I started investing in Merino Wool clothes and you don't have to worry about being smelly and can be worn many times without washing. I invested in a capsule wardrobe. In that wardrobe was 1 long dress, 1 tank top, 1 pair of black leggings, 1 long sleeve tee shirt and 2 short sleeve tee shirts. Along with all of your tips and videos I am definitely do the capsule wardrobe. You are the one that got me started on the capsule wardrobe and I am grateful to you for that. I always enjoy watching your videos as I learn something new every time I watch you.
This video was very helpful. I was inspired on how important you stress the joy each article of clothing should have when you put it on. I keep going through my wardrobe so that I can retire some pieces that just don't do it for me any longer. I let go of a few pieces just yesterday. I feel that when I pick my outfit for the next day a night before (or 7 outfits for coming week , if I have the time), I am a lot less stressed. They have to be tested out first, because if, at the last minute, you find out something doesn't work, it delays you.

I am all into wearing clothes more than once. Not always in the same week though. Also, if I like something, I will get 2 of the exact same thing and or different colours if it's a basic. Except for leggings. I have at least 6 pairs of black leggings and black socks. Both are super useful. I wear these almost everyday under my main outfit or as the outfit.

Great tips.. I used to put my clothes in the laundry after one wear. Things like sweatshirts, pants , jeans etc are fine not being washed too death....so my fav tip. I did get a thrifted cream half zip yesterday because of you ( one of your videos where you said you thought it elevated a more plain look ) and think it is going to be something I reach for all the time. Do you just prefer not to wear earrings, because it would take away from your gorgeous hair ? Thanks Emily...as you can tell I am catching up on all of your older videos. ❤❤❤❤
Usually, people give the same basic advice but I got new useful tips from this. The rule of three...I love it! 3 of each seems like an easy way to slim down your wardrobe and pick only pieces you really love. Also, invest in shoes I absolutely agree, I always look at people's shoes. Love your style, very similar to mine.

LOOVVVE the repeat outfit and the sandwich :) ! It might sound strange, but I dyed my (short) hair blond about a month ago and, suddenly the 'sandwich' has become a lot easier to achieve🙃!

Love the tip to invest in great shoes. I made a pact with myself this fall that my next pair was going to be European. I decided on some brown suede square toe boots by Vagabond. They're AWESOME! They totally elevate my sweater and jeans uniform in winter.
My favorite tip was choosing your favorite garments and putting them in 3s. Wait, did I get that right or am I mixing tips. Heck, they were all good tips.
I base my whole wardrobe on what shoes I can wear. I fear blisters and sore feet. Have a pair of Frye boots in black (and others) that I have worn to the theater, the flea market, parties and funerals. Shoes have always been deal breakers.

shoes/belt/bag can inject style into any simple top & bottom.
