Green Arrow poses literally no threat to him because he's a normal human that Batman could just beat up easily in fight. A Long Halloween (if done better than Hush, though I still liked Hush it did ruin the comic storyline), Kingdom Come, Identity Crisis maybe? (Most people hated that story but I liked it), Red Son if they want to do other awesome Elseworlds stories like how they did Gotham By Gaslight, pretty much just adapt all the best storylines.

You have to remember that whether or not Darkseid survives is irrelevant. It doesn't even register on the grand scale of things. Darkseid has hundreds of thousands of enemies in the universe, enemies that wouldn't dare attack him because of his military might......military might that exists on Apokalypse. Say Darkseid Boomtubes away last second or something- it doesn't matter. He'll just be hunted down and killed anyway, so it ultimately makes the whole situation a lot more difficult for Darkseid. Now, Darkseid wouldn't survive an explosion like that. Not even supes could. But even if he escaped somehow he would die, and Darkseid knows that. So did he spare Batman? Yeah, sure. I think even Big Evil Darkseid has the slightest of soft spots for Batman. He could show up in the Batcave anytime and just roast Bruce, but Darkseid, being Darkseid, figures Batman could never actually kill him, and so he enjoys and even respects the Dark Knight's efforts to hand a vastly superior foe a loss whenever they meet in battle.

It wasn’t until Superman, two Flashes, and I believe Wonder Woman showed up in order to actually take Darkseid down for good. Sure that bullet Batman fired contributed to his loss, but without help, Darkseid would’ve survived.

It’s all meant to be about Batman, and what else would the show be if they didn’t give Batman the spotlight and make him the star of the show in the fight against Darkseid? Bottom line, Darkseid was originally intended to be a Superman villain for a very good reason. He was written to even be superior to Superman’s abilities in many ways, and depending on the story, he doesn’t have any blatant weaknesses like Superman’s kryptonite. For anyone that’s familiar with the Darkseid fights with Superman where he’s tanking full powered punches and lasers from Superman, there’s no way in hell that Batman would even be able to make him flinch with punches. What we saw wasn’t the “Darkseid” that comes from the comics. He’s been drastically reduced in prowess so that Batman could contend with him, to the point where it makes people consider whether it’s appropriate to even think this actually “is” Darkseid. If you’re wondering what I mean by that, you should watch some of the older cartoon episodes of Super Friends where Darkseid tries at every turn to make Wonder Woman his wife. It’s so laughably cringy that no one considers this to be an “official” depiction of Darkseid.

But I personally wanted this fight in the video because Batman was using his mind, distracting Darkseid with the boredom of being ultimately unbeatable with the offering of a physical confrontation. This is the real "battle" in my opinion Batman outsmarted Darkseid: a great battle-tactician and strategist, distracted before Question could finish the mission.

I think it'd make for a great story to see a situation where Batman needs to outthink, and out maneuver Darkseid, who is going out of his way to kill Bats. And I really do love the David vs Goliath dynamic between the two. It's way more interesting than Superman vs Darkseid. But I just wish that we could see a story where Batman is on Darkseid's ship or something, and Bats has to sabotage his plans without Darkseid finding him. I think it could play as a cool cat and mouse dynamic, where Batman would have to evade Darkseid and try to throw him off his trail. At the very least, Darkseid could be depicted in his true form without any power reductions or any handicaps in Bats' favor, and Batman can stick to using his brain to outwit Darkseid, as he's better known for that more than anything.

I think even Big Evil Darkseid has the slightest of soft spots for Batman. He could show up in the Batcave anytime and just roast Bruce, but Darkseid, being Darkseid, figures Batman could never actually kill him, and so he enjoys and even respects the Dark Knight's efforts to hand a vastly superior foe a loss whenever they meet in battle.

Tbh Batman didn’t actually kill Darkseid with that gun. He wounded him, but he survived. It wasn’t until Superman, two Flashes, and I believe Wonder Woman showed up in order to actually take Darkseid down for good. Sure that bullet Batman fired contributed to his loss, but without help, Darkseid would’ve survived.

Me after seeing 1:08-1:15: Goddamn Supes! And this was the true blue boy scout who would sooner stab himself with kryptonite than entertain the notion of doing something like commit murder. See, this is why evil versions of Superman are so friggin terrifying. But, seeing as Batman can handle Darkseid, evil Supermen don't really stand much of a chance. I guess part of the reason is because the premise of the show is biased. It’s all meant to be about Batman, and what else would the show be if they didn’t give Batman the spotlight and make him the star of the show in the fight against Darkseid?
Bottom line, Darkseid was originally intended to be a Superman villain for a very good reason. He was written to even be superior to Superman’s abilities in many ways, and depending on the story, he doesn’t have any blatant weaknesses like Superman’s kryptonite. For anyone that’s familiar with the Darkseid fights with Superman where he’s tanking full powered punches and lasers from Superman, there’s no way in hell that Batman would even be able to make him flinch with punches. What we saw wasn’t the “Darkseid” that comes from the comics. He’s been drastically reduced in prowess so that Batman could contend with him, to the point where it makes people consider whether it’s appropriate to even think this actually “is” Darkseid. If you’re wondering what I mean by that, you should watch some of the older cartoon episodes of Super Friends where Darkseid tries at every turn to make Wonder Woman his wife. It’s so laughably cringy that no one considers this to be an “official” depiction of Darkseid.

But I personally wanted this fight in the video because Batman was using his mind, distracting Darkseid with the boredom of being ultimately unbeatable with the offering of a physical confrontation. This is the real "battle" in my opinion Batman outsmarted Darkseid: a great battle-tactician and strategist, distracted before Question could finish the mission.

For sure, that's a great match up going that route. I think it'd make for a great story to see a situation where Batman needs to outthink, and out maneuver Darkseid, who is going out of his way to kill Bats. And I really do love the David vs Goliath dynamic between the two. It's way more interesting than Superman vs Darkseid.
But I just wish that we could see a story where Batman is on Darkseid's ship or something, and Bats has to sabotage his plans without Darkseid finding him. I think it could play as a cool cat and mouse dynamic, where Batman would have to evade Darkseid and try to throw him off his trail. At the very least, Darkseid could be depicted in his true form without any power reductions or any handicaps in Bats' favor, and Batman can stick to using his brain to outwit Darkseid, as he's better known for that more than anything.

The only problem is that Batmans portrayal in the media, especially in kids shows is always that he can do everything and beat everyone (with enough planning), because he is the humanoid embodiment of willpower. So the idea would be awesome, but it would never work nowadays as a comic.
