@Dhwani Gola First of all rahul never in the movie said that anjali was not beautiful. And Rahul loved anjali he just didn't realised it earlier. Even Tina said that herself. And their relationship was not toxic. They both loved each other. And you said it yourself IF she loved him back, so I think their relationship would be toxic if anjali would have married aman because she never loved him ,she was only marrying him because of her mother and from the starting to end she ONLY loved RAHUL.

In tv serials if a girl wears Indian outfit she is innocent, If a girl wears western outfit she is bigdi hui aulad 😂😂 Wtf logic, you can't describe a girl on the basis of clothes, instead you have no right to judge any girl

In some films, they even have the audacity to mark a girl’s character to be wrong if she wears western clothes such as shirts. I have seen movies where the hero criticizes the girl and gives her very degrading titles just because she wears short clothes. They even said they are ‘uncultured women’ who wear such clothes to ‘show off their body’ and to ‘grab attention from men’...smh

I don’t know u think it’s a pretty great movie but maybe that’s because I’m not Indian in anyway shape or form. When I watch the movie I don’t see it the way other people are seeing it. I think it shows that while we are young we don’t see real love rather we see lust. And we tend to chase the lush rather than love. In kkhh they were in college he loved angali but probably didn’t know it was love at that time, look at the train scene with all three of them, even though he loved rani’s character he was still trying to convince Anagali to stay? 😂 idk I still love that movie

The issue with David Dhawan is that he’s trying to recreate the success that he had in the 90’s without realizing that this generation have been exposed to better comedies that make you reflect more on society (Rajkumar Hirani & Priyadarshan to name a few). Don’t get me wrong his films are still fun to watch (especially if you don’t want to think) but he needs to come up with better script ideas

    Thumbnail: "Ugly" friend?
Not that I want to criticize anything but
People should really stop using this word. No one's ugly, its just how you see them. Every person is beautiful in their own way.

    • @Priya3
      @Priya3 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

By this logic I can say that everyone is ugly, it's just the way people see each other that makes them beautiful. I don't understand why people have a problem with using ugly or fat. Why can't we tell people to accept it despite everything. If someone calls you ugly (based on physical features) then why not just accept it and move on. Being ugly is not the biggest problem in the world in terms of finding a partner. Remember, even the most " beautiful" and "attractive" people get cheated on. The same is true for being fat.

@@unknownunknown-rt9ln Interesting that you have my whole life figured out by just going through one comment on the internet. I am 5'0 and weighed around 70 kg when I was in 8th class. Throughout my school life I have been called "hippo", "moti bhains" and "moti gaindi" a number of times. Was I fat? Definitely. Did I like being called fat? It shouldn't matter what people call you to insult you. I was more than just a fat girl. I liked singing at school. So the people who loved me remembered me for that. When you are fat, accept that you are fat but also know that you are more than just fat. When you are ugly, then accept that you are ugly but you are so much more than just an ugly person. Why be so insecure about something you don't have? Why not focus on the things that define you?

    • @unknownunknown-rt9ln

@@Priya3 At first I'm sorry if anything I said might have hurt you in any way, that wasn't my intention. I just "assumed" you were never called by any of such names. But I just did what you did. How can you "assume" that its okay to hear people calling you by all those names? How can you "assume" that its okay to just ignore such people and move on? Its not. Maybe to you it is but its not to me, to to some people.
I was 90 kg myself (I gained weight due to the side effect of the medication I was on) and I was kinda okay with it cos I'm 5'9 and I knew once this medication will be over, I'll try losing some weight but people around me without knowing the whole thing used to taunt me each day, saying what not, calling me what not. In the beginning I didn't mind them but when they didn't stop and it became an everyday thing, trust me you can't just "move on" from that. They wouldn't let a single day pass without making me end up hating myself.
Now I've lost some weight (not because they constantly reminded me of how "fat" I was but because I'm not on that medication anymore) but I'm not the same person as I used to be and thanks to those people calling me "fat", etc. I don't eat the same, I don't sleep the same, I don't go out as much as I used to, I stopped talking to people (because I still believe they'll have something to taunt me with). I don't know about you but this is what they did to me. Yes I blame them and I'll always do. Maybe someday I'll move past this but i can never forget it.
Just like calling someone on the basis of their race or caste is wrong, similarly calling some "fat", "ugly" or anything based on their physical appearance is wrong. Just because we don't have any law against it doesn't make it alright to call people anything based on their physical appearance.
Calling anything to the other person which the he/she isn't fine with is wrong. Period.

@@unknownunknown-rt9ln I am sorry you had to go through all that and I know it doesn't feel nice but just think about it, the people who love you will never hurt your feelings by calling you names. Don't ever spend 1 minute with a person who hurts you, they are insecure about themselves so they try to bring you down. Rise above them and show them that they don't matter to you. In the next 5 years you are gonna regret not enjoying your life just because some losers called you fat. Enjoy yourself, go out and make some good friends. You can't change those people. They will always call you fat. If not you, there will be some other person. But you know you are more than just fat. So try to embrace it. So what if we are fat? Those who matter don't care at all. I hope you enjoy yourself and stop listening to others. Just listen to yourself otherwise the world will eat you fron inside. I am not assuming you are okay with it, i am saying just try not to take fat as an insult even when others use it to insult you. If you don't get offended by their insult , they will stop insulting you. If you ask them not to insult you, they definitely will. The world is cruel, so chose the very best company . That is all

But when I got into a relationship my BF was like don't do such things. Don't keep your hair short. You look and act like a guy sometimes which doesn't make me feel like I am with my gf. Dress nicer and grow your hair. Eventually, I tried all that stuff but I couldn't change what was within me and at the end GOT DUMPED by him where I felt like an IDIOT who did those things. Had no real issue with Humraaz, there some places I know where bride and groom aren't even allowed to interact for 1 to 2 weeks after marriage so the celibacy thing is not that difficult to digest, especially in India.
Biwi No. 1 is a cheap remake of Hollywood romantic comedy 'A Touch of Class' which came more than 25 years before it. In that movie it's the couple committing infidelity who are the leads rather than the wife of the husband. It's mostly light-hearted and shows the leads as lovable but fallible at the same time. Highly recommend that movie for Glenda Jackson's Oscar winning performance.

Man, you have peeled the layers of ineptitude beautifully. Though there are much more obvious movies to criticize I really admire that you have chosen 5 successful movies. Many people may troll on this but I salute you. Of the 5 movies that you have chosen, only Humraz was the movie I liked. Did you know the base plot of Humraz was copied from The Master's movie Dial M for Murder.

@V B Somehow the Indian Audience made that shit the Highest Grossing Movie of the Year and Filmfare awarded that movie in every category. It was shameful people make shit like KKHH as the Highest Grossing Movie the Year and then say that why Bollywood always make love stories. Filmfare also did a shameful thing as giving it the best film award over Zakhm.Once I made a video on Filmfare but called KKHH as a fine entertaining movie (Majboori Main otherwise I would have been abused by the viewers on TH-cam) now I have realized ki mujhe himmat dikhakar KKHH ko shit bol dena chahiye tha.

Bollywood is straight up problematic when I watch movies I used to love, it's very demeaning to women, all my. Life I have wanted to become the GOOD GIRL and WIFE MATERIAL but now I realize that their is so much more than being a good Wife and also this thinking is wrong ki men can cheat but aaega tum hare pass hi
Relationship is equal partnership not just sacrifice

Actually when I saw kuch kuch hota hai for the first time I really didn't understand why Anjali left Aman for Rahul. And I always cringed at the fact that if Tina knew right from the beginning that Rahul and Anjali loved each other then why marry him, have a child with him and then tell the child instead of asking Rahul to follow Anjali that very moment.

Judaai is actually the remake of a Telugu movie Subhalagnam starring Jagapati babu and Aamani.
Apparently this is a film which tells us not to be too jealous or greedy and be happy in what you have, but the storyline is still horrifying.

I don't think movie wants to imply that if a girl is Tombish, she is merely for friendship and if she wears saree/girly dresses she is wifey material. Kajol in the movie has been shown as tombish. The idea was quite progressive for girls if we look the movie in context of the time. She and shahrukh remain friends for such a long time and that's the reason, he couldn't look beyond that. He could not look at her as his wife. It was 'friendship'. Not her tombishness. He makes it clear in the movie too. There are dialogues guys that makes this explicit.
