Really cool tune. It's like a mix up of so many elements all at once. You've got a deep dark rhythm riff, an incognito bass that take it to a supernatural state, the strings in the background that give it a motion and depth. An outro guitar that is like a venetian guitarist playing for a couple. Tempo changes that turn the song into a story. And to cap it all off, Myles Kennedy and his amazing range and clarity. I consider this to be a modern masterpiece. True music that blends talent, masterful orchestral arrangements, and a stunning sound. Thank you Myles. It's times like these that restore my faith in music. That it isn't all just noise from a pop tart with autotune and a drum machine. This album is definitely going to rock my CD Player and make the time on the road much more enjoyable.
The background "strings" come from a mellotron, a synthesizer invented back in the '60s. Bands like King Crimson, Beatles, Led Zeppelin have been using it. You can hear it clearly in "Space Oddity" as well. It takes some balls to use it in 2018, I find it amazing. :)
3 years on and still think it would make a great bond theme if the London Symphonic Orchestra did the strings to it. The strings needs be more upfront with some brass and you've got an epic James Bond Theme.
Qué paz me transmite este tipo con sus canciones. Esos solos y su voz llegan al alma. Gracias Myles. Sos único

The whole album is the culmination of AB, Slash, Mayfield Four. Myles' magnum opus.
I feel Alter Bridge in this one.
Do you have the demo version of it?
Nope. :(
