I thought it had what an xtorq has. It cut but an OE 372 would feel more like what you wanted. Nice supporting cast!

@M2theBchainsaws Hello Mike, after looking back at things, I think this saw does not like the low raker setting like my other saws do. Originally, this saw seemed to do pretty well with the 32" bar and new EXL chain. This build is different, being my first 372 and a strato saw. The cylinder is in tough shape, but I have given it some intake timing and raised the uppers, but no cuts yet. I will see if I have another chain with a more appropriate raker height and give it a try. I'm back to work tomorrow 😞. Thank you.

This is a good one to practice on. I'll convert if it gets to messed up. Thank you.

Hello, Im sure it's the work I did on the cylinder that I'm not impressed with, but it's all for fun. The saw has a Hyway popup, .009 base gasket, 1" pipe muffler mod, and I opened up the lower transfers. The cylinder was repaired, but I don't know how long it will last. I'm just playing around with this one and plan to do more to it. Hopefully, I can improve on it. Thank you

My 372 x-torque boged down in stock trimm, if I dogged it in. I ported, mufflermodded and deleted the strato ports. Now it runs way better. It doesn't like deep raker gauge.

Hello, I am definitely guilty and a fan of lower rakers, depending on what I'm cutting. This is my first 372 that was blown up, and I did my best to save the cylinder. At this point, I've cut some of the skirt, opened the lowers, thin base gasket, Hyway pop-up, and a muffler mod. I will start changing the intake and upper timing and hopefully improve a little. This was my first strato and a good one to play with. If it doesn't work out, it's no great loss. What did you mean by deleted the strato ports?I appreciate your comment. Thank you

    Why aren’t you impressed?
By nice to have more bar on there. What is your raker depth?

Hello, I bought this saw blow up with a lot of aluminum transfer. I used a pop-up , .009 base gasket, 1" pipe muffler mod, and opened up the lower transfers. I'm not sure how long the cylinder will last, so this was a good one play with. I expected it to hold a little more rpm, but I am going to do more and hopefully improve on it. The rakers are around .036 and usually works fine with my other saws cutting logs off the pile. Thank you

Ide go to .030 on rakers

@tuckerburk8499 Hello tuckerburk8499, I agree that would be a better setting for this one. I just took it apart again for some intake and upper transfer work. This clyinder was repaired, and the piston is again getting snug just above the exhaust port. I will keep playing with it until the cylinder is no longer usable and convert it. I don't want to ruin the bottom end. All fun and nothing to lose. Thanks for the comment. 👍

Yeah I like the OE 372 better but I've only fooled with one 372 xtorq thus far...

It's still fun playing with it, and there's no great loss if it doesn't work out. Thank you

Hello, yes, I agree. This saw was not too impressive , and the first strato saw I've ever messed with. I got this saw blown up off Ebay. I was going to convert it, and probably still will. I cleaned the alum transfer off, but the cylinders in rough shape. I opened up the lowers and used a pop-up with a thin base gasket and 1" pipe muffler mod. I did more work on it today and will see how it goes. Either way, it's no great loss. Thank you for your comment.

Well I’ve use Husqvarna’s for the past 18yrs and never had any issues. After watching you Cut, I can Honestly say with 100% Confidence it’s the Operators Fault. Sorry but not Sorry you have NO clue how to use a Chainsaw. My Suggestion would be too Learn how to Operate a Chainsaw before making and Posting Reviews

Sounds like the carb needs to be adjusted. Doesn’t sound like it’s getting up in RPMs at all lol

Hello Evan, I agree with you. A friend of mine at a Husqvarna dealer thought it was quite rich and could be leaned out more also. This is the first X-torq I've played with, and the cylinders kinda messed up anyway, so I have nothing to lose. I'll play with the intake and transfer timing a little and see how that goes. In the end, I'll convert it. I appreciate the comment, and thanks for watching.
