It must be wonderful to be able to grow such a fabulous variety of produce! Here in South West Scotland the ground is a quagmire most of the year with an invading force of slugs that eat just about everything. I can manage tomatoes in my greenhouse and kales in tubs up on tables outdoor. The flowers that do best are roses and geraniums - the slugs and rabbits do not touch them as they can be poison to them. Otherwise the slimy Scottish version of locusts feast to their hearts' content. Loving your videos!!

Paul Robeson is my favorite as well!! Also enjoy tomatillos. Beautiful plants to boot. I make the salsa verde to can as well as roasting, then freezing them for winter mexican dishes......I'm in s. Indiana, squash bugs were so bad last year, only zuchini this year lol......gardening, like childbirth, we forget the pain
....I hear ya on the seed ordering. You will not be satisfied with only your box store seeds. To make myself save seeds as well as use what I have bought, I limit myself to $25 online seeds now, mostly migardner. Thats about 12 new packets, more than enough . Let face it, buying and trying new needs is part of the enjoyment 😊
I love and share your gardening enthusiasm . I can’t wait to get in the dirt either..though my seedlings won't get into the ground until after May long weekend. Lots of time yet for planning.
Interesting about the okra flowers. They are beautiful...I may have to grow some just for the flower. I wonder if its a vineing plant? I will look it up.
Each area has its own bug trouble. We don't have Squash bugs , but we deal with other nasties that munch on our plants . No one gets off 100 % !
