The white fruit on the cacao seeds (chocolate) is also good; it's bitter but good. We picked them fresh off of the tree with a machete and cut them open to eat the fruit and then dry the seeds for the chocolate when I lived in southeastern Mexico.
Jackfruit tastes like a cross between a mango and a banana to me, and is delightful fresh or dried. Its giant seeds can be cooked and eaten.I first tried it and dragonfruit when I traveled to Southeast Asia. You will see signs there of a durian with a circle around and a line through it indicating that they are expressly prohibited. because their smell is so disgusting. Have any of you ever baked avocado seeds? The seed contains more nutrition than the green part.
Well if you going to eat it raw, yes it is true that you can only eat it when it is tipe. But you can actualy eat the not ripe jackfruit after you cooked it. Here in Indonesia there is a lot of dish that used the unripe jackfruit Fyi, we also eat it's seed (boiled or fried) 😊
Thank you Dr. Gundry! That was excellent. So helpful and so clear. By the way, in Mexico we say che-ri-moy-a. 😊 Thank you again I’ve been really blessed by your content.
I would love to hear more about your experience with raw veganism and what you recommend for those (esp women over 50) who still follow this lifestyle. thank you!
Wow there are many good for you exotic fruits that are excellent for your body. I'm guessing in moderation and only when in season. Would like to try them and will make a list but if they are too expensive I will do without.
Hello there, thanks for reaching out! Sadly, we have not been exposed to star apples in the United States, but they are another nutritious exotic fruit. If you are referring to alcohol, Dr. Gundry recommends consuming no more than 6oz of champagne or red wine per day. We hope this helps!
@@GundryMDYT Thank you for responding. I love star apples I use to eat a lot of them when I was living in Jamaica. I live in New York Now and can't find them anywhere here. About drinking, sorry I was talking about drinking Cerasee Tea everyday. I don't drink any type of alcohol. Thank for the advice.
Hi Dr Gundry, Can you mention in a video the health pros and cons for surinami cherry, brazilian plum, monstera deliciosa, and a variety of lsu figs tiger, purple, holier, and kadota. Thank you
I can get the frozen pink flesh variety from South East Asian. Often goes half price much better than the local Australian grown fresh white flesh variety. So expensive too
You''re really unfair to durian. Should be S or A. The smell of this fruit is also enjoyable. I really love it. Even if I eat a whole 2kg durian, I still lose weight an load up with great nutrients. It would have better to stick with the benefit/risks analysis instead of considering the slight inconvenience (the smell) which is subjective (Some don't like it, some do like it). Come on Dr Gundry! LOL Anyway, I love your shows. Thank you.

the seeds are bitter cos the plant doesn’t want you to eat them. it’s where the plant toxins are the highest
A list of daily food habits should be made according to the doctor's routine

I grind the avocado seed and use it as a seasoning
Jackfruit can only be taken when it is ripe. It’s very sweet and equivalent to Durian. Should consume only moderately.

Kiwi fruit may be wonderful & I do like them. But I am allergic to them. My mom was allergic to mangoes. So not always so wonderful for everyone.
The dragon fruit diet works, after you buy it you will not be able to afford anything else to eat.😅

I thought this was a health channel not a taste so why not put durian in a category that way there isn't ambiguous nature in your selections
I can't find any organic. What if they have contaminates??
I've had durian. It really stinks and is an acquired taste. I had to hold my nose to eat it. Its ok, but the smell lingers a few days.
I've never been exposed to the fruits from countries outside of the United States of America.
I highly recommend A2 NZ grass fed butter and cheese
I like sapote fruit.
How about Bitter melon is that good to eat? I eat the leaves and tiny flowers 🌼 also
