The white fruit on the cacao seeds (chocolate) is also good; it's bitter but good. We picked them fresh off of the tree with a machete and cut them open to eat the fruit and then dry the seeds for the chocolate when I lived in southeastern Mexico.

Jackfruit tastes like a cross between a mango and a banana to me, and is delightful fresh or dried. Its giant seeds can be cooked and eaten.I first tried it and dragonfruit when I traveled to Southeast Asia. You will see signs there of a durian with a circle around and a line through it indicating that they are expressly prohibited. because their smell is so disgusting. Have any of you ever baked avocado seeds? The seed contains more nutrition than the green part.

Jackfruit can only be taken when it is ripe. It’s very sweet and equivalent to Durian. Should consume only moderately.

Well if you going to eat it raw, yes it is true that you can only eat it when it is tipe. But you can actualy eat the not ripe jackfruit after you cooked it.
Here in Indonesia there is a lot of dish that used the unripe jackfruit
Fyi, we also eat it's seed (boiled or fried) 😊

You''re really unfair to durian. Should be S or A. The smell of this fruit is also enjoyable. I really love it. Even if I eat a whole 2kg durian, I still lose weight an load up with great nutrients. It would have better to stick with the benefit/risks analysis instead of considering the slight inconvenience (the smell) which is subjective (Some don't like it, some do like it). Come on Dr Gundry! LOL Anyway, I love your shows. Thank you.
