When I started quilting I knew I wouldn’t be able to sit due to back issues. For 15 years I’ve quilted standing. I love it

Ah Ha! I'm not the only one who sews barefoot! I have to feel the pedal under my foot. Anyone else need to do that? LOVE this quilt! Teal was the perfect addition (like a dark Autumn sky!)

OMG this was just the pattern I was looking for! I can't wait to get started! I'm making a quilt for my daughter-in-law and have some beautiful fabrics, but I just couldn't find a square that really inspired me to go ahead and cut that fabric up.... :D! This is the perfect solution, and will complement these beautiful florals perfectly! Again, you have inspired me!! Thank you! (and thanks for the awesome binding tip!!!)

Haven't made a fall quilt. The fabric is beautiful but not my thing. I still have 6 more quilts to make for family and 3 of them are quilts of valor.

Love the quilt and a great way to use scraps. The reason your square in a square blocks were not always the correct size is because your center square is off. The math to get the correct size is nasty. You cut your center squares 6". It needs to be slightly larger, about 6 and 1/16th. In my opinion, the easiest way to get the correct is cut a 6 1/4" square and trim down using Deb Tucker's ruler that has the actual size on the ruler. They will come out perfect every time.
