I got my 590 and 591 back 2017/2021 they were still $375, and I like them&they will run so good with gutted can W 3/4 ID outlet pipe&rejetted 620 carb. I'm sure they are as fast as the 620. Bone stock, no porting whatsoever, stock coil too.

Sounds like you have a couple of good runners!

I love old echo saws I've got a 750EVL and my dad has a John Deere 80V (same saw just yellow)

Did you cut with them much or just collector pieces?

I cut with them pretty regularly.

Friend, get rid of the tru fuel and mix your own, I can guarantee the saws will run faster and improve your cut times, all of those saws should have cut alot better. Once you change fuels put in new spark plugs and tune the saws, I can guarantee your cut times will be half of what you have now.

Unfortunately, I don’t have ethanol free nearby, so I’m at the mercy of the canned stuff. I don’t burn enough to make it too costly, but I’d prefer to mix my own.

Same in Alaska. No ethanol free available.

Very few know how to properly sharpen chains as well.
No accusations here, but I demand sharp edges on all my tools,
starting with turning tools for the wood lathe. The rest are easy street.

+1 I've had issues with Trufuel, get the Echo canned fuel or the VP Racing. Nice saws!

Echo is amazing. The absolute reliability. Almost all my equipment is from Echo now

Echo, husqvarna, stihl are the top of the hill. Many years ago, homelite made add a good saw too. I’m a stihl myself. I’ve had 025,035,211c, and now I have a 390 and a 250. The 390 is almost too heavy for my senior arms to handle now.

That’s quite the collection! About the time my muscles get used to handling the saw, I put it away for 6 months and have to start over. I regret getting rid of my MS260. It was a lot of saw packed into a small package. I’ve only run a few Huskies, but I liked how they cut in the high RPM range.

Stihl for me. 30 year old 021 for fun, 18 year old 361, and 10 year old 461. The replacement for the 361, (ms 362) up here is $1,000. Crazy prices for pro saws now.
