Hi Simon, want to extend my profound thanks in getting Hornby TT120 off the ground. This is the perfect scale for my room size and my eyes. I do want to raise with you that the exclusive rights deal done with SMS here in Australia has not served me well. Every loco / rolling stock, track etc and every part I have bought for TT120 so far, I have done so via retailers in the UK, who had stock when I wanted and had it delivered to me promptly and at a cost that retailers could have not offered even if they had the stock. This is not the first time hobby stores in Australia have not had Hornby / Airfix products due to SMS supply issues. Do you think that the rights deal Hornby did for TT120 in Australia was a mistake? I have had NZ friends (further away) have better early access to TT120 from Hornby direct. If it wasn't for UK retailers finally being able to stock and sell TT120, I would still have nothing. Kind regards John
Thanks for answering the question Simon . Hadn’t thought of the HM 6000 to 7000 route . Will look into that . I was thinking more of just turning your analogue controller to full . I’m only interested in running the occasional sound loco to be honest - already have over 100 analogue ones , so that’s why not going full DCC
Nice Q&A vlog Simon, thanks.
