I'm defending The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen because it was done very well, in my opinion. The story connected, the scene transitions are near flawless, the script is serious with a bit of drama, the costumes are done well and (for the time) the CGI is great.

I was so hyped for this pilot movie that not only did I record back home but I commandeered my grandmother’s VCR just in case. I was so amped up for this movie. rencrow Technically correct, it is based on the game, but there was also a comic based on the game before the movie even came out. I shoulda said Postal, but I figured even fewer people had seen that or read the comic. (Incidentally, Postal is a terrific comic but a crappy movie. Bloodrayne was a crappy comic and a crappy movie, although the video game was halfway decent)

    • @bobbyterrell1

I have SHEILD with Havid Dasselhoff, it is funny. But nothing about the original Fantastic 4 video...??? Maybe you need to do a part 2 of this video. Thank you!

You missed the biggest movie of them all!!! Roger Corman’s Fantastic 4! While it has never officially been released (it was never intended to be for reasons explored in the documentary Doomed), it is easy enough to find. It is pretty entertaining and very Burtonesque in style. I highly recommend people check it out for laughs and for the comic book geekery of it all.

I actually liked the spirit movie from the 2000s, sure it was dumb but my friends and i had a blast watching it and drinking.

They made a lot of these low budget films/tv shows not to make money, but to hold onto their licensing rights. Many of these properties had/have clauses in their contracts that requires them to use them within a certain time frame. If they don't, they then lose the rights to the IP.

as a kid I loved Incredible hulk (return and trial). the latter gave me a new favorite hero, DD.
definitely going to check out: Ninjack, Manthing, and Spirit (Frank Miller). it's Miller art.

All Superheroes Must Die deserved to be on this list more than most. Sure, it only had a budget of 20,000 Dollars, but it was well written and fun, which is more than I can say about 95 percent of this list.

I'm surprised there was no mention of the unreleased Fantastic Four movie, Faust, Tank Girl, The Captain America TV movies, or the Doctor Strange TV movie. Oh wait, this is from Looper, never mind.

Did you leave out Doctor Strange and Captain America which were pilot episodes that never became series, but Cap had an awesome motorcycle. And how can anyone forget Nicholas Hammond and his baby blue eyes as Spiderman from the 1970s who climbed walls without touching them and where NYC often looked more like Los Angeles...only 13 episodes but he did his own stunts, no CGI, just a strong man with a cable above the camera's sight line.🔥💖🎶🙏😻

It is one of the most underrated story ever.

Just for clarity ...the Justice League of America didn't have Batman Superman or Wonder Women because the producers couldn't get the rights to them not because they didn't want them in the film...
