This is a follow-up video primarily focusing on the distribution tools in Lightburn and how to use them. I was asked about them in a previous live stream. My brain wasn't firing on all 8 cylinders in the previous stream. So, I decided I needed to do a follow-up focusing on these tools. I also show how I addressed a problematic file that needed to be cleaned up.

@@HoboWithWood Perfect! I agree there isn't much info out there and I agree with you about the icons. I think they are so confusing a lot of people don't take the time to learn them because it is hard to tell exactly what they do.

Thanks Steve, I’m glad to learn of the explanation of those distribution tools.
If you consider the stub of lines on each icon as a centerline, it makes perfect sense for the vertical alignment selection to have center lines in the horizontal direction. In a dimensioned drawing the distance between centers would be shown to those centerlines.

Did you know if you have an SVG file on your desktop you can click on it and hold your left button down and drag it straight into your lightburn and it will open, even into your light burn icon on your desktop

For whatever reason, I could not access the original attachment. So, I emailed my previous download from my laptop to the PC. I was getting an error on the PC when trying to download the original.
@@HoboWithWood maybe the email on the PC is set to max size of email smaller than email setting on laptop, other than that it was that Evil Squirrel again.
Does this only work with squares or any shape? I tried to use it for circles, but it didn't work for me. Maybe I did something wrong. I missed the dang live. 😢
Any shape. Make sure you have selected all the pieces. They shouldn't be grouped. Then select the distribution desired.
What happened to closed caption?
I have to wait a while after a stream for TH-cam to process the stream before I can get the captions online.
this may be a dum question, but you did duplicate and then rotate i know how to do the duplicate but not so sure how to do the rotate.
If you are referring to the six pairs I rotated at the end, I used the circular array to create the duplicates and rotate them.
No, it was more like the middle. You had 6 boxes at the top. You duplicated him and then rotated him. But I didn't see how you did the rotate.
