see how their journey goes.
This was my favorite episode so far. A big part of it, it's because it mostly takes place in dark settings and I LOVE the lighting on this show. Also, seeing the transition from clone troopers to storm troopers it's pretty dope. Specially with Tarkin involved, you can never get enough Tarkin.
I love how Eric noticed that they were using red blaster fire instead of blue. I feel like this helps solidify that blue is meant to be used on droids whereas red is more effective against organics, since Kamino would have a surplus of blue ammunition, and they knew they'd be targeting people instead of droids.
I love how well the writers handle character knowledge regarding the inhibitor chips. Even though the audience (who watch The Clone Wars) understands them, the Bad Batch knows almost nothing about them. Even details that seem obvious are a surprise to them.
I’m so glad they’re showing that just because it’s an “order” doesn’t mean it’s right, and sometimes the good soldiers say “no.”
This episode is so far one of the Darkest episodes we've seen so far especially with Crosshair and his squad killing off the fighters on Onderon.
Plus, the ending when Wrecker created a room for Omega was sweet. Looking forward for the next episode coming next week.
The animation in the crash landing this episode was fantastic!
Calvin is back!!!!

I love that this episode had both a dark moment and a wholesome moment.
YEEESSSSSS! I fucking LOVE Samuel Kim's music! Such a great choice for the intro...holy crap that got me torked for this reaction
I find it hilarious that the original stormtroopers who have infamously bad aim are being trained by Crosshair.
I think those will be dark troopers
@@zeb9826 i think thats the beginnings of inferno squad

15:33 Rick: “Just don’t grow anymore” lmao
The ending to this episode was just so dang cute!! 🥰 🥰 Wrecker is so sweet. Also, is anyone else worried that Omega’s comment about not having to use the blaster is major foreshadowing for later?
The thing with Crosshair reminds me of comments I've heard about both Bucky, in Winter Soldier mode, and Grant Ward, after the reveal in season 1 of Agents of SHIELD. Closeups on the faces of Sebastian Stan and Brett Dalton in those moments have often had people commenting something like:
"Those are not the eyes of a man who's happy with his life."
Yooo that intro was dope. I love the fact that they do stuff like that
I don't have my hopes high but if we ever get another Delta Squad cameo I will probably shit my pants
See right off the bat these guys are talking about exactly what I was thinking about.
Crosshair straight up merked those rebels
I'm interested to see more of the Imperial Elite Squad. They seem cool, and perhaps through them, we could see more of the imperial perspective beyond Crosshair's blind obedience, and the doubts that the rest of the squad may or may not have.
In the event *Wrecker's* chip forces him to turn against the group, endearing *Omega* to *Wrecker* may provide just the thing that gives *Wrecker* pause at a key moment.
Honestly, for a family show, it’s been such a long ass time since we’ve gotten the real “Dark violence” vibe ever since The Clone Wars. We’ve seen ppl get shot through the chest, stabbed and sliced with lightsabers- Rebels is nothing compared to the classic violence because it has to be Disney’d down to younger viewers. It felt very nostalgic and yet chilling to watch that scene with cross hair and the rebels phew
The only time Rebels came close to being violent was during the Mandalore episodes when they used Sabine's weapon to incinerate Mandalorians through their beskar armour. That and Kanan's death
That’s why I don’t mind watching rebels, this is the Star Wars I want to see, specially since it is about the empire’s foundation, of course it should be this dark and I love it!!! Hope Disney doesn’t start pressuring Filoni to reduce the violence, I don’t want this to be another Rebels, yuck
Since episode 1, I’ve had this gut feeling that based on the reaction the Kaminoans had to Tarkin suggesting that the Empire may move away from clones, could we see an actual canonized event based on the Battlefront II (2005) Campaign mission; “Changing of the Guard”?
Honestly, the smile I have every time I think of it only gets bigger.
Could we see a “Kaminoan Rebellion”?
Could we see Tipoca City destroyed?
It's dark but I love this so much more then rebels were they're kinda shy with showing everything including death , it's a war after all
fun fact, Admiral Rampart is voiced by the same actor who played Charles in Red Dead Redemption 2
Love the: ''the blind batch intro''
I really hope that we see omega grow up and get her own Clone Armour. That would be so cool
Crazy theory what if the first procedure removed crosshairs chip and he is completely in control, its just what he wants to do. Thats what the twist for the bad batch will be.
Obi as Omega in the opening credits 😂👌
That's awesome that you got Sam to do music for you.
And hell Yeah @BlindWave Calvin is back ive missed Him we all have missed Him😇🤠🙂
Good dark episode.. I'm so invested in Crosshair story arc it's going to be bad ass.
Loved how Crosshair straight up kills member of saws squad for not answering his question then does same to one of his own for not following his order to wipe out rest saws squad & civilians
I like how the flamethrowers in star wars have that knarly growl before going full dragon status. Also, rip the civies who heard said growl seconds before being torched
Crosshair is given Cad Bane vibes.
Literally just watched the episode myself; perfect timing
Something I want to mention about Dr. Pershing is that he's a human; we haven't seen any humans working in the cloning process on Kamino. If they want to go with the Kamino revolt story it could set up with replacing the Kaminoan cloners with humans. This could also be a to connect Omega being Force sensitive and Pershing trying to figure it out...the Kaminoans might've taken the secret to their grave. We know the Empire has no qualms with genocide of a whole nonhuman species (the Geonosians).
_"Officially, there never was a clone rebellion on Kamino. Unofficially, approximately twenty years after we were created, a special detachment of the Imperial 501st Legion was dispatched to Kamino, with orders to eradicate an army of clones that had been bred to take arms against the Empire. Our mission commander, an expert on the inner workings of Kamino, was a young bounty hunter named Boba Fett."_
_"The bounty hunter left after the battle was over. He said something about tracking down a smuggler on Tatooine. After the Kamino uprising, the Emperor decided that an army of genetically identical soldiers was too susceptible to corruption. Future troopers would be cloned from a variety of templates. Though the 501st itself remained pure, the rest of the Imperial Army gradually became more and more diverse. We never really got used to the new guys."_
After watching the series again, I believe this is the episode that explains Crosshair. The procedure observed by Tarkin is when the chip was removed. He comments on if the desired results will last. Second, I see the mission as another Tarkin test…if Crosshair doesn’t complete the mission, he could just be killed by the new soldiers and Tarkin would be fine with that. My final thought is that having his skills and authority questioned by his replacements changed the “good soldiers follow orders” mantra into a survival theme for Crosshair. He HAS to be better than everyone else or he has no purpose. Tech basically says that in the final episode. He feels alone and hurt…which he also considers weaknesses. He’s conflicted because he wants to be with his brothers again.
If you remember when wrecker holds his head it's the side of where the inhibitor chip is
I say good job for that blonde trooper that crosshair shot he had some compassion
I'm loving these custom intros
I like how Omega goes in the tunnels with a Torch and Blaster, Like a nod to the "Tunnel Rats" of Vietnam........
This is kinda of a big Vietnam reference from a certain point of view
the ending where wrecker built omega's room will be more saddening if wrecker's chip activated because of that "headache"
21:26 There is actually a Planet called Ordo, wich is, surprise surprise, located in the Mandalore system
This is why I love blind wave. I thought I was the only one that immediately thought of Canderous Ordo lmao. Currently playing KOTOR 2, just finished KOTOR and absolutely adored it
Hawkeye: War isn’t Hell. War is war, and Hell is Hell. And of the two, war is a lot worse.
Father Mulcahy: How do you figure that, Hawkeye?
Hawkeye: Easy, Father. Tell me, who goes to Hell?
Father Mulcahy: Sinners, I believe.
Hawkeye: Exactly. There are no innocent bystanders in Hell. War is chock full of them - little kids, cripples, old ladies. In fact, except for some of the brass, almost everybody involved is an innocent bystander.
The chain codes were also mentioned in the beginning of "Solo".

Ah, I love Samuel Kim's channel. He's done a lot of great Star Wars mixes/arrangements. And speaking of music, regarding David Collins, he used to have a really cool podcast about the soundtracks although unfortunately the series stopped right after Rogue One.
BEST INTRO I HAVE EVER SEEN!! XD
I feel like this episode has a really nice balance of dark elements, wholesome elements, and censorship for a family show. We see how brutal Crosshair is, and how the squad mercilessly kills innocent lives, but we don't see the more gruesome deaths happening on-screen. Then, that's contrasted with Omega slowly becoming more a part of the Bad Batch, and the team slowly including her more.
11:45 Think you meant "finally using red blaster bolts for the *GOOD* guys"
THE SAMUEL KIM MUSIC INTRO LET'S GOOOOO
I think Wrecker stayed behind on purpose so that he could surprise Omega. He was made to feel bad about the fact that Omega didn't even have a place to sleep. I think he is that subtle and a lot more sensitive than people see.
I think it's awesome that you guys used Samuel Kim's version of The Bad Batch trailer music!!!!! KUDOS to you!
I think the project war mantle being called out indicated that project mark omega, mentioned alongside stardust, etc in rogue one, could be related to Omega
