- The third episode of ‘The Mike Macdonald Show’ with #Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald comes after the Seattle Seahawks defeat the #MiamiDolphins in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL Season, making Macdonald's Seahawks only one of two NFC teams to remain undefeated in the young NFL season.
Coach Macdonald joins hosts Brock Huard and Mike Salk (Brock & Salk - Weekdays 6-10am) to break down the victory, take ownership for mistakes, point out areas where improvement is needed and deliver credit where credit is due.
The Mike Macdonald Show is presented by Emerald Queen Casino.

To me there were moments that the Dolphins players and coaches looked like they didn't want to be there GO HAWKS!!!

You can tell Mike Mack is real and has high standards. He's recognizing the good things out of yesterday's game but downplays it as well. Im excited to see how the Hawks do against the Lions.

Love Coach MacDonald and thrilled with the direction our team is headed! Brock, Salk, love you guys and have been listening to you interview coaches and players for years now. Ease up on the goofball stuff please. You’re more effective when the questions and interviews feel like they carry weight, as opposed to doing impressions of the NFL on Fox panel.
His personality is coming out!
Man, watching these three guys chop it up is such a treat! They really bounce off each other and you can see Mike is slowly starting to open up. Go hawks!

Great to see DK catch the ball with his hands and high point it. Still hope he keeps working on catching the ball out in front of him with his hands on crossing routes. What an amazing athlete.
So good to get to know Coach MacDonald through these interviews. Love his sense of humor.
That crowd was feral yesterday I could tell through the TV it was like the were doing the broadcast on a jet wing.
I love Coach in a relaxed environment and answering on his own accord.
He knows how to use players
The Seahawks play relatively well other than Anthony Bradford stalling us on offense we would have had more points and being able to keep drives alive but our drives kept getting stalled out by holding penalties by the off. If we can clean those up we should be good. Defense looks like it's going to hold a fort regardless of who it goes up against
I'm really starting to dislike Bradford. That dude is holding us back
So is Tomlinson
Bradford was atrocious. Considering Forsythe is the 3rd string RT he actually held his own fairly well. Tomlinson was better than week 1 but that near safety turned pick was definitely his fault

Somebody tell Brock to settle down. It’s clear he thinks that Mike is some sort of tortured genius. But the constant “insider laughter” would be really hard for anyone to fathom. He deserves respect! Mike that is. In this instance.

Trust. That seems to be what was missing last year under Pete on defense. They didn’t have the physicality because the team couldn’t trust each other to be there, nor could they trust the coaches to make the right call
Mike should have any players who get pre-snap penalties on offense, or defensive penalties on 3rd down that give the opponents a fresh set of downs, all collectively buy the team dinner the following week

So excited for this year and picked up some great coaches you can just see the difference in mentality was time for Pete to go and couldn't have got better coaches!!
