wish they'd make the animation for mag-check as long as you hold it there like RoN does it. Purely cosmetic but RoN just makes it more satisfying that way. Enjoying this game so far!
I am just starting to get into Ready or Not now that I know about the voice commands feature for your AI buddies. I play solo and using the wheel to command them just wasn't it for me. If I can get the voice thing dialled though it will make it much more fluid. So far I like it quite a bit.
I noticed straight away, I'm getting my arse kicked, they are quick on the draw, and they come looking for you, poke your head above the parapet and you'll stick a chance of losing it... Really enjoying the AI on this now... 😊
I got a pretty good push a couple of times that surprised me for sure. You used to be able to hold a stairwell and stack up half of the AI in one spot. Not any more. Thanks for the view and support!
@@ColapoGaming have noticed on compound they can shoot while crouching behind walls, and they just shoot in to the wall, think the AI needs a bit of a tweak there, but still 100% better 👍
Ya at the end of the video I am pretty sure I got shot through the desk. If it is supposed to work that way and they can now shoot blind through stuff they can penetrate I am not even mad. Good for them. Somehow I don't think that was in the design. @@MrIanspeed
@@ColapoGaming They couldn't actually shoot me through the wall, they were just shooting in to the wall with the top of their showing, you could see the dust coming from the other side of the wall... I think through the table is, dare I say it, fair game, you could do that in real life... 🤔👍
I hope everyone is also keeping in mind that Ground Branch and it's development team, Blackfoot Studios, are much smaller than RoN and Void Interactive's team. The game is also still in it's alpha stage, while RoN has already released it's 1.0 official release version. Not very fair to say "the game should have this and that, like Ready or Not does!" when the game is still being worked on in it's core mechanics. GB has drawn attention to itself due to how immersive it already is in just it's early development stage, but it's also important to note that it should be treated just like any other early-access game, with patience.
Ya that seems like a double edged sword. With the performance issues Gray Zone has on lower end PCs it might exclude a bunch of people from playing it. Let's see how that transition goes for Ready or Not and go from there.
Ai is not good enough compared to Ron but solid improvement over 1033. Since it is still wip I can bear with that. Now that ai uses cover more and sometimes even prone, the game is signigicantly more challenging since before it was just aimbot, now it's less of aimbot but more of a land mine in bushes. Especially in Creek. Overall good step towards the better. I hope the devs can figure it out soon to bring in ai teammates as good as those in the Ron.
I think the AI teammates are a double edged sword. Been playing a lot of Ready or Not lately and last night I couldn't get my team to go up the stairs in Valley of the Dolls to save my life. One thing I noticed in practice mode is they need everything micromanaged and can't go up stairs, but when you die it turns them into super soldiers as you spectate. Overall they are pretty good though. Thanks for stopping by the channel.

It is still (and has been for a while) in early access but it is pretty promising. One of the devs is the same guy that designed alot of the OG Rainbow Six maps and whatnot.
Its not the AIs fault when your the one that is opening wide to cut the pie, your reaction time is slow, the lethal and non lethal assets are not used properly, staying in one place is not a good idea (movement is life). Shoot and move, AI is adapting to your game play. Just keep on practicing and get her done.
The AI he's playing against are on the 1034 Beta Test version, where they aren't very well optimized anyways. Not so much his fault, but thought it was worth mentioning that the AI is still weird to deal with for anyone in the beta test.

Yes. It seems like they either push or they stand their ground. Eventually though it seems like they eventually return to normal patrol patterns. They are a bit more unpredictable now though.
That's not a improvement. You saying one thing, but your gameplay shows us broken AI. AI has gone from “there are problems that need to be fixed” to “ completely braindead.” The developers have been implementing this new AI system for over a year now and have released completely broken bots for community testing that can't shoot at you because they are now blind, always stuck and rush at you in a crowd when you take a shot. What exactly players should test here?! The AI is unplayable and boring in every movement. And there’s a bonus: after so many years, the developers still haven’t fixed the problems with sights for pistols, as we all see in that video, which they know and admitted a long time ago.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion and maybe this isn't the game for you. They did port the AI over to a new engine though in the 1034 update/play test. If you had played any of the game in the new engine previous to this update, I think you would agree it is a pretty solid upgrade and a step in the right direction. My hopes are that the dev team realised the limitations of the previous engine and decided to move in a new direction that had a shorter turn around time for improvements moving forward. They took a break before Christmas and after the new year they came out with a big AI update. There weren't a ton of working days in there to make changes. I like the direction.
Dude, lol. I've played the game for years, well over a thousand hours. They aren't doing shit to the game. The just made the AI more aim botty, which is what all devs seem to be doing lately. 1031 was the last good update to this game. They're, as of late, incredibly lazy, and incredibly incompetent. @Parad0x47 isn't sharing his "opinion", he's stating facts. I once absolutely loved this game, bought it for over a dozen people, streamed the hell out of it....and ever since 1031, they haven't done shit. Probably one of the dumbest comments I've ever read on the entirety of TH-cam....PVP absolutely destroys any and all forms of realism...all tactics go out the window, it literally turns into COD....go play battlefield or something if PVP is that important. GB is SUPPOSED to be based in reality, and essentially a spiritual successor to the old Tom Clancy titles, which for a while, didn't include PVP. PVP takes up way to much focus in gaming today, because people can't handle slowing down, and learning, just want a quick kill in 5 minute games@@ngonzales3781
I personally like the guns and performance.. But the programming for enemies is absolutely bad and unreal, you can tweak it to your preferences but it's still incomplete. It gets boring in about two hours playing solo.
I have never messed with any VR gear besides giving it a whirl at a buddies house. Might have to add some to the kit though. DCS in VR looks pretty legit too. A much larger financial investment for that though.
I want to like the game, but my God the animations look so stiff! Feels like there aren't enough frames in the animation to make it smooth, looks terrible!
You only can do 60 FPS on TH-cam. I get around 140 and it looks much smoother on PC. It is (still...) a work in progress though. It needs more time in the oven. I enjoy it as is but I get that it isn't for everyone in it's current state.
