"The dishonesty and inconsistency in those kinds of comments is what gets to me. It's absolutely fine to be frustrated about shit taking so long. We hate it too. We all wish things were going faster and smoother and it's understandable that some players just lose hope and go on rants because ultimately this a niche genre that triple A won't touch and we're all orphans in a way. But when you finally release prone after years of people asking for prone and the reaction is "one year for a feature that should be in from the start?" it makes you wanna put on some clown make-up.
The other thing is completely disregarding the scale of production. We have literally one person doing AI but people like to treat BFS as if it were remotely close to even other indie studios, let alone triple A. It's rough, sadface"
Wake me up when they add AI teammates in this game like good ol' Rainbow and Recon. They worked on those, afterall.

Despite the lack of content that does take away from the overall long term playability, the mechanics, audio, animations, and attachments system for this game are really got. You guys have a blank slate for something awesome if development continues with more content.

Third person shooting while aiming still looks sus to me 👀
Glad they’re adding more to the game I hopped on and played around for a bit and noticed every match I played almost half of the ai were all getting stuck in place or stuck on top of each other and just running in place just not really doing anything or noticing me. Wonder what’s up with that. Have you had any issues with that too?
Thats a bug and it's being sorted out in the next patch soon.
Nothing making me want to quit or anything I’m still having a good time with the game. Just little snags but I figured they’re probably going to get it smoothed out before too long
Ragdolls got messed up, why do they start kicking like hey got shot in the neck when its a headshot?
It was a neck shot btw.
@@XOFghosts5685 Its happened to me before with a headshot though, shot an enemy in the head and his ragdoll got messed up
@@Xenoscoutknight you should know that in GB bullets comes out of the barrel,unlike other games where bullet hits exactly where u aim. So in the vid I Aimed on his head to adjust the barrel to his throat and took the shot. Trying shooting next time. Lot of cool animations are there
@@XOFghosts5685 I know that Insurgency Sandstorm also does the same thing, but there was like a bullet hole in his head (shot one time on semi auto) and he was still moving around like t was a neck shot
The nervous system doesn't always shut completely down from a brain injury. Sometimes synapses and nerve endings fire which causes spasmodic movement. Go watch some kills of coyotes on thermal.

Ctrl+up arrow for helmet cam
Ctrl +home/end for 3rd person camera.
Ctrl + delete to get back to first person camera.
In some public servers these camera perspectives might not work

How many more years is this game gonna be in development? Will we see a story campaign in this century or the next?
Story is planned for future updates. They r a small indie dev team with limited budget and time, so you can expect it to take time. We all got so comfortable to AAA studios releasing updates so fast that we expect the same from a small indie team too. You have to have patience. Take GB out of your expectations lists and you won't be disappointed. You can expect one major update atleast every year.
@@XOFghosts5685 Indie dev team that is fine. But look at Tarkov. They are indie devs as well, yes ithey too are taking their time but they are progressing. Look at Battlebit, a small indie team as well and they released. In the grand scheme of things the updates Ground Branch is making are insignificant. People are gonna try two to three rounds maybe and then get bored. And erven then these people that are gonna try would be hardcore mil simulator fans. I bought the game because it shown promise but after all these years I see more than ever it was a mistake.
@@Flankymanga did u just said battlestate game is a indie studio, Lol. They are already a multi million dollar worth AAA studio. They have gained lot of money through pre alpha and beta stage.
They got huge investments too.
Ground Branch is run by few Dev teams that are already busy with their own life schedule. It's not a competition for them, more. like passion. GB doesn't have any cosmetics or in-game currency to earn more money. Ground branch is what you get when group of passionate developers get together to make a game that's true to FPS realism tactical shooter in their best way possible. I have criticised the game before too. But when I came to know the truth, i understood. If u find Ground Branch boring after 2-3 rounds then it's not meant for you. You can try other game instead. You need patience if u want to keep on playing Ground Branch
@@XOFghosts5685 You don;t understand. Tarkov started as a Indie studio as well. And then they grew. Problem with Ground Branch isn't with the game mechanics. It is that the Game Devs promised years back that the game will have story and campaign, with missions. In general when you make such an announcement to the world, you are expected to deliver within 2 years. Not within a decade. They are a small team is not a valid argument anymore. Who is telling them to be small. If size is what matters if you deliver or not. But small teams were able to deliver faster than Ground Branch. The updates they are posting are mostly insignificant. If its their passion its clearly not enough passion there to finish the game within reasonable amount of time as it was promised at the beginning. I lost hope to see full release of the game, but I sure will be happy to be proven wrong.

Your expectations have gone high because of AAA studios releasing updates sooner, you expect the same to happen in GB. GB promised Story and it will happen, they never promised anything to happen within 2 years or never gave any deadlines. You being impatient ain't gonna matter to them. They work on their game as per their plan. All you can do is give good game suggestions and play the game. If you don't wanna, move on to other games

Try changing FOV. My Fov is on 104
The only news I care about and wan't to know about before I ever think buying this game is AI teammates.
AI teammates planned for Next update 1035 and it will happen. For now you can play with your friends in Co-op
Took them almsot 2 years to make this tiny ass update with barely anything in it, now we wait another 2 for the next update 💀🤡
Thats small indie studios for you. They don't have budget or manpower like AAA studios. So they take their time.
How to enable headcam?
In offline/solo, press ESC, click DEBUG, then you can change your camera style (top left)
Go in controls, and in the bottom you have an option to show more controls. The headcam key (that you can change if you want) is here. As well as the keys for other camera modes
(But I think it works only for offline and maybe coop play. Not for PvP)
Simply press Ctrl +up arrow key

they couldve added even a single a new attachment or a hat or something yet instead they decided to add some guns that have literally 0 customisability and some other features that dont really do anything. cant believe we waited a year for this shit
Keep your expectations low and you won't be disappointed.
After a year without updates... This is the next big step? It feels like before, with the ability to go prone. am just disapointed... Deinstalled it. And this time I guess I won't come back to it.

This is what happens when you prioritize weapon customization and cosmetics before having a solid foundation to build on. I can only imagine the amount of tech debt they're in after all these years...

Run it with friends and do pvp scenarios, also mods help add more flavor.
