The only thing that holds me back in getting the 15plus is the 60hz which is absurd for a $899 phone even a mid price android phone has 120hz nowadays.

I really wanted the camera upgrade from the 15pro max but im so glad I got the 15plus in pink. I had a 12 pro max And the 15plus camera’s amazing. The blacks are blacking 🤣 I’ve had the phone for 3 days and I’ve charged it twice. Battery’s currently at 57%
The 15 looks better for pictures in my opinion. It is insane to see that the 15 pro max did not out shine the 15 or 15 pro in these pictures. I might just get the 14 pro max.

I changed my 14 pro max to black 15 plus. So happy to do it, it's much lighter and 2x lossless zoom and 24 million pixels is just enough for me. The only regret is that there is no 120hz screen refresh rate.
The 15 and 15 plus do have the 60hz refresh rate tho? The pro & pro max has 120hz refresh rate if that’s what you meant

@@chizcapuyan2912 It's prefect for me, 60hz is fine for me. Especially the it's much lighter and this black color is so special. I think its black is much pro than iphone 15 pro.

I was expecting a comparison of three photos: 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max. The 15 Pro is the best for me because most of my photos are up to 3x, the size is just right, and the durability issues of the Pro Max.
At 2:28 you incorrectly state that 15 has "more depth of field". It is very apparent that the image on the right from the 15 has LESS depth of field (meaning that the depth of field is shallower resulting in the background having slight defocus). More depth of field means deeper depth of field, meaning focus covers greater distance range.
Thanks for the detailed comparision between base model and pro model. No one compared heif max and raw photos till now. You are the first one to do this. Appreciate your work

I think because the iPhone 15 camera sensor is new tech from Sony that uses different filter that makes the photos better even though the sensor size is smaller than the 15 Pro.
I'm getting the iPhone 15 Plus because of the advantageous battery.
I can't help but wonder if the photo-processing software for the Pro models doesn't need a critical update. There is no technical reason for the superior camera hardware to capture inferior images.

it all depends on Software and ISP , even though ISP in 15pm is better than that of 15 but mind you A16 is last year’s chipset , Apple had one entire year to optimize it, that’s why probably iPhone 15 has better battery life when compared to iPhone 15 pro , even if A17p uses 3nm process which in theory should be more efficient.
Even tho the main sensor in the 15 is smaller, it's of a new sony design that splits the individual pixels so they can capture more light for their size, so it's possible that's what's making the difference, the 16 pro will probably be getting that tech but in a bigger sensor format, pretty cool stuff

I can’t believe I’ve had my phone 2 months already, Yes I’m enjoying it and don’t really feel like I’m missing out on much, the quality is great and all my hiking pictures and videos look amazing on it so I don’t see the need for the 15 pro unless you really want the faster refresh rate.
maybe that the clearer photos of the 15 are caused by a newer gen sensor even tho it's slightly smaller
The 15s did great vs the Pros. Seems like they only failed in macro & zoom modes
Slight correction: an f/2.4 aperture is actually smaller than f/2.2, not larger. When it comes to aperture on the ultra wide lens, the standard 15 has a better spec than the 15 Pro.

8:30 You can shoot ProRes at 4K60 on a 128GB Pro model only if you connect an external drive via the USB C port.
Also, the cable needs to support USB3 with 10Gbps and the storage device needs write speed of at least 220MB per second.

The 15/15 Plus can do 5GBit/s, you just need a USB-C 3.0 cable at least. Apple delivers the iPhones with a USB 2.0 cable, also the pro models!
You need to do a better job of comparing the 15 pro vs 15 pro max. They have different camera set ups.

we want to know if it's worst to take a photo a x3 with the pro max or x5 with the pro.
we want to know what happens at x4 on the pro and the pro max, what about x4.5.. this is a fair comparison to make sure we take the camera that we can play the most with.

x3-4.9x will be worse on the pro max since the telephoto lense on the pro max starts at 5x while on the regular pro it starts at 3x

Who finds the zoom a little less important and wants a decent and large smartphone, preferably an iPhone with a good battery life? It is best to buy the iPhone 15 plus. There aren't such huge differences, are there? The biggest difference is in the zoom and at night the photos are slightly better, but let's be honest; most people don't zoom in all the time, or am I wrong? A little bit of zoom, certainly, but a lot of zoom? Maybe at the football game or at a concert? But in normal everyday life, a little zoom here. That far zoom is often for show.
The iPhone 15 plus seems to me to be the ideal device for whom the zoom is less important.
im with you. biggest drawbacks are no 120hz/action button/1tb/high performance especially for the console gaming. the 15 pro max back glass is extremely fragile. you could honestly argue the battery is only better because it is limited to 60hz because its a 30 minute difference. if the back glass was not fragile it would be a no brainer. at least the 15+ is 500$ cheaper!

It doesn’t necessarily.
Pros will use RAW, so it’s better to have underexposed picture. Sharpness on the pictures might be computational, as it is almost random.
The big difference is the zoom. For all that other things? It is close.
If you care less about zoom, it is best to buy the iPhone 15 plus. Large screen, good photos, great video camera and the best battery life, better than all other iPhone 15 models.

@@Jinsei01 I opted for plus for bigger size and battery. Switching from android with 6.1in screen size and in store I found 15 plus to be better
@@Jinsei01 the tradebacks is probably like $50 restocking fee lol. Only you can decide if you want to hold a bigger phone. I was sit on the 15 Pro, but today I went into the verizon store and held the 15 Pro Max and was immediately shocked at how good it felt. It felt better than my pixel 6 pro and it's large. I think more people regret getting the small iphone more so than the people that regret getting the larger versions.
