As an 05 council member, ill tell you. after the second time playing the emoji movie for 106, he began crying and didnt respont to the screams of d class. After 5 minutes of the most painful crying that would put 096 to shame, he dropped through the floor and wasnt seen for 12 hours. Over the course of these 12 hours all media players in the site dissapeared, before he promptly appeared back in his containment cell, and didnt move for around a year. Keeping a terrified gaze throughout the whole time of stasis.

I think that the ethics comittee explicitly forbade that particular method of luring SCP-106 back into containment. And O5 said that the mental healthcare necessary for any personell involved (who would have to sit through that kind of experience as well) would be too expensive. Not sure, I think the amnestics I requested for something else worked a little too well.

What the video conveniently forgets at the end is the excistence of amnestics in the SCP universe.
For the haunting memory of that screaming D-class? The researcher would probably be given some Class A amnestics, since the memory would be recent if the breach just happened. The moment SCP-106 is secure once again: that researcher is probably transported to a semi-safe location to administer those suckers. Also, the description of Class A amnestics in particular says: "While these will be most effective after initial exposure, it is possible to re-open a memory reconsolidation window, allowing for amnestics officers to trigger and then erase specific memories long after their initial formation." So given a skilled enough amnestics officer, the researcher would remember pertinent information about this SCP but they could forget about ever having to sacrifice that D-class.
