I haven't done it yet. I'm doing it 2nd, 4th and 8th November (2 non - calc and 1 calc). Which me luck!!!!
My teachers said that we're gonna have to wait till some time in January coz the people who control the grade boundaries are still deciding whether they should put it up or down a.k.a harder or easier. Fingers crossed for easier!!!
Also i had yo do 3 papers. 2calc and 1non calc. The 1st paper was easy.
2nd paper was a easy but there were harder questions and the last paper was kinda hard. But I'm pretty sure they if you revise well u will have a guarantee of passing. I revised abit. So let's how to God i pass!!!

I am retaking maths for the third time I honestly don’t know what I am doing wrong
Im going to retake my gcse in the summer except English I’m going to retake in November and I’m going to do my a levels next year.
I was thinking of resitting English Lang. I got given a 5 and I expected a 6. Although I got accepted into a grammar school for sixth form and I’m getting good opportunities so I really don’t see the point.
You need a grade 6(B) for certain degrees in universities. You should resit it because you dont want to resit it 2-3 years in the future unless your 100% sure you dont need it.
yaz I wish you luck! ⭐️ I’m not going to resit mine. I’m focusing on a levels and getting the best grades possible (aiming for 3 A*s). That’s my priority. I’m over GCSEs. If I get 3 A*s in a level (one of my a levels is English lit) and they still overlook me because of my grade 5 then so be it. I don’t even know what I want to do in the future yet, so again, a levels are my top priority at the moment.
yaz I understand 😊 I’m planning to apply to Cambridge. Cambridge put more emphasis on a level results than GCSEs, and a stellar performance a-level can make up for a less stellar performance at gcse. I know you’re probably thinking how on earth I could get into Cambridge with a 5 in English Language. However I did an A in English lit and I’m doing it for a level. Plus there are an abundance of people who got into Cambridge with those similar grades. Ibz mo got into Cambridge with Cs Bs and even a D at GCSE. It is possible. Plus my new school is giving me fantastic opportunities and advice to help with my applications. If I really thought it was necessary to resit, I would. But in 2 years or so those results won’t even matter. So I really don’t see the point in my circumstance. But as for medical school, I would take a look around medical schools you’re looking at and look at the specific GCSE requirements. If a 6 isn’t needed, don’t put yourself through that unnecessary stress and focus on getting the best a-level results possible- however if you have your heart set on a dream school or a couple of school that require a 6, then resit if it’s deemed necessary. x

so i failed maths this year :/ bummer. its being remarked because i was only a few marks off a grade 4, however because of my learning difficulties (like i need extra time in exams etc) my college is allowing me more study time, so instead of resitting the exam in November i get to wait until May. it may sound like a HUGE bummer cuz i'd be stuck in maths forever but if it gives me a greater chance at passing...why complain? wish me look peeps!

In my opinion I dont think its worth it just focus on ur other subjects ur taking

Ask yourself what you don’t know. Be honest with yourself and revise all of that
I needed an eduction to recover from my state education. Pathetic boring teachers, People trying to bully you. No one telling you why subject x is of use in the real world.
