Always enjoy "seed haul" videos...great resource for discovering new things to grow in my garden. Looking forward to the fruition of you new green house and garden; glad you are repurposing the windows.
Great video! I like Baker Creek seeds. I haven’t grown a lot from them but I liked what I did grow. I’m super excited and happy for you about your dream garden and greenhouse! Sounds absolutely beautiful! I’m glad you are doing the winter jug sowing. I was looking for someone to collaborate with about winter jug sowing for a video. We may need to talk further…🤗☺️
I have a Bakers Creek haul - I did get the same Yarrow Fruitbowl and Balloon Flower Blue and Balloon Flower Fugi White - I hope I can grow all of the flowers I hauled this year - I'm not a seasoned seed grower but we will see. Looking forward to seeing your garden this year!
Nice selections! The nice thing is, Baker Creek sends a good amount of seeds, so if your first set doesn’t work out, you can always try again! Thanks for your excitement for my new garden! 👩🏽🌾🙂
Nice Baker Creek haul! I believe you said you have better luck with perennial seeds using cold stratification. I don’t have that option right now from your experience what do think of the refrigeration then plant outside after frost date. I’m in zone 4b. Thank you. PS: love the fountain
Hey Kim! I’ve done the freezer/fridge before and had success. Thanks - excited about the fountain! Here is a good site with helpful tips: www.americanmeadows.com/content/how-to-cold-stratify-seeds#
Hi Ashley! I ordered mine from Van Noort Bulbs in Canada. (Wholesale orders with minimum of $500) If you’re in the US, check out Farmer Bailey! Best of luck with your new garden! 👩🏽🌾🌸
Dependant on the variety! Just to name a few… Yarrow, Feverfew, Rudbeckia - yes. Echinacea, Asters, Columbine - these take an extra year to bloom in my experience. 🌸🙂
Your new garden sounds magical! I can't wait to see it become a reality. ⛲
Thanks for joining me! I look forward to taking you along! 🌸🥰

Beautiful flower selection! Baker Creek Never disappoints 😁
Thank you! Nice to hear from people who’ve ordered from them before! And a fellow Canadian! 🙂🪴

Oops sorry just seen the answer to my question down farther in the comments. Thx for this fun video
Thanks for watching Kathy!
Where did you order the echinacea plugs? I am starting a new border garden in the spring and ordering plugs would be so helpful. Thanks!

Do your perennials bloom the first year with the winter sowing method?
Dependant on the variety! Just to name a few… Yarrow, Feverfew, Rudbeckia - yes. Echinacea, Asters, Columbine - these take an extra year to bloom in my experience. 🌸🙂
I'm curious Did you say you ordered 24 plugs? I haven't checked into plugs because i thought had to buy in quantities of 500 or so.
The supplier I bought from offers smaller amounts 🙂🪴
