Hi, have one question. Recently bought such pedal for my wife, she owns Roland fp30x keyboard, pedal works well in continuous set, but not for all tones, for example it works for concert piano as continuous, but not for church organ or pipe organ, for them it works like switch. Is that expected behavior?

Would you please tell me does the half-pedaling function means it can send any numbers from cc 0-127？ I am not sure if the “half-pedaling” means it is divided into two parts, 0 instantly to 64 and 65 to 127. I want a continuous pedal that can send cc from 0 throughout 127. For example, I would get any cc number depending on the pressure I apply (0-127). Would appreciate it so much as I can't find any answer on google. Already subscribed!

Thanks for subscribing! so apparently, it is a continous pedal. I will upload the video proof. I tested it and it records midi signals 0-127.

@@japzproductions thank you so much for your reply! I also have another two pedals in my mind which are korg ds1h and Yamaha FC3A also with half-pedalling. By any chance do you know if it does the same as Roland DP-10 in terms of continuous function? Not sure which one is better

@@tomartin2680 I don't have those two but I would recommend to get the same brand of pedal with your keyboard as much as possible to save you the hassle of syncing devices. honestly all they're all the same, not one is better than the other. DP-10 has the tongue and I love that feature that's why I chose it.

Is this a continuous pedal? Sending 0 through 127 midi signal? Or simple on/off pedal??

has a half damper so probably continous

@@japzproductions Run pianoteq...watch midi events....see if it goes smoothly from 0 to 127.....half dampers go...0 to 64 to 127. Once you use continuous sustain you can't go back to anything else. What controller are you using? I have a kawai vpc1...the sustain pedal is really cheap and doesn't last long before you end up taking it apart and recalibrating it.

@@japzproductions Ok...waiting...the function of the sustain is controlled a lot by the controller used...so even if it might be used as a continuous sustain....your controller might only look for 0...64...and 127
