I had to cut my daily limit down to 15 per day (5 for bank) I got carried away and almost couldn't pay my lease July 1st ooops...so now I go out and in 2 days I can find enough stuff to list for the entire week. 30% Sell through 5 cog $15+ sell price. I have a lot of free time now, 15 listings a day take no time lol I'll move back up to 30 eventually...discipline to not go thrifting everyday, and consistency to list every day are the hardest part of this business
Listing is everything. Otherwise you are out of business

I pray for the day i find all this stuff. I watch these videos to learn more and more. But i find i know a lot of these items, brands, things they say. And i dont see that here in SC. Not to scale. It would have to be 8 hour days to get 3-4 pieces on avg. That was $30 items and up. Unless i want to be a coat seller. Thats what i find myself having to buy to be worth getting $30 or more for.
Go to where they aren't that price. Lots of people in north Carolina crushing it. I do 3, 4, 6 hours
I always find the listing goal per day a balance. If I push for 20 items a day, it will force me to over buy as I currently stand. Until I can consistently sell 10-15 a day, I can't afford to be pushing for 20, and I'd go out of business fast.
We have to have listing goals and buying goals. Budgets for both.

I lived in London for about a year. We used to go to the church rummage sales - THE BEST!!!! Rain or shine, and the money goes to a good cause and prices were incredible. Now this was in 1979, may have changed wildly since the introduction of internet and ebay. Growing up in Oz, we never had anything like garage/yard/church/estate sales. When I cam to the US (in 1982 - started in NH), I fell in love with this activity and it was one of the MAIN reasons I decided to move here permanently! We truly are so very very fortunate to have this avenue of buying and reselling and what a blast the hunt is!! Great pod Tech
I used to live in NH and spent Saturdays going to yard sales. It was my break from kids and husband. The treasures and prices were fantastic!

@@technsports I have a ton of death pile really overwhelming something I can’t seem to move, or what to post first. I’m too the point now is to divide it all by like items and do 10-15 til it get a better system or clear enough room. I’m having money flow issues because I’m not selling enough but buying too much! I know the classic way lol
There will never be enough people on this planet that gives enough.. dangs? about what goes in the garbage daily to keep it from happening. Some of my best sales came from the St. V. "trash" and Im thankful. Cruising town just for a break and picking up "garbage" with a lot of money in it constantly. Gold and money, even. I feel like most of the world has absolutely no clue, or no give a damn.
There is money everywhere. You just have to know where to look.

Especially when its not auctions but snipping Listings all over the Internet with Misspellings finding things for under $10 that you know will sell for over $100 plus there is no feeling like that to know you just Capitalized on someone's mistake! its like a natural HIGH!
That's right. There are also websites that help look for the misspellings.

You’re not kidding about the postal being integral in your business. I make it a goal to greet my carrier over here and go out to the truck to retrieve the bin. In winter hot cocoa at the ready, or an icy can of coke in the heat goes a long way! Plus eBay gift cards for holidays. When I lived back home we got so chummy with the postman he is Godfather to my daughter.💕

Great conversation. Jamie is super knowledgeable. Although I agree with Tech I doubt you can get to 1mill profit solely sniping of Vinted. Vinted in the UK is not for businesses and your account will be closed before you get anywhere near that figure. Although I still think Jamie will get there but via a different route.
Definitely going to be challenging. But he will figure it out I'm sure of it

I also run my entire ebay store from my phone. Sometimes I need info the app doesn’t have so I access the desktop site via my phone.
The computer slows me down 100%.
Practice more on the computer. It's honestly much faster & has everything. Just takes a little bit of time to get accustomed
