As a dog lover, I noticed that jacky shroff in the movie rescues a street dog and he grows up a Labrador in teri meherbaniya.
Teri Meherbaniyan - I remember watching on Chitrahaar one song from the movie that they played often. 'Title song'. It showed the dog holding the ritual fire in it's mouth and apparently it lit the pyre for the last rites!! I'm glad I haven't watched the movie; but now, in your description, it mentions that Amrish Puri was killed at the headstone of the dog's owner. But if a pyre was lit, why a grave?!?
