I think keeping being able to go underwater could actually help a lot in terms of how you can approach a situation or even help you when you're just trying to escape and evade enemies
This looks very promising. I truly want the AI rework. That for me is what holds me back from really enjoying the game to its full potential. Once that's in place.... Legit ill be playing it daily.
@@bercor4948 yea but they didn't have a shit ton animations to go along with it. Gotta take that into account. It's apparently hard to make good AI because no one still has came close to metal gears AI system, the closest would be Ghost recon wildlands, even though theirs was dumb at times to.
I think they should look at the customizability of that game Operator. I know Operator is early build but i still think that if people go the length of putting accurate weapon system designations they could go further and let us customise individual characteristics of the weapons parts. Not just the attachments/accessories
i like ground branch, mainly because of its realistic/snappy weapon handling. however, the game's been in EA since 2018, and they have just managed to get in a prone feature in its early stages. the biggest update ever 5 years in is prone, a female model (no idea why THAT would be a priority in a game about operators), and a really basic cone of vision for AI. the pace of development is extremely slow imo, even more considering that literally none of this is groundbreaking stuff. it's a tactical shooter with a handful of run of the mill small maps w/o vehicles, barebones enemy AI and absent friendly AI, decent customization (at this point an essential/expected feature for tactical/milsim games), and the one thing that sets it above competition; great gunplay. in short: i wouldn't hold my breath.
i'd be glad if at least enemy ai would be developed at one point.. obviously they're working with Kytheria AI, but given Star Citizen was working with them as well and looking at how atrocious the AI is over there, i'm not getting my hopes up tbh.
Personally, I think shooting out lightbulbs are dumb because the incandescent light bulbs use a copper wire and electricity going through it to create light. Shooting the protective layer wouldn't destroy the lighting capability. However, shooting the pole could potentially severe the wirings => lights cut. Being underwater is a crazy good idea but I think you are going in the right direction. I'd love to be able to submerge for whatever my stamina bar is worth in oxygen (full bar = maybe 1 minute) just so that in some maps, I could avoid detection for 10-15 seconds.
I bought this game and played 100s of hrs - but that was years ago.. kinda thinking it's one of those "never will finish or be as good as anticipated" game.. had tons of fun but at one point it was just rinse and repeat..
@@PartyMartyDrums Go play Tarkov. You're going to just keep wanting every game you play to be more like Tarkov until it's Tarkov. If you're looking for a new game to play, maybe play something distinctly not Tarkov.
So I'm no game developer but um why is adding something like a prone stance so difficult for this studio, when almost 2 decade old games have it, I'm just not excited for a standard game mechanic. Ground Branch has alot of ideas that I like and want to see from other tac shooters but it's little things like this that turn me away alot of the time. Not to mention probably some of the most boring AI I've ever seen in a video game......it needs massive improvement, I've seen better AI from RoN modders. This doesn't give me a lot of hope, considering they seem to struggle with a simple prone stance and AI development is VASTLY more complicated and tedious.
Clearly you didn't watch their explanation of the complications. The prone stance itself is not difficult, it's the implementation of realistic physics with it. Also if the AI is "boring" try turning the difficulty up, your "boring" will change to frustration.

"I truly want the AI rework." Agreed - but I want AI teammates, too. SWAT4 had them, RoN has them, even Zero Hour has them. Why not Ground Branch?
@@johnsimion2893cuz they'll be dumb as rocks, wait til the AI rework then it'll be much better
@@ayespenzo358it's not that hard to develop. The ps1 ghost recon game had better ai than this game

If prone stays for water, i need that frogman veil headgear cover.
haha for sure!
Ground Branch adding underwater mechanics before New World.
Im really hoping for more gun models, running the same setups can get pretty boring after a while

Will Ai teammates ever be developed? I want that ghost recon squad control
Yes... but it's a small development team and could take a while.
just few years@@billxciii

I'm waiting for the sdk with full mod support to put a lot of guns, uniforms and helmets 😓
Hell yeah cant wait to see what you make!

nice work guys
I Hope weather dynamic comes to the game in the future !
Same that would be a great feature!
Thx for the heads up on the info. Love the game and excited to see what's still in store for us players and fans of the game.
You're welcome, Thanks for watching
Awesome ! Keep up the good work guys !
Thank you!
i mean re-working the scope alliasing shit they did could be a interesting shit to work on ?
True
Lovely overview as always my friend!
Thanks dude!!
Why would they want to remove the ability to go prone in the game? Isn’t the whole point of the game immersion?
I think they mean just to go prone in the water, Not sure why they would want to remove it@@LordPryde
Its already December 19 where is V1034 10:21
Its coming today just waiting for the announcement
Cant wait for steam workshop
This game would be incredible with a Tarkov style game mode.
No just no leave that to tarkov and upcoming gray zone
@@ayespenzo358 😂 Every game must be Tarkov. Who died and made that boring, tedious game the damn standard for tactical shooters? 🙃
The larger maps that they have remind of Tarkov maps. The PvPvE concept can be really fun.

I honestly would like to see the UE4 VR injector on this one. It would be amazing.

the development of ground branch is shameful, I wish it was developing faster but at this pace theres no hope for it to become something decent
Make your own game then. I’m sure you can do it better.
