  • Let's crochet an axolotl together! This little guy is my favorite sea creature yet (but the sea turtle is a close second)! He works up in about an hour and, the best part, he's no-sew! The only thing you have to do is tuck in some ends and that's it!
    I have successfully crocheted this pattern with Chenille Home Slim/Sweet Snuggles Lite, Skinny Chenille, and Bernat Baby Velvet. All of which turned out super cute! Any yarn type should work for this pattern, just be sure to use the correct hook for your yarn size.

    I love this! My axolotl looks great despite my confusion on the gills. I eventually got it. And a tip for anyone reading this is when you have to go through the post of the single crochet in the gills mark it with a stitch marker so you don’t lose it! It really helped me.

    honestly the best crochet channel i've seen! i already made the dalliha the dragon pattern in a sagey green with fluffy white accents, and i plan on making the sharks for markets! very useful as someone trying to get a etsy shop up and running. love the patterns as well as the editing of the videos :]

    How many times did you single crochet into the post of the other single crochet for the gills?
    [Does this question even make sense? 💀]
    I just need a reference point because my yarn is just a little bigger than yours, and I don't know if I need to tweak it a little bit.

    I want to double the size of the axolotl but can't get yarn large enough, would I be able to 2x the amount of stitches and 2x the amount of rows or would that mess up the pattern do you think?

    • @loopsandknotscrochet
      @loopsandknotscrochet  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The easiest way would be to double or triple-strand your yarn. But you could try doubling the st count! You'll have to tweak the pattern as you go to make sure everything sits right. Let me know if you need any more help! 🥰

    • @loopsandknotscrochet
      @loopsandknotscrochet  15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The safest thing to do is pull the second one out and embroider the eyes instead. I have a tutorial linked in the description for that.
      You can also glue them in place, but if it's something that will be played with/touched, embroidering would be safer!
      I hope you finish in time! 🥰🤗
